  • I think it’s beautiful; I’ll enjoy it a lot next winter here where it gets cold, and it lasts forever. I see it as perfect for daily wear: subtle, cosy, and classy. It has excellent longevity but the trail and projection are very moderate, which doesn’t bother me; it’s for personal enjoyment, putting on a thick jumper and watching a movie with chocolate while it snows outside. That’s the vibe! SIDE NOTE FOR ANYONE FROM ARGENTINA: It smelled very similar to Dadatina’s Balance when it dried down.

The first thing you notice is the praline, like a first-class milk chocolate bar. Then the jasmine, sandalwood, and amber make it enveloping. It’s rich but not hyper-rich, just a normal cologne. If you want something good from Zara, I’d try Golden Decade, Red Temptation, and Orchid; the others I haven’t tried or they just don’t cut it.

  • Oh, I adore it! It’s now my favourite, it obsesses me, and I want to wear it every day. It has a spectacular praline scent, vanilla and almond, very creamy. The longevity is good and the projection is excellent, with constant bursts. Would I buy it again? Yes! I already want a refill.

  • After the social media blitz about this Z&V This Is Her clone, I couldn’t resist trying it. Three minutes in and I was already paying. I fell in love at first sight, although I think it’s not an aroma for everyone.

  • What a pleasant surprise. I love it and it’s the Zara scent with the best longevity on my skin, lasting over eight hours. The trail and evolution are wonderful; it smells even better after three or four hours. It’s very powdery but not cloying. Without a doubt, one of the best from Zara.

  • I saw many videos recommending it and tried it in-store. At first it didn’t convince me, but then it did. On my wrist it seemed unisex so I bought it as a gift. As soon as I applied it to my neck, it seemed strong; I think it’s jasmine or sandalwood. I don’t know much about perfumes, but in Argentina I wouldn’t wear it in summer; a splash on the chest and I can’t stop smelling it. In the heat, it puts me off a bit, so I’ll use it moderately in winter. It’s a gift for my partner, but I wouldn’t keep it for myself. It’s too strong, powdery, and overly floral.

To be honest, I didn’t like it. It feels very powdery and soapy, with a sharp edge that makes my nose itch.

  • At first I thought: why all the hype? But within seconds it settled on my skin and I fell in love. It has a powdery, creamy, lactonic touch, as if there’s an iris note. The sandalwood matures the vanilla, preventing it from smelling like a common cake. It’s different, not a typical sweet scent. It’s now one of my signature perfumes alongside Hypnotic Vanilla.

  • I’d been searching for a dupe for Zadig & Voltaire for ages and finally found it. I’m absolutely thrilled; it hits the mark 100% and makes me feel gorgeous. The longevity is ten out of ten, and I’m surprised how cheap a clone like this is.

  • I tried this today at Zara and it completely won me over. It smells like whipped cream with praline, slightly powdery at first but ends up being a lovely sweet scent, not cloying. It’s delicate yet has character, not just for the ‘good girl’ crowd. It’s a pity only one drop was left, but that was enough to convince me. It’s now on my wishlist.

  • Clearly, it’s the dupe of This Is Her by Zara & Van Cleef. The trail is softer and the longevity is a little shorter; on my skin, it doesn’t reach seven hours. But for under £8 in Spain and its scent, it’s well worth it. I recommend it 😍

  • Flor_rossa

It smells incredibly sweet and the longevity is very good, lasting almost all day on my skin. I bought the small bottle to try it and I will immediately purchase the refill.

  • A sweet, creamy, and very soft fragrance. The trail is light and so is the longevity. It smells similar to Natura’s Essential Palo Santo. Praline and amber dominate, but it fades very quickly. It’s so lovely, what a pity about its longevity.

  • A wonderful fragrance that doesn’t last more than five seconds on my skin. Thanks to Dior, Zara has launched their Intense version. Please add it to Fragantica! FIELDS AT NIGHTFALL INTENSE is more intense, enveloping, caressing, and it lingers… oh, it’s a dream. I wore it to sleep and sprayed my pyjamas; by morning, there were still delicious bursts. How does that sweet, warm milky praline blend so well with a burst of jasmine and orange blossom? Do I smell flowers? Yes, and they are wild, but it remains Fields at Nightfall. It’s addictive; that creamy nutty element (chestnut, walnut…) mixed with milk cream… I’ve never heard such a combination. It’s like a hug, addictive, comforting, and wonderful, driving me crazy like Zara’s Hypnotic Vanilla, my other favourite ♥️

  • From Zara’s budget range, this is my favourite… It’s woody, creamy and slightly sweet (I sense some nuts, maybe chestnuts?). I normally hate woody scents, even masculine ones, but this is different. I love it and when my blind-bought 30ml bottle runs out, I’ll buy the larger size. Note: the longevity is low (though decent for the price). It doesn’t project, has a weak sillage and lasts 4 hours on me. But it’s perfect for daily wear; being soft, it’s not overwhelming, and at this price, I don’t mind reapplying. You can buy it blind without fear.

  • marinalazo92

Oh dear, the jasmine at first gives me a headache and even a bit of a stomach ache. Once it dries down, however, it transforms completely: it becomes creamy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. It doesn’t last long, but for the price, it’s quite good.

  • I must add that it lasts on clothes until the next day. The Intense version has already launched; it shares the same DNA but is more caramelised; on me, the new one lasts less. I haven’t seen reviews or added it to Fragrantica. I’m super happy to have discovered Zara perfumes; I’ve tried many designer or inspired scents that give me reactions on my skin, but not with Zara. Curious, I’ll have to find out why. If anyone else is sensitive to fragrances, I hope this helps.

  • Frutillada

I adore it, it’s rich, sweet and creamy. It doesn’t last more than 4 hours on the skin, it’s not a bomb, but it’s perfect for day-to-day wear or work because it’s not overpowering. Compared to the Zadig version, this has better performance on my skin; the Zadig lasts a mere breath and here I don’t notice that jasmine floral note. I’d buy it again. What excitement that Zara launched the Intense version! I hope it arrives in Argentina soon so I can purchase it

  • MariangelinaC

I’ve worn it for years; it’s one of the few from Zara I always restock and I adore it. I haven’t tried the one people compare it to, but this has nothing to envy from any expensive perfume. It’s exquisite and unlike any other fragrance I’ve tried before.

  • It has just arrived and I’m delighted. I own the original This is Her and it’s exact. We’ll see about the longevity and sillage, but regarding the scent, it’s identical. Very pleased, because I was about to buy the 100ml version from Zadig, but for now, this is enough. I’ve also bought the Intense and at first glance it seems different, more floral, but also very lovely.

  • Unlike most, on my skin it’s very sweet at first, but after five minutes it turns into a powdery, soapy jasmine, so it finishes without making or breaking. It doesn’t have great sillage and the longevity doesn’t exceed five hours

  • I bought this perfume very recently. I adore it for autumn-winter; it’s warm and comforting, sweet but not cloying. I perceive it as gourmand, creamy, with some hazelnuts, absolutely delicious. I feel it doesn’t last long on my skin and I have to reapply (which doesn’t bother me because it’s so lovely that I love feeling it again); I suppose I should give it time and let it mature. I also feel it’s quite intimate, for personal enjoyment, without great sillage. But I think that, considering its price, it’s logical. I would buy it again; the fragrance seems delightful

  • Coni Macarena Miel

Liquid love in a bottle 💖. Since my Gloria and BLV departed, nothing excited me like this until now. Notes you wouldn’t expect to blend yet they do: it smells like chestnuts in syrup with whipped cream. I hate florals, but these jasmine notes are magical. It’s that clean scent with character, welcoming. I’d sing its praises! I hope I can get the original; a Zadig & Voltaire fan says it’s equally enchanting. If fairies existed, they’d wear this ✨. Don’t test it on paper, apply it to your skin to make magic happen. The longevity is top-notch, even with my high pH. It’s intimate; my husband can smell it strongly, but I feel it all and I’m so happy 🤭

  • Bramasole

Simply put: a dupe of This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire. Extremely short longevity and very little sillage. Nothing else to say.

  • Daniela1005

This perfume is beautiful. It smells of nuts wrapped in caramel and praline, that’s exactly what I get from it

  • Probadoaprobado

One of my Zara favourites and I own dozens. It’s perfect for autumn: cosy, sweet and enveloping. You can detect the sandalwood with a touch of jasmine and praline, along with some milky and nutty notes like hazelnut or chestnut. I adore it in relaxed settings; it has good longevity (the Intense version lasts longer), though for me this one is more potent in scent and has more sandalwood. Don’t miss my comparison with the Intense version on my TikTok, Instagram and YouTube profile @probadoaprobado. PS: Zara has just launched (Oct 24) a new unlisted flanker on Fragrantica, Fields at Nightfall Blush, featuring coconut water and caramel notes

  • I absolutely loved it! It leaves a dry, slightly rough sensation on the skin, yet everyone praises it and I can’t stop smelling it. I’d love to try the Intense, but I think it hasn’t reached Chile yet. I’ve been testing hundreds of scents for months hoping to find my signature, and for now, this one hits the mark. The richest one from Zara and I own many!

  • I love sweet perfumes, but this one is far too cloying for me; it causes nausea and I get the feeling it has a peculiar aroma. If I do use it, I have to apply it very, very sparingly

  • It’s identical to the Natura Palo Santo I already own. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have bought it; it’s very lovely, but I don’t need two of the same… We’ll have to see how the longevity holds up. It’s a fragrance for cold climates, not for the summer heat in Argentina. I wonder if it resembles the famous This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire, a doubt I’ll keep having since I have no trips abroad in sight 🙂

  • My absolute favourite perfume! I own three bottles because I was terrified they might be discontinued. It’s sweet, yet not cloying (at least not to me); my boyfriend says I smell clean, and he’s right. I use it frequently for work and it never gives me a headache. The only downside is that it smells so good and is so well-known that people on the street always think I’m wearing someone else’s scent 😅

  • It’s a sweet perfume but not gourmand. Mostly, it’s perceived as clean, like a fabric softener. It’s very pleasant to wear, offering comfort while at the same time being sparkling and waking you up in winter. I find it very versatile, although more recommended for cold weather. Perfect for everyday wear, work, or university, as it’s not a beast and doesn’t bother anyone.

  • anapolitana26

One of my latest discoveries. It smells clean and sweet at the same time, but not cloying; rather very pleasant and subtle. A clean lactonic scent, like cream. Longevity and projection are very good for the price. I don’t know why I imagine it on a young girl in her twenties, with long hair, who likes to take care of her image.

  • florenciaviale

For noses that are simple, it smells like sweet carnival foam. It’s a clean, sweet, and creamy jasmine. The woods cut through the sweetness but don’t overpower; I don’t detect nuts or praline. Ideal for everyday wear, for going to the gym, etc. Avoid using it in warm weather.

  • Love at first sniff. It’s beautiful, clean, and sweet but not gourmand. Impeccable for everyday wear, giving a sense of well-being. I’m not a fan of Zara perfumes generally, but this one surprised me for the better; the only downside is that it doesn’t last long on me.

  • florermantraut

Quite unisex. The sandalwood is very prominent alongside the jasmine. Zero sweetness; rather woody. I expected something creamier or lactonic.

  • I owned This is Her by Zadig & Voltaire, and it’s clear that this one from Zara is trying to emulate it. It’s warm and slightly sweet, but without going overboard. Enveloping and cosy, perfect for autumn and winter. A daily perfume without seeking great projection or longevity. If you owned This is Her and want to repeat the experience without spending so much, this could be a good alternative. Recommended.

  • I tried it and sprayed it on a jacket, but I find it hard to smell; it barely registers. I come from owning the original Zadig This is Her; at first, it resembles it, but although neither leaves a very large trail, the original feels more present and is more pleasant.

  • karlamorrobel

Smells wonderful; it’s literally the projection of a clean, refined, and delicate girl in a garden full of flowers. Ideal for everyday wear, such as heading to work in the morning.

  • Goliatucolonia

I absolutely love it; I enjoy it in the air, on my clothes, and on my skin. It has sparked my interest in the olfactory world. The first time I smelled Zadig was in a kitchen a few years ago; that scent captivated me and I never stopped dreaming of it. When I saw the price, I knew it was out of my reach, but one day I saw this perfume on TikTok with claims that it was their supreme clone. I bought it and that girl who dreamed of that praline brushing against her skin is still enjoying it years later, making it her signature scent.

  • Suitable for autumn and winter. Sweet and enveloping, though lacking much projection or trail. I’d give it a 7/10.
