Fresh and easy-to-wear iris, ideal for everyday use or as a signature. It’s that pleasant, clean scent that everyone loves. In two days of wearing it, I’ve received several compliments, which is shocking given the price (£12.99) compared to others in my collection that cost twenty times more and haven’t received a single positive input. In summary: a likable and economical fragrance that’s worth it.
It’s a robust and chivalrous fragrance that is very well-liked. The iris comes through immediately, that makeup-like but lactonic scent, unlike Dior’s but more like Valentino Uomo. It’s iris and leather with a chocolatey touch, without being heavy. Fearless to wear, it’s perfect as a daily signature: clean and fresh.
I’m an iris and talc lover; PRADA L’HOMME and DIOR HOMME INTENSE are in my top 5 (I own over 130 fragrances). Conversely, the VALENTINO ones give me a headache. I bought this based on its olfactory pyramid: it smells like a cosmetic case and lipstick, making it unisex. It partially delivers on the talcy note, but I don’t detect leather; when it dries, it smells like pencil shavings. It’s innocent, like being in a makeup factory. The opening is spectacular, but like most ZARA scents, the longevity and sillage are scarce. If I had to choose an iris, I’d vote for DIOR. Recommended? With so many options, it doesn’t stand out. It’s not uncommon, but it doesn’t say WOW. DP: It doesn’t seem to copy anything; it’s original. 🤔🤨
