Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
From what I have tried, it has a hint of PDM Layton in the drydown and a touch of the discontinued Valentino V at the start. It offers a similar experience to both fragrances for €25, which is very good.
It literally doesn’t smell of anything… it’s terrible… you try to detect a note… and it’s a synthetic muddle that is quite noticeable after application, and it’s disillusioning.
I have smelt this before, I am sure of it, but I cannot work out where. A very well-crafted rum, vanilla-led and with a hint of incense in the base that makes it truly pleasant, warm, and addictive. It will not be the fragrance of your life, but for its price, I doubt you can find anything of that profile that surpasses it within its olfactory category. The longevity is truly surprising; freshly opened, it exceeded 10 hours on me, projecting strongly for the first two. I do recommend it.
I was expecting something rather denser given the notes and the colour of the liquid, but it is one of those fragrances that is neither here nor there, both in smell and performance. That said, the atomisers in this collection are brilliant!
