Well, finally I’ve tried Zara’s trio of molecules. It’s curious how Zara adapts its collections depending on the store and the public, making it hard to find everything listed online without testing. In my store there was only C4shmer4n; I checked five more and found nothing, until I found the full trio in a shopping centre outside. As they are molecules, skin makes a difference, so I tested on skin. C4shmer4n is the best in longevity and projection, very unisex; although personally I don’t like it, it lasted until the next day. Note: they aren’t like the Excentric Molecules. Here there’s a synthetic accord adorned with ingredients; in C4shmer4n it adds macrocyclic musks reminiscent of ambergris, so I’d call it 4mbrox. It’s like a diluted version of Ambre Noble without the wood of Norlimbanol. Sweet top notes of Ambroxan, familiar due to the similarity with Sauvage, but it evolves quickly into a subtle Ambre Noble. It has great longevity but poor projection, staying close to the skin. Cor4nol is the third, and in my opinion, the one that smells best. Pity it doesn’t last long and projects little; that’s why the 50ml price seems high. The Fragrantica notes are accurate: central cardamomo surrounded by cedar and coranol, giving it a rugged touch. The coranol gives life to the linalool but lacks the transparency of iso-e-super found in others, so the wood doesn’t have that luminosity of Terre d’Hermes. Hope this helps you decide. Best regards!
Horrible. Smells like a sweet game stew, with hints of Chinese flan and boiled wool jumper. It’s vanilla, warm and sticky, like a stew made of sweet things with strands of wool. The dry-down is worse: it smells like rice pudding where someone dropped a cashmere scarf, or a winter wardrobe fermented with sweet things. Totally unisex. To make matters worse, the longevity is excellent.

Very nice! Among my top 3 from Zara.
Very nice! It’s among my top 3 from Zara.
Very good: vanilla-based, with tonka bean, soft and classy. Nothing strident, it comes and goes… clean, clear, sweet and sexy. Ideal for a date, cinema or dinner. Very rich, a 9.
I’m not an expert, just someone who enjoys smelling good. I’ve worn this for two days: at first, it’s a sweet bomb that’s slightly alarming, but after 15 minutes it softens and becomes delightful. After an hour, it smells like clean cashmere, like that mum’s jumper that hugs you. It brings to mind a late autumn afternoon with dim light. I tried it in the store, didn’t want to buy, but after enjoying the scent for four hours, I returned the next day and bought it. I’d give it 8 out of 10. Do try wearing it for a full day before deciding.
I’m not an expert, just like to smell good and enjoy those who smell nice. I’ve worn this for two days and here’s my take. At first it’s a sweetness bomb that screams ‘NO THANKS’, but after 15 minutes it matures and becomes soft. The best comes after an hour: it smells like cashmere, clean fabric, wool, that mum’s jumper that hugs you. I can’t describe it, but it takes me to a late autumn afternoon with dim light and clean laundry scents. I tried it in the store without intending to buy, but after enjoying it for four hours, I returned the next day and bought it. I’d give it 8 out of 10. Recommend trying it for a full day before deciding. Best regards, Fanperfumero
Completely agree, especially about the ‘hug from mum’ note. It awakens pure tenderness and that familiar instinct we all have.
