I noticed it while reading a review and the notes were all to my liking. When I bought it, it was exactly what I imagined: an explosion of caramel with coffee, and within minutes the dates with vanilla appear. Uff, I loved it. It resembles Khamrah Qahwa very much, a warm, spiced, and very gourmand scent.
I bought it blindly, before it was listed online, guided by the vague description and trust in the brand. It opens with an alcoholic touch, like coffee liqueur, very warm and comforting. Immediately, amongst the coffee beans, dried plums and ripe, syrupy dates emerge. It smells elegant, irresistible in its creaminess. It’s like burying your nose in a huge cup of coffee with vanilla and lots of caramel, a super foamy cappuccino. After a while, with the coffee and vanilla, inevitably the woods and patchouli come out, giving it a refreshing touch. At first, it’s noticeable in a trail of about 50 cm… and after hours it remains on the skin (though it’s not the most intimate, it’s always noticeable from a distance). The amber and vanilla base makes it last for hours, even the next day, especially on clothes. It has an amber note that makes it creamy, palatable, with a velvety and lasting trail. One of those fragrances that doesn’t leave people indifferent. Unisex but more feminine, and I think it suits cold weather better than heat.
It’s an enhanced Qahwa. I adore it. Very rich.
Well, the plum note is far too dominant and almost masks the coffee entirely. Then it smells of honey and lingers, completely overpowering the caramel, the coffee and the cappuccino.
Well, to start, I feel the plum appears too much, so much that the coffee is almost unnoticeable. Then, for some reason, it smells of honey… a scent that doesn’t disappear and hides the caramel, the coffee, and the cappuccino completely.
Summary: A good perfume for 20 euros. Everyone says it resembles Qahwa, and the short answer is: no. It is in the same olfactive family, but nothing more. It has a drier, more bitter opening than Qahwa, which smells of sweet coffee with tonka bean. Caramel Macchiato is literally a macchiato from start to finish, super gourmand. Projection and longevity: good, it doesn’t reach the 12-14 hours of Qahwa, but it lasts a minimum of 8 hours. Smells of coffee, caramel, and sugar. Do not buy blindly thinking it’s the same as Qahwa. Try it to see if it hooks you; it might overwhelm inexperienced noses. Unisex with a slight lean towards feminine. Definitely not for the gym-going alpha male. It doesn’t seem to be a dupe of anything I know, looks like an original creation.
Nothing like it. It starts with a strong hit of black coffee and then gets covered in caramel.
Potent and alcoholic opening, even if it doesn’t say so. It’s sweet and heavy on the dates, but over time the coffee and caramel trail emerge. Could be unisex, but I feel it leans more feminine. 100% winter fragrance. Personally, I didn’t like it; I think it’s for more experienced noses and those over 40.
