  • I came across this perfume and let’s be clear: yes, it’s 85-90% identical to Vanilla 28. But the interesting part comes later. At first, it smells of ‘grandma’, of that classic lady with old, dark and muted perfumes like mature Chanel; it made me recoil and think ‘oh, I don’t like this’. However, two minutes later, by magic, a brown sugar, musk and amber emerges, with undeclared vanilla that makes you fall in love the more you smell it. It clings to the nose, a madness you can’t stop smelling. That ‘lady’ is now sexy, mature and elegant. For me, it evolves in the first 15 minutes, settling into a brown sugar, dark vanilla and ambered scent for its 9-10 hours of longevity. It leaves a potent trail that follows you as you walk and people detect you instantly. You can’t stop smelling it, over and over again.

  • A super cosy ambered vanilla. It’s quite close to Vanilla 28, though this one is less sweet. Still, it remains an exquisite vanilla and an excellent alternative to the Kayali version, especially considering the price difference and its good fixative properties. At the price it can be had, there’s no losing!

Just received it; once dry it resembles Vanilla 28, but right now the top note smells very alcoholic. When I’ve had it settle, I’ll write another review. I think those who say it doesn’t smell alike are comparing the freshly opened bottle with the Kayali one that has already macerated. EDITED one week later: I don’t know if it’s an exact clone as I haven’t bought the Kayali, but I’ve tried it and they are almost identical; one would have to test them side by side to see the differences. What I can say for sure is that it smells incredible, has great sillage and longevity. I’ve received countless compliments since I got it.

A fragrance that surprises: warm, enveloping, mature and sexy. It made me appreciate patchouli, which previously felt invasive to me. Here it is perfectly blended with amber and tonka bean, a real treat! It’s a characterful perfume, mature but not in terms of age; a 20-year-old can wear it if they have personality. It’s sensual, aromatic and slightly spicy. I recommend it wholeheartedly. At first spray it might seem unappealing, but then it keeps surprising you more and more. I never thought I’d love these kinds of fragrances; my favourites are Yum Bujee Marshmallow, Valentino Born in Roma and Burberry Her Intense.

A fragrance that surprises for being warm, enveloping, mature and sexy. It’s what made me appreciate patchouli; I never tolerated it and it always felt invasive, but here it is perfectly blended with amber and tonka bean, a real treat! Without a doubt, I’ll repeat, it’s the perfume that made me love patchouli. It has character, it’s mature and we’re not talking about user age, but personality; you can be 20 and wear it perfectly. It’s sensual, warm and very aromatic, even a little ‘spicy’. I recommend it 100%. At the first spray it might seem you don’t like it, but then it keeps surprising you more and more. I never thought I’d love fragrances like this when my favourites are things like Kayali Yum Bujee Marshmallow, Valentino Born in Roma or Burberry Her Intense.

Just received it and dry down smells exactly like Vanilla 28, but right now the top note is hitting me with too much alcohol… I’ll come back to my opinion once it has settled. I think those who say it isn’t identical are comparing the freshly opened bottle with the Kayali one that has already passed. EDITED one week later: I don’t know if it’s an exact clone as I don’t have the original, but I’ve tried it and they are almost identical; one would have to test them side by side to see the differences. What is true is that it smells incredible, has great sillage and lasts a long time. I’ve received a load of compliments since I got it.

  • I own the Kayali Vanilla 28 and this smells almost identical. The only drawback is that the longevity and sillage are minimal; by the hour it’s already clinging to the skin and no further. That said, the Kayali doesn’t last much longer for me, just a bit more than this. Given the price, I’d go for this without a doubt, although I’m not sure if it’s worth buying blindly given its very particular scent.

  • Smells exactly as it says: dark vanilla with brown sugar, very pleasant. As for longevity and sillage, it seems more like a body mist than a perfume, so I wouldn’t recommend buying it.

  • Smells exactly as promised: dark vanilla with brown sugar, very pleasant. However, the longevity and sillage are more akin to a body mist than a proper perfume, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
