Forget what they say about creamy bergamot or lemon… it’s a lie! Don’t take it seriously. This is a proper woody fragrance. Smells like pure essence, felled timber and resin. It reminds me of Encre Noire but without being quite so extreme or unbearable. Projects well and lasts a good while. Ideal for autumn and winter. For the price, it’s a total hit.

This is a proper stinker. If you want to smell like a sophisticated ‘Man’ and not outdated, steering clear of typical personality-less sweets, you’ll enjoy it immensely. 13€ spent in nothing. Excellent performance, long-lasting and decent projection. Not a bomb but it’s noticeable. Elegant without being too formal. My rating: 8.5/10, one of my favourites from Zara.

Zara surprises again with acceptable quality for the price. Here, the sandalwood, the perfume’s namesake, takes a back seat. The protagonist is the leather, mixed with iris and sandalwood, giving a creamy and distinguished touch. An interesting fragrance, elegant, perfect for formal events with a blazer and shirt. Sillage is acceptable and lasts about 12 hours on my skin.
