Marvellous price-to-quality ratio, a fragrance to buy blind, gourmand, gets compliments, pleasant, etc.

  • After reading many reviews, I decided to buy it, as I know Fragrance World very well. I can say personally that I like it more than Khamrah: I find it much more wearable, less sweet, and with more nutty character, date-like, even though those notes aren’t declared, along with liqueur notes, etc. In winter, it’s outstanding; in my case, it causes almost no fatigue. I don’t think it’s a beast either, with average longevity but very good quality for the price, excellent aroma, and the bottle is a beauty.

  • Cocktail Intense: a rich and delicious fragrance. Sweet and rich aroma with 8 hours of longevity on the skin and moderate projection; it’s not a beast for now, I’ll let it macerate more to see how it develops. Suitable for any occasion, summer or winter, and for the price, there’s nothing to say. I see it as unisex. Longevity: 8h, projection: 1-2h weak to moderate. Scent: 8.5.

  • It feels a bit strong and cloying at first, but I’ve paired it with a cheap, unknown perfume I adore, and boom—it’s produced something fabulous. I’ll keep testing it until I get used to it; I’ve never worn anything so sweet, with a liqueur-like scent. I’m in uncharted territory, but I enjoy playing the explorer.

  • I bought it blind after seeing it on the Fragaby channel. Excellent price, and the review made me want to try it on my wife, with the option of using it myself as it’s unisex. Oh no, I won’t even tell her I bought it blind. It sprays out too sweet and cloying for my untrained nose, even making me lose my appetite. I only tolerate it once it reaches its middle and base notes; I recognise the same reaction I have with liqueurs: it reminds me of old things from an elderly woman kept in a trunk. I’ll let it macerate, try to educate my sense of smell, who knows.

  • A bit unremarkable, to be honest. It resembles Khamrah extremely, except Cocktail Intense is much less sweet and you can notice that cognac boozy note that Khamrah lacks. Up to that point, it’s good, because although personally I don’t think it’s worth buying both knowing how similar they are (unless for collecting or layering), both smell delicious and those small differences make one more suitable for a female audience (Khamrah) and the other for a male audience (Cocktail Intense), both being unisex. Now, however: the trail and longevity of Cocktail Intense are practically non-existent. On my skin it lasts very little, like a Khamrah body mist, which I do feel projects and lasts quite a bit (though I must say in my case it doesn’t last as long as on others according to their reviews). For the small price difference, I would always recommend much more buying Khamrah; it seems like a more complete perfume and the aroma is very, very similar.

  • If I were to add anything more to what’s already been said: if you’ve smelled Khamrah, I’ll tell you this is an excellent option, something softer and less invasive. It remains alcoholic in the style of Khamrah but softer. That said, it has great projection for at least the first few hours, as I’m writing this the same day I bought it (I still need to study it more). The notes that come through are undoubtedly cognac and cinnamon. For its price, I’d prefer it a thousand times over the famous Lattafa Khamrah.

  • If I had to add something to what’s already been said: if you’ve smelled Khamrah, I tell you this is an excellent option for something softer and less invasive; it remains boozy in the Khamrah style but softer. That said, this perfume also has great projection for at least the first few hours, as I’m writing this on the same day I bought it (I still need to study it more). The main notes felt here are undoubtedly cognac and cinnamon. For its price, I prefer this a thousand times over the famous Khamrah by Lattafa.

This is the best Angel’s Share dupe from Kilian; it lasts the same and resembles it 99%, not to say 100%. This perfume is a blind buy and I believe it should be in every collection.

  • Quick arm test: a brilliant blend, perfect for fresh or cold days. Projection isn’t huge, but as it’s potent, the skin scent could be too much for some. I loved it, though it might prove cloying for others. It lasts seven hours and still lingers on the skin, so by eight it’s still subtle. Totally unisex. I haven’t tried the original or the Khamrah dupe, but compared to the latter, Cocktail costs half the price, so I’ll buy it when summer arrives down south. In Chile, 100ml costs between $13 and $17.

  • Two-spray test on the arm: Excellent blend of scents. Designed for fresh/cold days; it didn’t give much projection, but given the potent scent close to the skin, I don’t know if everyone near me will like it. I must clarify that I loved it, but it could result in being cloying. I’ve worn it for 7 hours and can still smell it close to the skin, so it easily reaches a soft 8 hours. Totally unisex. I don’t know the original or the Khamrah dupe, but compared to the latter, Cocktail costs half as much, so I think it will join my collection once summer passes in the Southern Hemisphere. Price in Chile: $13-17 for 100ml.

The best Angel’s Share dupe according to Gentscents, and I totally agree. Although Angel’s Share has been reformulated, this Cocktail Intense is identical to the old batches. Perhaps the performance is moderate for its profile (4/6 hours); I think maceration will be mandatory. On application, it smells like rum with vanilla, tonka bean and cinnamon, making it smell like super exquisite boozy honey, distinct from Khamrah. When dry, it feels more robust, with mature notes like rum, cinnamon and sandalwood. It doesn’t feel synthetic or spoiled, staying super sweet and amiable. It could be one of the few liquor-note perfumes suitable for the mass market. Buy blind if you like sweets; after all, it costs $13. If there’s one that resembles it, it’s Riiffs’ Golden Elixir. Redundant if you have Khamrah? I’d say no.

Exquisite unisex perfume. Opens with alcohol and plum, which I personally love; then the alcohol fades, leaving a persistent background of cinnamon, non-invasive. Good longevity (around 8 hours and I could still smell it on my arm). Projection is normal to light, spectacular for cold and humid climates, day or night. Great price, around $15 in Chile. Final note 8/10 (would be a 10 if it projected more).

  • Quite a successful dupe of Angels Share… The only downside is there’s a much better one: Kismet Magic. After testing them side by side, I feel Cocktail is rather weak, projecting and lasting not even half as long as Kismet.

  • A tremendous gem that deserves more recognition. I consider it much better than other Angels Share dupes and at a very accessible price; it’s a compliment bomb.

  • Bought it recently. It’s exquisite, almost identical to the French Avenue Royal Blend from the same house. Cocktail is the EDP, Royal is the extract, more concentrated. Some say Royal smells better; to me they were the same, but Royal lasts longer with more essence. I love the boozy touch of Angels Share in both; it’s a wonder. I layered it with Lattafa’s Khamrah Qahwa and sprayed Cocktail Intense over it to add other nuances and liquor notes. Cocktail is very cheap and recommended. If you can afford the French Avenue extract (50-60% more expensive), that’s the one to go for. Apparently, French Avenue replicates many Fragrance World perfumes in extract form; they’re from the same factory.

  • Rich, sweet and intoxicating perfume. Lasts long and projects well, but use sparingly. It has earned me many compliments and draws attention wherever I go.
