  • I’ve never heard of Angels’s Share; this is my ‘closest’ experience since it’s the first time I’ve tried a clone of it. The opening didn’t catch my attention much, but in the dry-down is when I understood why it’s compared to an apple pie: a dark, dense, caramelised sweet, a smell of dough or freshly baked bread. It’s unisex and a bit heavy if it’s very hot or you’re in a poorly ventilated place.

  • Vasiliki_5

I don’t recommend it at all; it smells nice but the longevity is lamentably exaggerated. You could spray it 20 times and it disappears in 30 minutes. At Zara itself, you have Pistachio Infusion, which is a better alternative to Angels’s Share and lasts well. But anyway, the one I recommend most is Cocktail Intense from Fragrance World. Come on, don’t throw €20 in the trash for this; go for Pistachio Infusion and above all for Cocktail Intense from FW.

Soft, woody, and smoky, sweet to a degree, spiced with cinnamon and a base of dark chocolate. It’s unisex. It reminds me of a top-notch wood house with a fire burning, warm colours. I sense the iris and it confuses my brain, making me unable to stop smelling it. It also has something clean. It’s a singular perfume. I don’t know Angels’s Share, but if they smell similar, it goes straight to my wishlist. It lasts about three hours projecting, then drops to six hours on the skin. Applause to Zara for these perfumes.

After trying it, I’m not sure it’s worth spending €20 on. The dry-down is lovely with its iris, but it smells very weak.

  • Without knowing the notes, it smelled like sweet bread. Then I saw it has cinnamon, which explains everything. I liked it; it’s a distinctive scent. The projection isn’t the best, but if you want to smell different and love cinnamon, it’s an excellent choice. From that line, I’ve smelled Temper Amber, Sunrise of the Red Sand Dunes, and this one. Each smells specific: grapefruit, tea, and cinnamon. It’s impressive that Zara has captured those essences and put them in their line.

  • I feel it’s much more of a man’s scent than a woman’s. On my skin, it smells very soapy. A bit of cinnamon and barely any cocoa in the base. I don’t like this type of fragrance. It smells clean with just those two notes (at least on me). I expected something gourmand, strong, and sweet, but I didn’t find it. I’ve never smelled AS, so I can’t say if it’s similar.

  • It improves slightly with oxygenation, but it remains a fragrance very poor in longevity and projection. I don’t detect the incense and I’m addicted to it. No, it’s not right for its price, because with 20 quid you can buy much better perfumes, with far, far better performance.

  • I tried Angels’s Share and the magic lies in its liquor note, something Sunset lacks. That elevates it above the rest, setting it apart from the typical tobacco and vanilla blend from Zara. Yes, Zara smells nice, but honestly, you’re missing out.

  • Tested this morning on skin during a visit to Zara. It tries to play in Khamrah’s league but stays on the bench: a ‘want but can’t’ due to lack of sillage and longevity. Another Zara perfume that we probably won’t remember in a year.

  • Sweet, elegant and with personality. It doesn’t need to resemble Kilian’s Angels; in fact, it doesn’t resemble it much. The Angels has a marked alcoholic note that this one lacks and doesn’t need. Longevity and projection are above average for Zara: about six hours. Recommended.

I just sprayed it on an hour or so ago. Perhaps it doesn’t last as long as many say, but the aroma is well worth it; it’s a delight.

  • A rich cinnamon scent; I can’t stop sniffing myself. It’s even given me hunger. And it’s by the same perfumer as Angels Share, so what more is there to say?

  • Sweet and spiced aroma due to the cinnamon, without that boozy part that is always highlighted in Angel’s Share (although I don’t know it). It is definitely unisex, spiced, versatile, and easy to wear in the cold. The frankincense is soft, and although you might not like woody notes, you could still enjoy it. The performance seems poor, especially because it doesn’t project. On me, it lasts five hours very close to the skin. I have the 30ml bottle and it’s sufficient for my use (it’s not my style), but if you like the scent, I recommend the larger bottle because you need to reapply frequently to keep it going.

  • I bought a pack with this and Sunrise on the red sand dunes today. Although I’m not a huge fan of sweet scents, it has captivated me. It’s not gourmand; it’s a subtle, well-balanced sweetness with iris and cedar. I don’t detect the orange or frankincense, but it has left a good impression. I’ve worn it for six hours with just a spray on my finger and it’s still going, even after a shower. Thanks to my pH and good maceration, they tend to last a long time. Since it’s summer, I’ll let it mature until autumn. Very pleased with the purchase.

Incredible, I think it’s one of Zara’s best. Sweet but not cloying, I’ve received several compliments. At first it smells like sweet liquor, then as it dries down, the cinnamon appears. If you like sweets and are looking for good value, buy it.

  • ALEXICTUS

Pleasant aroma, almost gourmand, with woody notes and a hint of burnt sugar. Ideal for daytime in cold weather. It works well for evening too, but you need to reapply as its sillage and longevity aren’t its strong points. I’m not sure if it’s a dupe for Angel’s Share as I haven’t tried it, but it reminds me of Tommy Impact Intense without quite reaching its quality. Price-to-quality ratio 9/10. Longevity and sillage 6/10. Worth a try.

  • Hommeintense90

Very sweet; the orange and cinnamon create something playful and unisex for cold weather. It has personality and that intoxicating touch that is so often lacking.

  • Excellent winter signature; it smells delicious, sweet, like a restaurant dessert with cinnamon. For the price, you can’t ask for better performance, though it lasts about six hours and projects well for the first two. Excellent, I would buy it again; it’s now one of my favourites.

  • A sweet-citrus scent where cinnamon takes centre stage, a creamy and sweet cinnamon. I don’t detect the incense, which I’m glad about as I’m not a fan. Quite good for everyday use on cold days.

  • A unisex fragrance with a masculine leaning, very similar to Kilian’s Angels’ Share, both by Benoist Lapouza. The opening is identical, except it lacks cognac, but only a trained nose would notice; that fortified note recalls Carlisle Parfums by Marly. Angels’ Share is more potent, but here the cinnamon and chocolate stand out more, making it gourmand and ideal for cold climates. Longevity and projection are quite contained.

  • Leonardo-Ramirez

I love it; it’s sweet and fortified (even though there’s no liquor in the notes). The performance is moderate, but the quality-to-price ratio is fantastic. An 8/10.

  • Another Zara success: it has the price and the scent, but the projection and longevity are typical. It smells lovely, highlighting the orange and cinnamon, adding warmth perfect for autumn and winter. Ideal for everyday wear with a hint of mystery. 7/10.

  • What hits the nose most is cinnamon, pure cinnamon. It dries incredibly rich and vanilla-like, but it lasts a mere instant. I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • William Thacker

A fragrance hyped by YouTubers and TikTokers seeking views. It resembles a thousand scents on the market. The opening is good, but the dry-down is a disaster, something biscuity that, if it lands on your clothes, won’t come out. If it were a good perfume, it wouldn’t matter, but that cheap biscuit smell will force you to wash it. Zero longevity, no sillage, and projection only for the first 10 minutes. A gimmick. 2/10.

  • Joaquin2003

Short story: the opening smells like Jack Daniels with honey, but there’s no honey xD. When it dries, the cedar and chocolate emerge, sweet and delicious. It lasts decently and the price is excellent. The cinnamon is lovely; it’s for cold weather, gentlemen; in summer, just two sprays.

  • campeones22

If you’re torn between this and the INTENSE, go for the INTENSE. It’s Sand Desert At Sunset boosted, denser, with a touch of chocolate that dries differently and lasts longer. If you’re looking for something soft, this is for you; if you want intensity and that iris-and-chocolate dry-down, the INTENSE is the better choice.

  • It seems like a perfect clone of Angel’s Share at first, but the alcohol hits hard upon spraying. Once dry, it smells about 80% identical, though the longevity and projection don’t quite reach the original’s levels. For the price, it’s decent, although I’m slightly put off by that dusty note when it dries.

  • A great perfume for its price. Sweet, unisex, leaning slightly more towards masculine and not too elegant, I’d say. It’s very sweet and I don’t see it as a daily wear perfume for everything. I see it for nights out, like dinner with friends, a few drinks in a bar, or dates. For its price, I consider it worth it. (Edit). I add that I layered this perfume with Rich Warm Addictive and it’s madness.

  • nachovorago

Apart from the similarities, often exaggerated or misplaced, this is a sweet and harmless perfume for regular use, especially in cold and mild climates. With careful spraying, it’s pleasant and not tiring. Recommended for its price.

  • Benoist Lapouza is responsible for both the original and this one; very good work bringing this alternative at a great price.

  • I got it a month ago while passing by Zara and it was still cold. I picked it up because I tried it on blotting paper and liked it a lot, especially the cinnamon and cocoa scent (at first, there’s an orange that hits hard). On my skin, it’s different; I notice the iris note a lot, which for a moment reminds me of the smell of my neighbours or my aunt’s cousins on Sunday mass. That iris note (which here does remind me of old-fashioned makeup) is what I don’t like and it becomes too strong. Otherwise, if you watch the sprays on clothes, you notice a good scent at the second hour, which is when I like it most. At first, after applying, I didn’t quite feel comfortable because there are bursts of orange that are too strong and intimidating. Perhaps it’s because I haven’t tried Kamrah or Angel’s Share, but I let myself be swayed by the dry-down impressions and comments. I’ll have to try it more next year, as now in spring I have better alternatives and I think it’s no longer suitable to wear. I suppose I’ll give it another chance in autumn and when it really gets cold (not an average 16 degrees like now).

  • A scent that pleasantly surprised me. Created by Benoist Lapouza (the same as Angel’s Share by Kilian), it offers a warm, sweet, and spiced experience, very attractive for the price. Although I know it’s inspired by Angel’s Share, I haven’t tried it yet to compare. From the first spray, there’s a vibrant opening of orange and cinnamon. The orange gives a sparkling citrus touch, while the cinnamon wraps it in a spiced sweetness that hooks you. As it dries down, it becomes creamier and more enveloping thanks to the cocoa and iris, which add a slightly powdery and chocolatey base. Finally, the woody notes of sandalwood, cedar, and tonka bean round off the fragrance with warmth. It has a gourmand vibe without being cloying. It’s comforting, with that autumnal feel of a mild afternoon watching the sunset. Ideal for autumn and winter, though not so much for hot climates or formal situations. The performance is good for the price: it lasts between 5 and 6 hours on the skin, with moderate projection at first before becoming more intimate, almost like a second skin. It lingers on clothes for longer. Overall, Sand Desert at Sunset is an accessible and pleasant option for daily use on cold days. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

  • I went to the store to try it because reviewers spoke highly of it. At first, I liked it, but not much. I let myself be swayed by the opinions and bought it. Generally, I’m not a fan of sweet perfumes, and this one is quite sweet, to the point where it felt cloying. The scent seemed simple and flat. Eventually, I sold it. I emphasise that I own several Zara perfumes and usually enjoy them, but not in this case. I haven’t tried Kamrah by Lattafa and don’t know if I’d prefer it for the apple note; I think it should work better than the chocolate and orange.

  • StarlinCollado

I tried it on my skin and it’s a delight. For the price, it’s excellent. It smells of cinnamon, super good and addictive, with a pleasant sweetness. This fragrance won the day and I now have it in my collection.

  • I love it; it has the same vibe as Angel’s Share. It’s perfect for nights in autumn and winter. It leaves very pleasant memories, definitely 10/10.

  • For me, it’s one of Zara’s top three. I wore it until last winter and am already counting the days until I can buy it again. It’s a super original scent for men (or unisex), breaking away from the typical winter perfume mould. In my opinion, it’s an affordable fragrance that makes you look like someone who knows how to take care of themselves and cares about their scent. It transports me to a country house with sunflowers, dried flowers, a crackling fire, and a sweet but not cloying touch. A hug.
