  Basically smells like Ultra Male with the dry-down of One Million or Code Profumo. The opening is super sweet, almost identical to Ultra Male. After a few hours, the tonka bean comes through, which is what reminds me of OM or CP, and the leather isn’t noticeable to me. Over 10 hours of longevity and more than acceptable projection.

  Very good fragrance; on my skin it leaves an incredible trail. In terms of longevity, it has nothing to envy from high-end perfumes.

  Smells like a mix of Versace Eros and Valentino Uomo. What a surprise, as it lasts far longer than usual for this brand. I’ve worn it for six hours and it’s still there.

  Excellent for going out at night; it lasts a long time and projects well. It’s not extreme quality, but it passes the test thanks to its longevity and trail. Worth it.

  What I notice most are citrus, iris, and tonka bean. It’s the exact copy of Ultra Male, but for $40. It lasts 8 hours, projects at 3, ideal for cold weather and nights. Recommended 100%, I give it 8.5/10.

  Citrus, iris and tonka bean are what I notice most on my skin. It’s the exact copy of Ultra Male, but Gourmand Leather costs $40. Lasts 8 hours with 3 hours of projection. Excellent for cold weather and night. 100% recommended. 8.5/10

  It’s 90% identical to L’homme Ideal. The only difference is it lacks the almond note, phew, but it’s almost identical.

  I tried it today at Zara Barcelona. Once dry, it reminds me of Black XS. Perfect for going out at night in autumn, winter, or fresh spring evenings outdoors. I don’t wear it in the office or enclosed spaces. It’s potent, leaves a nice trail and lasts quite a while for such a low price.

  I tried it today at Zara in Barcelona. Once it dries, it reminds me a bit of Black XS. Perfect for going out at night in autumn, winter, or cool spring evenings outdoors. I wouldn’t wear it in the office or enclosed spaces. It smells strong, leaves a good trail, and lasts quite a while for the price.

  I bought it on sale and I love it. Many people say it reminds them of Armani Code Profumo and Ultra Male JPG, but it doesn’t last as long. Being a quarter of the price, you can wear a lot without hurting your wallet, making it ideal for everyday wear. Not for night because it’s soft, although it is sweet. I haven’t tested how it smells with sweat. I barely notice the iris; it disappears in ten minutes leaving only the tonka, and by half an hour it’s skin-scent only. That’s why I recommend using it if you can reapply every couple of hours, otherwise it fades. But with the sale price (€12), these issues aren’t a big deal.

  I bought it on sale and I love the scent. I agree with those placing it between Code Profumo and Ultra Male, although it doesn’t last as long. Still, at a quarter of the price, you can wear it more often without hurting your wallet; a good option for everyday use. I don’t see it as suitable for night because it’s soft, though it is sweet. I haven’t tested how it smells with sweat. The note that’s hardest to find is the iris; it’s noticeable at first but disappears after ten minutes, leaving only tonka bean. By half an hour, it’s skin scent. That’s why I recommend it for situations where you can reapply in a few hours, as otherwise the scent is lost. These issues with longevity and intensity aren’t serious given the price; now on sale it costs €12.

  I’m talking about the 2019 reissue, which is the same fragrance in a different bottle. It smells very sweet, almost gourmand, pleasant and safe. It’s almost like Ultra Male but with a different twist. Very versatile, youthful and party-ready. Lasts 8 hours on skin with 2–3 hours of good projection. At €13, it’s one of Zara’s best bets. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 7.5, Projection: 7.5, Compliments: 8, Versatility: 8, Value: 8

  I was looking for an Ultra Male JPG substitute due to the price, and it’s very similar, but the longevity is terrible, like most Zara scents. It smells like cheap cologne; even a Victoria’s Secret Splash lasts longer. The trail is skin-scent only. For that price, I couldn’t expect more. Scent: 9, Longevity: 5, Projection: 4, Value: 10

  I’ve worn it for years and on me, it’s a beast—too potent and invasive, especially the sweet notes and tonka. It might be the batch, but it’s the strongest in my collection. Smells like sweetened leather, acidic with a hint of iris. Very linear.

  Gourmand Leather: Starts citrusy, then turns sweet and powdery. In the dry-down, it’s a clean, vanillaised iris, though the leather doesn’t stand out on my skin. Lasts 8 hours with 3–4 hours of projection. Fresh at first but creamy afterwards. Clean and vanillaised, yet very intrusive for hot days or indoors. Use with care.

  One of my first Zara perfumes. When I bought it at 18, I thought it was rich, sweet, and potent. Today, at 25, I detest it; I’d rather go without perfume than with this. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, unfortunately. It smells sweet, ultra-synthetic, and unpleasant. 1/10.
