When will it be available in Spain???
A fragrance halfway between Dior Homme (original) and Valentino Uomo Intense, leaning more towards the latter. Lasts about 5/6 hours with a trail of 2/3 hours. After that, it stays close to the skin until around 8 o’clock.
The opening is DH Intense, slightly lighter. But after an hour, the iris fades and it becomes a leather scent – is it ‘dirty’? It’s nothing refined, just woody notes that are barely perceptible. On my skin, it lasts about 7 hours close to the skin but has no projection. Given its price and aroma, I recommend it; I’ll leave the performance in this price range aside. You can buy it blind if you like Dior-style iris and leather.
It reminded me a lot of Prada L’homme. Good scent but the performance is very modest. Best regards.
Totally agree with yimbo83. The opening is identical to Dior Homme Intense, but the dry-down after 15 minutes is very similar to Valentino Uomo. It’s a pity the opening is phenomenal; I’ve been looking for something similar to Dior Homme Intense or Parfum for ages and still haven’t found it. The opening is good, but the dry-down is nothing like Dior Homme Intense. If anyone knows of anything similar to Dior Homme Intense or Parfum, I’d appreciate the information. Thanks.
I bought two online due to the hype of being a Dior Homme clone… but I went to the store before opening them to check longevity and projection… and yes, the opening is iris but only for 5 minutes… the projection is non-existent, it stays right up against the skin after a few minutes. I’m going to return them.
As well said, if the opening reminds you of Valentino Uomo and Dior Homme Intense, on my skin it lasts 7/8 hours with a trail of 1/2 hours. An iris and leather scent with a bit of spice; I don’t notice the cereal notes. In the end, the praliné scent remains with a light vanilla touch. For the price, it seems a marvel alongside Magnificent Black. I recommend it, yes. This new collection will be worth it.
Indeed, it reminds me of Dior Homme Iris. On my skin it is less invasive than the DH Parfum, slightly more avoirdupois (vanilla-leaning). Reviews say little longevity; perhaps it performs better in spring… a DH for spring; interesting.
It’s now on the Zara website, @D_MDZ.
A fragrance with good value for money that clearly draws inspiration from the Dior Homme and Valentino Uomo lines, taking a little from each without being an obvious clone of either, which is logical since a renowned perfumer, while they can be inspired, won’t put their name to a cheap lab clone. I agree with a previous review stating the opening resembles Dior Homme 2011 (now DH Original) closely, but then it has a slightly sweet point that could remind you of something similar to Valentino Uomo Intense, though less cloying. At its price, just over 20 euros, it doesn’t seem like a bad option if you like this type of aroma. There are cheaper options like V&L Seduction Magnetic, but definitely this one has much better quality and more nuances.

On my skin, it has an initial iris opening that soon fades, giving way to leather with very slight chocolatey nuances (I suppose due to the praliné). Projection is very scarce: I’m left with just skin scent after 20 minutes. Lasts 5-6 hours but, as I say, mostly close to the skin. Despite its performance, the smell is good (I like it) and you can feel quality ingredients, plus the price isn’t too bad (around 23 euros). I find it quite unisex (especially at the beginning), and I think it would look excellent on a woman with a decisive attitude.

As they say, the opening recalls Valentino Uomo and Dior Homme Intense. On my skin it lasts 7-8 hours with a trail of 1-2. It reminds me a lot of Prada L’homme. A good perfume; on my skin it lasts 3-4 hours at a decent level. Personally, I think I might get tired of it, so I’ll use it occasionally. Good aroma overall.
I find it simply beautiful, from the minimalist bottle to the scent itself. It has a floral iris opening, green and even slightly citrusy, but I think it comes across as fresh, vaporous and masculine. After just a few minutes, soft, sweet, powdery, slightly creamy and woody leather follows. It’s at this leather stage that the scent becomes unisex, delicate, elegant and, in my eyes, deliciously warm. Would I wear it? Of course, especially with a black outfit. I passed the night-long skin test; I sprayed it at 22:00 and it was still detectable close to the skin at 07:00. Here in Chile it’s autumn and it works well on my skin.
I bought it blindly and initially hated the scent. After a few minutes, with that soft, sweet leather, it smells very good. The first two hours are intense, then it fades like Zara perfumes. I’m looking for something for daily use in cold weather and it delivers; it’s not showy and is different from my usual scents. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again; I don’t love it, but I’m satisfied with its performance. Better to try before buying.
I find it beautiful, from the minimalist bottle to the concept. It opens floral, green iris with a citrus touch, fresh and vaporous, almost masculine. Then comes the soft, sweet, powdery, and creamy leather. It becomes unisex, delicate, and deliciously warm there. I’d wear it with a black outfit. I tested it on my skin at 22:00 and it was still detectable right up against the skin at 07:00. It works well here in autumn.
I didn’t like it. Although I was tired of dusty iris and do detect the cereal notes, it leaves me with a sensation of having cornflakes stuck in my throat all day. A definite no for me.
I think out of the three I bought from this line, this was the one I liked most; you can detect the leather and iris. On my skin, it projects and lasts very little, but since I bought them on discount, I think they do the job. The atomiser is truly awful on all three.
The iris in this perfume doesn’t smell like makeup and is much less dense than one would expect given the notes. Perfect for spring, rich and cosy, but it suffers from quite poor performance.
I bought it recently on offer and Zara sent a bottle with a plain cap and a short spray, like a mini-mist. I’m not sure if it’s defective or just that poor; honestly. Has anyone else experienced this?
Same issue with Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes: a plain cap that doesn’t fit well and a very short, fine spray. I suppose it’s due to new batches, but the applicator quality leaves much to be desired.
Similar to Dior Homme Intense or Valentino Uomo Intense (to me, it leans more towards the latter). Citrus opening with a floral touch. Iris is the star, followed by leather. Once the opening fades, the scent becomes sweeter, perhaps due to praline or vanilla. It’s a soft sweetness that doesn’t cloy but adds creaminess to the iris. For my nose, no hint of cereal. Being from Zara, longevity is reduced, around 4 or 5 hours. But as with other Zara fragrances, the price and quality encourage re-application. A plus point: good projection, about a metre. Suitable for nights out or intimate get-togethers; it will earn compliments. Still, it doesn’t clash as a signature scent for everyday wear.
A perfectly decent perfume; it doesn’t quite reach the quality of Dior Homme Intense, which it most resembles, but for the price, it’s excellent.
When I first tried it, the impression was ‘it smells like air freshener’, but within seconds the scent changes and becomes sweet and pleasant; it’s now one of my favourite perfumes.
Another well-executed clone of Dior Homme Parfum, with acceptable longevity and, most importantly, an unbeatable price. I think it’s the fourth clone of that fragrance in my collection, alongside the original.
Scent: Spectacular! Performance: Just meets the mark on longevity and projection (6 hours and 1 hour respectively). As for versatility… I wouldn’t wear it on very hot days or nights. Definitely recommended for its price if you like iris. Rating: 8.3/10
Smelling it reminded me of the classic Dior Homme from before 2020, but after buying it I realised they have nothing in common; this smells much greener. The longevity and projection are lamentable—it lasts less than a minute and leaves no trail, plus the dry-down is of very poor quality. 2/10
