It doesn’t remind me of Polo Red at all. It’s much more artificial and synthetic. Polo is more sophisticated and sweet. Adrenaline has a potent synthetic aroma; it smells very good but eventually becomes tiring.
Before reading the reviews, I thought: ‘it reminds me of Polo Red’. I think it’s a famous ‘acceptable’ fragrance, sweet, suitable for cold days. Perhaps I’ll buy it.
I bought it a week ago and I love it. It’s truly irresistible; you feel like biting it, haha. The bad thing is that, on my skin, it doesn’t last long, at most about four hours, and I have to reapply it, which is a pity as it’s not exactly cheap either. But weighing the pros and cons, it’s a good purchase.
Well, this perfume is one of the normal good ones and that’s it; it’s no masterpiece. On my skin, it smells like mocha and honestly, it smells quite good for its price. Longevity and sillage are good within its power. I give it a 6/10 and I think that’s more than enough.
A perfumer offered me this scent with great insistence, probably because there was some promotion for the sales assistant, hehe. For me, it’s a generic fragrance and a copy of Versace Eros at a cheap price, $30 for a 100ml bottle. It also reminds me of a Perry Ellis 360 Collection, ideal for those who don’t want to spend on Eros; this will suit them.
To start, I’ll say that Adrenaline isn’t a fragrance suitable for niche noses… It’s affordable in most countries, around $20 on average, sweet but not overpowering, with a hint of spice. It feels like a cross between Polo Red and Givenchy Play. It has medium to low longevity and sillage (depends on skin, weather, etc.). In short, if your nose isn’t offended by something synthetic and you like sweets, you should give it a try. I also share that it resembles Aurum by Natura.
I own it because it was a gift; I don’t think I would have bought it myself. It smells nice, certainly, but it doesn’t stand out as a fragrance with its own identity. It smells like Polo Red, perhaps less intense. It’s a good companion for going out for that first morning coffee. I appreciate wearing it. Its dry-down reminds me of the scent of a dry cork from a bottle of red wine. I also own the after-shave cream, and it is decidedly better than the perfume itself, or at least for me.
Better than Polo Red on my skin, with a slightly more masculine touch.
Forget the prejudices; the fact that it’s by a singer doesn’t make it bad. It’s sweet but not gourmand, fruity, and dries down to smell just like Eros Flame. To me, it reminds me of red berries or blackberries. It’s cheap, smells good, lasts quite a while, and has moderate projection. A small discovery…
Prejudices aside; just because it’s by a “singer” doesn’t mean it has to be bad; it isn’t. It’s sweet but not gourmand; it’s fruity. In the dry-down, it’s very similar to “Eros Flame”. To me, it reminds me of the smell of red fruits or berries. It’s cheap, smells good, lasts quite a while, and projects moderately. A small discovery…
Sweet, exotic, slightly synthetic perfume. Longevity: 7.5: Lasts a minimum of 6 hours on my skin. Projection: 7.5: Good projection. Projects a lot for 2 hours, then goes down very slowly. Versatility: 7.5: Winter, autumn, and spring are its correct seasons. Scent: 6.5: Rich but too synthetic. General: 7: Sweet, very economical, quite rich, yet synthetic.
After stopping to read the other reviews on Fragrantica about this perfume, I can summarise that it’s somewhat synthetic, like most famous designer perfumes are nowadays. However, it’s not fair to read so many negative reviews about this wonderful perfume. If you compare the price-to-scent ratio, I give it a 10 out of 10, better than many high-cost perfumes. The aroma has a characteristic smell, but something light, like Ultra Male by Jean Paul Gaultier, of course, but it distinguishes itself and embraces its own identity. Longevity on my skin was more than 10 hours, and I could still smell it quite strongly on my inner arm. The trail is heavy; it makes itself felt from the moment you put it on, and even after three hours, it still smells excellent. My sister asked me what I was wearing from three metres away and said it smelled delicious. I was surprised because I didn’t think it would project or have a quite perceptible trail. I received other compliments too; at a similar distance but at 1.5 metres, we were in a group, and one of my classmates said, “Who has that scent? I haven’t stopped smelling it; it smells exquisite.” She approached and said, “It’s you,” and asked what brand of perfume I was wearing because she was attracted like crazy. But I always reserve my fragrance so it doesn’t become mass-produced. If I told you all the compliments from women and praise from colleagues, I wouldn’t finish saying it’s a hidden gem. In terms of scent, trail, projection, and longevity, it’s excellent; nothing is missing from the perfume. It conjugates citrus, fruity, and sweet notes very well on the skin. Women love it; I can last all night. Because its strength is at night, with cooler temperatures, but it’s great; when it starts to get warmer or people start dancing, it begins to project more, transforming into a beast with an impactful dry-down. I’m surprised because it always gives you a sigh of the scent. Very sublime… Now comes the question: would I recommend it? Yes, 100%, especially for parties, nights, cool temperatures, and not too warm. Night outings, meeting a partner, club nights. And I give it a 10 out of 10 for compliments. I recommend buying the cream and gel and the perfume to apply it with the magic I’m mentioning, and you’ll see the magic of the perfume. It conjugates very well to reach excellence.
Having read other reviews on Fragantica, it initially sounds synthetic like most major designer scents today, but that’s unfair to this wonderful fragrance. If you look at the price-to-scent ratio, I’d give it a perfect 10 out of 10; it outperforms many high-cost options. It has a distinctive, light character reminiscent of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Ultra Male, yet with its own identity. On my skin, it lasted over 10 hours; even at three hours in, the trail was heavy and noticeable from a distance. My sister, standing three metres away, asked what I was wearing and said it smelled delicious. I was so surprised by the projection that I thought it wouldn’t be perceptible at all. Another compliment: at about a metre and a half in a group, a colleague couldn’t stop sniffing it, asked for the brand because it was so alluring, but I keep the fragrance to myself so as not to overuse it. If I listed all the compliments from women and colleagues, I’d say it’s a hidden gem. Scent, trail, projection, and longevity: excellent, nothing to be desired; it blends citrus, fruity, and floral notes perfectly. Women adore it and it lasts all night. Its strength lies in the evening with cool temperatures, but when the dancing starts or it gets warm, it projects even more and transforms into a beast with an impactful dry-down. It always leaves you breathless; truly sublime. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, 100%, especially for parties, cool evenings, night outs, meeting a partner, or clubbing. I’d give it a 10 out of 10 for the compliments alone. I recommend buying the cream and gel alongside the perfume to enhance the wonder I’m describing; you’ll see the magic. It combines everything to reach excellence.
That summer many years ago, I spent my nights studying and listening to music on Radio 3. When I finished my exams, I planned to meet Montse. I’d known her for several months. One afternoon, I met an old schoolmate on the train. She was heading to Barcelona to meet a friend, and since I was also meeting a friend, we decided to have a drink together. When I saw Montse, my eyes widened. I really liked her and managed to get her email address, back in those days when the internet was still in its infancy. I made a small space for myself and started talking to her more and more. There were plans to meet up, but Montse lived in Tarragona, which was quite far away. To make matters worse, she had fallen for another guy. As I started opening my heart to her, she began to act cold, and we lost all contact just after the summer. It was Montse who, to my surprise, contacted me. She had spent a few weeks in a village in England, had forgotten her old love, and wanted to meet up with me. One night, to see a concert in Tarragona and then sleep at a friend’s house. The day before, she called and said her friend only had one bed and that we should sleep together. Did it matter to me? Of course not. I told my brother, and he said, “Buy condoms.” I couldn’t believe it because I’d never touched a girl. Sex was very present in my thoughts but very far from reality; it was almost a chimera, a dimension that had always been closed to me, and it was strange, sensational, that it opened up suddenly. That afternoon, I showered, put on a long-sleeved blue shirt, rolled up in the style of Íñigo in “Al salir de clase” (my prototype of someone cool at the time), waxed my shoes, and bathed in perfume. I don’t remember which one, but I’m sure it had to be by a celebrity. Here I’d like to pay tribute to this type of perfume. In those years, it was unthinkable to have a Dior, Chanel, or Guerlain. For me, as a student with no money, it was completely out of reach. Daily, I used my father’s cologne (Agua Brava, Herbíssimo, Boston Men, or whatever it was), and for special occasions, I wore the one my mother had bought me. It was always a celebrity scent. Maybe it was Antonio Banderas. No idea. I went to the station, took the last train, and met Montse in Tarragona. I got very nervous because she was gorgeous. She was a small girl with long, wavy brown hair, huge green eyes, and a perfect smile with white, aligned teeth. She was wearing a short black dress and, since it was cooling down, a denim jacket over it. We went to the outdoor concert: Paco Ibáñez. But I spent the whole time wondering what I could do, far from any naturalness about it, and remembering songs by Los Planetas, the band I liked at the time. Afterward, we had a few drinks. And finally, very late at night, we walked along a promenade by the beach to her friend’s house. I tried to get things going in the clumsiest way imaginable, and she said nothing, just smiled. I would have been content with some kisses, honestly. Climbing almost in the dark up the stairs of that old, Mediterranean house, she threw herself on me and kissed me. We entered the room in silence. The window was open, letting in the moonlight. I couldn’t believe it: that, finally, was happening. She took off her dress and was wearing a black outfit. I took it off. There before me was her naked body, with small breasts and white skin, ready to quench the thirst that had been nesting in me for too many years. Every small step was a discovery. Her skin was tight, smooth, and emanating a sweet scent from her body. She reacted to every test I made with my hands, with my tongue. I crossed, without a map, unknown, amazing, and exuberant territory. But suddenly I was inside her; I felt like jumping down a slide that would take me to a new stadium in my life. While her legs wrapped around me, I heard her moans very close to my ear and realised that one of my great doubts as a virgin—how long I would be able to hold out—was resolved with every thrust, every kiss, every scratch of her nails on my back. I could last a while, but I had no idea how long was necessary. So, at one point, I decided to finish in case I was dragging it out too long. I still had much to learn about the unwritten rules of sex and to understand the language of naked bodies. Montse fell asleep by my side, and I hugged her. I couldn’t sleep all night. The violet light filtering through the window fell on her. The sound of the waves was crisp, and I enjoyed watching her curves and the smooth skin of her buttocks. My body asked for more, but I was completely paralysed. It was one of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever lived. The next day, we said goodbye at the station with a kiss. I went home full of illusions, love, and hope: my heart wouldn’t fit in my chest. Of course, I didn’t imagine I’d ever see her again. Adrenaline by Enrique Iglesias won’t have the best components in the world; in fact, it’s very synthetic. Nor will it be original, as it’s something like a One Million with a lot of apple. And its performance won’t be that of a Mancera, but it lives well for about six hours. I didn’t wear it then, but I could have back then. I think celebrity perfumes fulfil a valuable role in the spark and fantasy of very young boys who are just starting to live. People without the necessary background to appreciate the nuances of life and the grey spaces between black and white. And who simply want to enjoy, without more, something accessible and seductive that puts the accent on those moments that mark a before and an after.
Hello, it goes on quickly and easily. It lasts 8 hours on my skin with 2 or 3 hours of projection. It smells delicious; it’s not top-tier, but the price and performance are top-notch; the value for money is brilliant. Rating 7.5, well deserved. Cheers!
Hello, this is quick and easy. On my skin, it develops as follows: Longevity: 8 hours. Projection: 2 to 3 hours. Rich smell, nothing super, but it has very good price and performance; the cost-benefit ratio is very good. Overall score: 7.5, well earned. Best regards!
The truth is, I saw it was cheap and bought it blindly. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I liked it very much. An exquisite citrus opening that, in no time, gives way to a very pleasant leather note. I’ve been testing it at home, and I don’t see it projecting too much or having great longevity, but it’s worth it for the price.
I bought it blindly to complete the amount and get free shipping. The truth is, the fragrance is quite good for the price. On my skin, it lasts about four hours, projecting for the first hour before settling into the skin scent. It doesn’t have much projection or trail, but it does make itself felt, mostly for people within your personal bubble. What I can say is that the fragrance is flat; it doesn’t evolve much. Basically, it’s a citrus fragrance, slightly sweet, with the main note being leather, which is the most prominent. There’s a small cedar base, but it’s not very present unless you really try to “find” it. An economical fragrance and good for daily use, but nothing special, with duration and projection a bit short for what it could be. I’d recommend using it on warm days because I imagine cooler days might make it disappear.
Review of Enrique Iglesias’ Adrenaline. The truth is, this fragrance pleasantly surprised me. The perfume opens with a well-vanillaised citrus (which is my star note) before settling into a fairly acceptable leather. The fragrance lasts four hours with an average projection of one hour. We could say the fragrance is quite basic, but for the price, it more than delivers. It’s a typical scent that doesn’t clash at all and can be worn both formally and informally. The seasons I recommend for best use are spring—which I’m currently experiencing as a resident of the Southern Hemisphere—and autumn without much cold. The price in my country when I bought it—Argentina—was very affordable for people’s pockets. I don’t know now. It has brought me compliments at my workplace—the office—from both the female and male staff, with the latter recommending it for their own purchase. In short, an economical, pleasant fragrance that doesn’t clash in the slightest in both work and personal settings, for which you will receive compliments. Best regards.
It’s not a bad perfume, but it’s very sweet and synthetic, and the leather note is very noticeable once it dries down.
What it smells like: Yanbal’s Adrenaline is very youthful, unlike this by a famous singer, since its scent is very leather-like, citrusy, and youthful. Although the smell is almost identical, its longevity lasts a minimum of 5 to 6 hours, yet it’s a real winner. Ideal for all types of weather.
