The top notes unfold a citrus freshness with grapefruit, cardamom and bergamot; the heart reveals Tahitian vetiver, Bourbon geranium and ylang-ylang; while the base notes anchor the essence with Bourbon vetiver, sea salt and iris.

A daring creation by Ellena’s daughter featuring a very original blend of vetiver and sea salt. At one point, between the dry-down and the heart, the sea salt takes a turn for the worse, smelling like disinfectant or soap, which ruins the overall effect for me. Still, it takes guts to create something so original. Rating: 4.
A risky effort by Ellena’s daughter, showcasing a very original and well-blended combination of vetiver and sea salt. At some stage in the fragrance’s development, between the end of the top notes and the heart, the sea salt veers into household hygiene territory, smelling of disinfectants and soapy products, which, in my opinion, spoils the whole thing. Nevertheless, it takes guts to create such original compositions. Rating: 4.
I like it. The bitter opening of grapefruit and cardamomo leads into a powerful, slightly floral salty vetiver. It’s a curious fragrance. It reminded me a bit of Encre Noire, but this is softer and fresher. Ideal for spring and summer, for daytime. Long-lasting longevity with a moderate trail.
