I love this fragrance. I don’t detect a tobacco scent, but rather a very addictive sweet liqueur. If it had better projection it would be in my top 3 favourites, but considering its price, it seems like an option to have in any collection.
I wanted a fragrance for cold climates at an accessible price, so I watched many recommendation videos for Zara. They were all in the top 10 and they weren’t wrong. It comes out with a rich, soft vanilla liqueur aroma. Over time the liqueur fades and gives way to tobacco (though they don’t declare it), leaving a rich vanilla and tobacco smell. The projection is very good for the first few hours; even when walking or moving, I could feel the scent. Then it fades, but it still lasts on the skin for several hours. I put it on today at 7:30 and it’s 5:30 and I can still smell it. The only thing is I couldn’t find it alone in Zara, but together with Intense Dark Exclusive, which is very rich but doesn’t last as long. I recommend buying the pack, as for the price you get two very good options.
Smells like a box of cigars mixed with rum. It might sound like a bad idea, but the result is good. It lasts quite a while, it’s lovely, cosy and entertaining.
Personally, having tried perfumes of better quality and price, this is my favourite. It smells of rum, vanilla and tobacco. It doesn’t sound good, but it’s exquisite, sweet and mature. A night and winter perfume, because in other climates it can be cloying and heavy. In my opinion, an excellent purchase: 6 hours of longevity, projects well for the first 2 hours and smells exquisite. For the price, you can’t ask for more.
A great inspiration for Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, smelling quite similar for the price you pay (around 20 to 35 dollars in a pack with Intense Dark Exclusive). It’s a warm scent for getting close to smell, perfect for personal and intimate encounters. It has excellent longevity and projection: about 8-9 hours on skin and projects well for the first 2. I recommend it wholeheartedly, especially in a pack; it’s even a safe blind buy. Ratings: Sillage 6/10, Price 10/10, Longevity 8/10, Projection 7/10, Scent 8.7/10.
At first I thought it didn’t resemble Khamra, but when wearing them side by side, they do share a certain air. And this perfume costs half the price.
Simple and straightforward scent. It’s one of Zara’s most famous, although I’ve never caught it on the street or at university. It’s sold for men, yet it doesn’t smell masculine. They say it smells of apple, but I think they could taste boxed wine and think it’s expensive and fine. Rich, cheap, and with acceptable performance for the price (18 dollars for 150ml). 5/10.
To me it’s cloying and doesn’t allow the seriousness of the rum to shine through. That simple vanilla sweetness without contrast makes it feel more feminine than masculine. I get a coconut aroma from it. Projection is about an hour and a half at two metres, with a low trail.
Wow, what a spectacular and delicious fragrance, truly out of this world. Very masculine, nothing unisex.
This perfume lives up to its name. I use it even in summer; it’s addictive all year round. Greetings to the community!
I feel like the odd one out, but this fragrance hasn’t pleased me. To me it’s too sweet in the bad sense: heavy, sticky, and suffocating. It feels too masculine (I’m a girl); the rum and tobacco note is very intense and I detect tonnes of honey even though it’s not listed. This version, which is the current one, to me has no coconut or anything cosy; it’s as if someone had dumped a Cuba Libre with lots of sugar or honey on me. I’ve tried it cold in autumn and in open places and I can’t handle it, even though I like sweet, gourmand fragrances and some from Zara Man. If you don’t like perfumes with honey, liquor, or tobacco, I don’t recommend it. It’s also not pleasant to smell on a boy; I find it tolerable but I don’t like it. Review of this fragrance and others from Zara Man on my channel @probadoaprobado on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Sweet, exquisite, and pleasant, perfect for mild or cold days, day or night. At first it smells very much like Mercedes Benz Club Black, but over time it develops its own character without straying too far. Blind buy? Absolutely, if you enjoy sweet scents.
It’s sweet, vanilla-scented, and very nice. To me it’s unisex.
It’s the best you can find at Zara at a comfortable price. The aroma, the rum, and the moderately sweet base make a great combo that I see as clearly masculine and youthful. When I wear it, my brother smells it and it lingers on clothes. It’s a rich outing; when it dries out, the sweetness comes through. I haven’t found anything equal in original brands; I don’t know where they got their inspiration, but for me it’s the best. If you go out at night, carry a small atomiser so others can enjoy your essence.
Just bought it and it’s the best I’ve found at Zara. To me it smells like sweet liquor. For Argentines, it’s very similar to the Butter Toffees caramel from Dulce de Leche. Longevity is good; I think no more than four sprays because it becomes annoying, ideal in winter to soak the scent into a jumper. Excellent price and good product.
For the price it has, I was very surprised by the consistency. It’s sweet but not cloying at all.
I notice a certain resemblance to the two Kamhra scents. I don’t know if it happens to anyone else, but certain details in the dry-down are similar. To me it seems a good quality-price perfume; you can’t ask for more.
Rich perfume, well-imbibed, sweet, and with coconut without being cloying. Dries well and lasts a minimum of eight hours on skin with a light trail. Performs better in summer than in winter, but in the end it’s a matter of taste…
Sweet and unisex aroma. Smelling it brings back memories of old times: night, noir, coat, theatre, and jazz. Ideal for going out at night (but not for dancing).
Absolutely love it; for €15 it’s a beast. Smells like deep, sweet liquor with a super subtle touch of tobacco that adds maturity. Longevity is top-notch: four or five generous sprays last all night with a good trail; two or three make it more contained for intimacy. Not for very young guys, suits people aged 25 to 35 better. Gives so much more than it costs, so I’m giving it 10/10.
A rich, sexy, and unisex scent in my opinion. That note of peony flower, tobacco, and vanilla gives it an exquisite smell. Recommended if you like sweet tobacco perfumes.
A madness for the price; it’s among the best I’ve ever smelled. It’s a shame that in Argentina it costs $55, but at the price in other countries, it’s worth buying two or three and reapplying at the three-hour mark. It’s nocturnal and for cold weather; the key is not to skimp, using about 12-15 sprays, some under the clothes. The bourbon vanilla sweetness is addictive and distinct, the peony is felt in the background, and the rum is noticeable at the opening. The truth is 10/10
Probably my favourite Zara scent. Undoubtedly for the cold; it’s one of the reasons I start craving April. The longevity is brief on skin but strangely long-lasting on clothes. It’s a pity that the rum note, so prominent at the start, fades quickly. Nevertheless, it remains the best of the Tobacco Collection in my opinion.
What a fitting name. It’s in my top list of favourite Zara fragrances. It’s a sweet alcoholic scent with a touch of peony floral that gives it a neat feel, ideal for any occasion. Although the scent is rich and addictive, it has a flaw: being reformulated, the longevity doesn’t reach three hours unless you apply a lot. In that case, it reaches five, dragging on. This is countered by carrying the bottle or a decant, as it’s so cheap it doesn’t hurt to spend a bit more. The projection is low, more personal than standout, but it’s so addictive it invites people to get closer. On my skin, the projection lasted an hour but remained perceptible. Summary: yes, it’s one of Zara’s best options today, just keep in mind the longevity and bring the perfume to reapply.
I bought it due to the hype, got home, and with the first spray, I knew it wasn’t for me. Honestly, the scent is good, very natural and balanced, but I find it very feminine. I’m usually flexible with ‘women’s’ perfumes, but here I had no luck. If you’re a man and want to buy it, try it first.
One of Zara’s best fragrances, although the pity is that the longevity is very short.
I have tested Zara perfumes one by one, and this, along with a few others, is among my favourites from the current selection. It has far more notes than listed in the description.
If it had better performance, it would be one of the best tobacco fragrances that exist. The scent is addictive and warm, sweet but not cloying. A woman could wear it without issues, but in my opinion, it tends to be more masculine. It lasts 3-4 hours with very little projection; it’s more for personal enjoyment than anything else, but the scent is delicious. Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 3/10 Longevity: 4/10
A divine treasure, a total addiction. Warm, sexy, intellectual, and sensual scents for a confident man. Perfect for cold or mild climates. On my skin, it lasts six hours with two hours of projection (10 sprays); given the price, it’s absolutely worth it, can be reapplied, and is loved by everyone. Without a doubt, one of the richest fragrances you can find at this price point.
A real bargain for the price; while Zara often misses the mark, this is one of their few gems. It starts medicinal and synthetic, but within two minutes, the vanilla and rum perform a delicate, pleasant dance lasting about two hours. Ideal for cold nights, dates, or dinners; not suitable for parties or bed. For what it offers, it’s a top choice if you enjoy vanilla scents with liquor notes. Scent: 7.5/10 Longevity: 4.8/10 Sillage: 5.0/10 Versatility: 3.8/10 Compliments: 9.5/10 Originality: 2.0/10 Rarity: 1.0/10 Average: 4.8
A very pleasant alcoholic perfume (unless you run into someone who doesn’t like rum). Good price, normal longevity and nothing complicated… After an hour, only the vanilla scent remains. It’s super simple and achieves its aim. I owned the traditional Kamha and they are very similar after a while. Same with Club Black… In the end, they’re just vanillas. *One of Zara’s best
Opening a bottle of dulce de leche liqueur and pressing it right up to your nose: it smells exactly like that. A real delight. Warm, sweet and creamy. It’s more for chewing than sniffing. Autumn, winter and spring nights, compliments guaranteed.
I’ve always been looking for a perfume with this scent, especially during my partying youth. And now that I have it, I must say it gives me a headache. It reminds me of waking up after one of my worst hangovers, turned into rum (Sierra Morena 😅) with my hair saturated with cigarette smoke. I must admit that the perfume is spectacularly well crafted. The longevity is about six hours… Although I drank plenty of water and took aspirin 😅. Cheers.
What a treat to smell this fragrance; a sweetness that accompanies you and brings back very happy memories. Simply delightful.
An excellent alternative to SWY, affordable and easy to like. It’s opulent, sweet and serious thanks to the bourbon notes; I use it perfectly for dates, bars, social gatherings and even in the office on cold days. It leaves a great trail and makes a statement. Being from Zara makes it budget-friendly and accessible to everyone. It’s a fantastic perfume, worth adding to your collection because it’s impossible not to like it and it makes you feel exactly how you want to.
Another sweet gourmand, bland nowadays for ignorant beginners who start in perfumery and claim to know but have no idea at all. THIS WATER IS COMPLETE RUBBISH.
It was one of my first acquisitions when I wasn’t yet ready to risk high prices and was following YouTubers, in this case Raúl de Perfuminsta. Upon receiving it, I liked its alcoholic opening, which reminded me of rum, evolving later into a slightly plastic vanilla with contained longevity and sillage. Over time, I used the 12% and realised it wasn’t my type: 1. The opening is the best; it smells like aged rum, interesting and far from designer scents, but it lasts only seconds. 2. Once dried down, the vanilla appears and smells like a dessert with diluted vanilla essence in alcohol, with a slight chocolate impression, until it evaporates. 3. I don’t detect the tobacco note, which is a pity as it doesn’t balance that disproportionate vanilla. 4. I don’t like the aroma; the rum opening is interesting, but the rest doesn’t evoke any emotions in me. The vanilla smells plastic, like a room freshener, and I associated it with a women’s perfume (Nina Ricci), so I see it as a basic feminine fragrance. 5. You have to overapply it to make it project and last, at least 20 sprays, which can be off-putting to others. 6. It might please some, especially some women; a friend said it smelled of honey. It’s accessible in Peru and might please those around you, but it must suit your taste and personality, which is why for me it’s a NO. I ended up selling it to a friend.
Very pleasant and leaves a rich scent on the skin. It doesn’t project much, but it’s noticeable up close and lasts about five hours, which is great for its price. Don’t look for a bomb; it’s a closeness fragrance that works perfectly.
It’s one of my favourites from Zara. While it’s not cheap compared to others, it’s worth every penny. I’m not an expert on notes, but all I know is that it smells very original and distinct within the brand, without being controversial. It’s easy to like, as if the word ‘tranquillity’ had been bottled. It’s kind, sweet and perfect for cold weather. If you’re a man, it takes you out of the routine of typical scents; it’s ideal for a date or something special. A hug!
It’s one of my first purchases and I consider it quite good for its low cost, which is normal for Zara. The only weak point is that the longevity isn’t great and it doesn’t leave enough of a trail, but it still manages to smell very pleasant.
