I was curious about the guava and it arrived today. It smells of ripe guava, but with a strong petrol note that’s noticeable all the time. I envy those who only smell the guava, as it would be delicious, but this Awjad is unpleasant from start to finish.
Good heavens, what a perfume. The opening is powerful, brash, and even annoying. The leather is sweet, smelling of very ripe, potent, pink guava. As it dries, the leather fades away, making it more bearable. It projects hugely and feels sweet, juicy, and very fruity.
I received it yesterday and it’s guava jam, like that hard red sweet from Ecuador. It smells exactly like that: very real, delicious, and potent, but too edible to be a perfume, though I love gourmand scents. Smelling of guava jam… I’m not sure. Edit: several days have passed and the scent blended better. The opening is guava with grapefruit, then sweet rose in the dry down, and finally leather without losing the guava. I’m keeping it; it’s addictive and I can’t stop using it. I think it needs a few days to macerate.
Of course, the notes don’t work: it’s a brutal guava with the acidity of a passion fruit. It projects a heart attack. It stays linear, but when it dries down, it smells like petrol and it bothers me. I’m going to let it macerate and try it again later; if it doesn’t work, it’s gone 🙁
To me, it smells like a repeated caramel from Mancera’s Roses Vanille, but with guava. I wouldn’t buy it unless I wanted to overpower others.
This perfume did not suit me. It smells of super-sweet guava, then a leather note kicks in, making it extravagant. Someone who bought it for me says it smells good, perhaps due to their skin, but it gives me a headache. No blind buy for me.
Guava and leather bomb. A risky and different bet, but for me it was a fail. The initial sweet guava gets eclipsed in minutes by a dense, dominant leather that ruins the concept. Dry, it just smells of leather, and I don’t understand Lattafa’s work. If you like guava, it’s not the star here, nor is it a fruity perfume. It has excellent projection and longevity.
I tried it on a tester and loved it: a citrus blend with very energetic sweet guava and longevity of up to six hours. When I bought it and applied it, I felt it was a different perfume. Initially, ripe guava dominated, but later I sensed an animalic note, perhaps the leather. I didn’t notice this on the tester. I hoped maceration would fix it. Edit: time has passed and the leather stopped being the protagonist to integrate better with the guava, which is now more mature and pleasant. On hot days, I’ve loved it.
A guava and leather bomb. Without a doubt a risky and different bet, but in my case it has been a complete fail. Without a doubt, in its first phase it stands out with a sweet and realistic guava, which in a matter of minutes is totally eclipsed by a dense and dominant leather that steals the show and which, to my taste, takes the fragrance to a complete olfactory nonsense. My nose, once this fragrance has dried down, only finds mainly leather and I stop understanding this work of Lattafa completely. If you like guava, be clear that here it’s not the protagonist and it’s not a fruity perfume. For the rest, it’s a perfume with trail and longevity; so if you like the performance, it’s impeccable.
A good fragrance, clearly masculine. The guava and leather are noticeable. It has very good longevity and is quite addictive.
Appearances in perfumery can be deceptive, can’t they? Prejudice based on notes or bottle colour conditions us. This Lattafa Awjad Pink is popular for resembling the famous Oud Maracujá, and the answer is both yes and no. It’s inspired by Crivelli’s, but they aren’t the same: just as Pepsi doesn’t equal Coca-Cola, this lacks the quality of Ambre Narguilé. The opening is a fruity accord with sweet guava, strawberry, and an aquatic pear water sensation, plus the acidity of passion fruit and pink pepper: cheerful and lively. But for the bolder, after the magnolia flower, comes raw, combustible, cold leather with notes of tar, violet, and eraser. The guava’s joy remains in the dry down, softer but present. The development is pleasant though somewhat flat, similar to the original but with less saffron and greasy leather. It’s kinder, juicier, and sweeter, though they converge in the dry down. If you want to try Oud Maracujá, this is a good introduction, NOT A DUPLICATE, but with excellent performance. It requires character: the bottle is pink and colourful, but it doesn’t smell of flowers.
Appearances in perfumery can be deceptive, can’t they? The prejudice of reading notes or seeing the bottle colour conditions us. This Lattafa Awjad Pink (from now on Awjad Pink) became popular for resembling the famous Oud Maracuyá, which I also own. The answer is yes and no. It’s inspired by the Crivelli, but they aren’t the same and the resemblance isn’t close; just as Pepsi doesn’t equal Coca-Cola, or Kilian’s Angel’s Share will never have the quality of Hermès’ Ambre Narguilé. The breakdown is fruity and entertaining: the guava in the opening is well achieved, with that reddish sweetness of strawberries and an aquatic sensation of water pear. Added to the citrus acidity of the passion fruit and pink pepper, it gives a cheerful and lively opening. But for fruit lovers, here begins the thing for the bold. We skip the floral part where the magnolia enlivens the passage between bright fruits and darkness, and suddenly we are shaken by a raw, combustible, and cold leather. It’s a leather heading for tar, with touches of violet leaf, eraser gum, or rubber, like the leathers in Philipp Plein No Limits, only that in Awjad Pink the joy of the guava is perceived almost from start to finish in the base, softer but without getting lost. It’s a tasty development although somewhat flat, very similar to the perfume it’s compared to, but with the difference that the other has lots of saffron, a dirtier and greasier leather supported by cistus and osmanthus, plus the touch of synthetic oud that makes it rougher. Awjad Pink, within its darkness, is kinder: it welcomes us with a different fruit, juicier, sweeter, and less acidic, although when it dries they resemble each other more without being identical. Those with doubts about Oud Maracuyá, this is a good approach, NOT EQUAL, but they are similar proposals with good performance and different from the usual. Yes, you must have character to wear it: the bottle is pink and colourful, but this is nothing like flowers and cheerful scents.
I love it! It’s a citrusy, acidic guava that stays with you from start to finish, revealing a petrol-like leather midway—slightly dirty but nothing difficult. Juicy, full of personality, with a dark base. 9/10.
I initially gave this a miss due to the heavy rose opening, but over time the guava and passion fruit took over. I bought a decant and was blown away: the Arab market shouldn’t be judged by its bottle. It’s youthful euphoria, like a summer of fifteen, yet with a dark leather and pepper undertone that adds depth. A total success.
It comes out with an intense explosion of mango, passion fruit, and very sweet, sweet, cheerful, and effervescent guava. They declare lychees and yes, they are clearly felt a few minutes later, and pink pepper (very in the background). The fruits provide an aquatic sensation, like biting a ripe pear, something astringent on the palate but juicy and delicious. It smells perfectly in all its fruity notes, cheerful and sparkling at 50cm or more. Roses and peonies sprout… and a very soft leather, barely perceptible but there, like in the bottom of a good bag that with use is already ours and has our essence. A citrus note is perceived that makes it very refreshing (they declare pink grapefruit, it could be blood orange too). The perfume smells in all its splendour about 30cm from where I have applied it. Half an hour later, the initial intensity has dropped (which at no point is overwhelming or cloying) and the roses and sweet fruit remain; now I notice the vanilla and the citrus persists. Four hours later, the perfume is still perceived from about 30cm, in all its complexity, but the leather has softened and is detected only at skin level. I think it’s totally feminine, very youthful (not teenage but yes, youthful) with lots of personality and wearable. A true hit.

Fruity floral with a suede base, almost lost beneath the other notes. More unisex, leaning slightly feminine rather than masculine. I don’t know any comparisons, but it’s an accessible and affordable perfume, nothing premium. To me, for several minutes, it smells alcoholic. It’s okay, not essential, but I think it becomes more worthwhile as it dries down. Is it original? I don’t think so; it’s a vibe that doesn’t turn my head and is quite ‘modern’, nothing Arabic, something I could find in other current brands. Performance is correct but doesn’t stand out. I keep insisting: I’ve smelled and own the best hits from Lattafa in my collection, from old launches like Adeeb, Raghba Wood Intense, Oud for Glory, etc. The house seems to have dedicated itself to covering more Western-style scents, but that doesn’t mean they’re all collectible, either for scent or performance.
I see that among the comparisons is ‘French Leather’ by Memo Paris, one of my favourites from the brand. Does anyone know if they’re similar? Or is there any Arabic fragrance or dupe that comes close to Memo’s? You can send me a private message; I’d appreciate it.
100% summer perfume, it has a passionfruit aroma. It’s intense and fresh.

I’ve never spoken ill of a fragrance, but this one worries me. It smells chemical, almost like petrol, with an artificial note that breeds distrust and prevents you from enjoying its fruity-tropical opening. If you can withstand the chemical assault, you reach a fruity and balsamic vanilla base after the petrol atrocity. It could be an attempt to recreate skin, not leather, but skin… what is it? Edit: it smells like shoe cleaner, a car accessories shop, rubber, and boot cleaner with stubborn stains. I wouldn’t even recommend it as a room freshener. It doesn’t smell like skin; it smells like the chemicals used to clean it. I don’t even like it in a car; it smells toxic. The only good thing is the box is lovely and the bottle very pretty.
I’ve never left a review, but this one deserved it for being so bad. At first, there’s juicy, rich guava and lychee, but quickly a synthetic smell like poorly made leather appears. It gave me a migraine. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. It was on my favourites list, but it disappointed me considerably.
I’ve never left a review or anything, but this one deserved it for being bad. At first it comes out with guava and lychee in a very juicy way, extremely rich, but quickly a very synthetic smell comes out, like poorly executed leather. It gave me a migraine. I don’t recommend it at all. I had it on my list of favourites, but the truth is it disappointed me quite a bit.
Smells like burnt hair with peroxide. I’m not sure if my nose is damaged, but it’s a scent I can’t find enjoyable in any way.
The scent is terrible, very linear and intense with guava. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to smell like rotting guava all day.
For those claiming its alikes are Oud Maracujá and Azzure Aoud: check your olfactory system. It’s lightyears away from Oud Maracujá and is not even remotely a dupe of Azzure, which is the best. It smells of plastic and rot; it lacks that animal oud note entirely. It’s a total disaster and a shame in the Lattafa catalogue. If you’re looking for something similar to OM, go straight for FA Azzure Aoud and forget this. Don’t waste even $20 on Pink to Pink.
Smells awful; it’s the worst I’ve tried in the perfumery. There isn’t even a decent opening note. Fortunately, I tested it in a physical Arabic perfume shop and I’m glad I did.
It smells terrible. Of the worst in the perfumery world. There’s no way to grab it, truly. Luckily I tested it in a physical Arab perfumery shop.
I read nothing but bad reviews; perhaps I have bad taste, but for me it was love at first sniff. The opening is pure juicy fruit, with lychee and guava very present. Then a note of fresh, subtle rose appears, fades away, and a leather note comes to the fore, somewhat stinging. When it joins the remaining guava, it can smell synthetic and stinging. I don’t recommend buying it blindly; I think you either love it or hate it. The trail is wide and the scent is very strong. Although it’s juicy fruit, I find it dizzying. I don’t perceive passion fruit; the guava is very strong, like a guava salad, and then the leather appears. To be honest, I liked it a lot, very feminine and different.

I don’t perceive passion fruit, it feels like lots of guava, like a guava tart, and then the leather appears. The truth is I liked it a lot, very feminine and different.
I must say this fragrance is special, if not rare. The first time I smelled it was because I’d bought Ajwad (the red one) for my wife and decided to try its variant. It kicked me: ”What the f*** is this?” I found the smell very strange, even bad. I’d translate it as a mix of guava and the burnt rubber smell a bus leaves when braking hard. But I have to confess it’s a scent I couldn’t forget, that one you don’t know if it’s good or bad but you keep stored away. I thought about it so much that every time I passed the shop I smelled it again, about 5 times, until I finally bought it (max 20 dollars). Basically, it’s guava, leather, and incense. I wear it with Hayaati Gold Elixir, several sprays of Hayaati, and just one of Pink to Pink, and it’s brilliant. I love it. It’s a particular, strong scent, clearly not for everyone. It lasts a long time for me; it’s one of the few I feel constantly. It projects for 2-3 hours and about 8 hours of longevity in my case.
I must say that this fragrance is special, to say the least, rare… The first time I smelled it was because I had bought Ajwad (the red one) for my wife and decided to try its variant. It kicked me in the face and I said: ‘But what the hell is this?’. I found the smell very strange, and even bad. I would translate it as a mixture of guava and the smell of burnt rubber a bus leaves when braking hard. But I have to confess it’s a smell I couldn’t forget, that one you don’t know if it’s good or bad but once stored away it stays; I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So much so that every time I passed the shop I smelled it again, at least five times, until finally I bought it (maximum twenty dollars). Without going into details, it’s basically guava, leather, and incense. I use it together with Hayaati Gold Elixir: several sprays of Hayaati and only one of Pink to Pink, and it’s brutal, I love it. It’s a particular smell, strong, clearly not to everyone’s taste. It lasts me a lot, it’s one of the few perfumes I feel constantly. It projects 2-3 and about eight hours of duration in my case.
I don’t understand the bad reviews. To me, it doesn’t smell like plastic, petrol, burnt, or rotten; and when I wear it, no one tells me it smells like that. Since the bad reviews are the most recent, perhaps the latest batches have something unpleasant or simply need to settle. I bought mine in 2024 and it’s very pleasant. It’s a somewhat green tropical fruity scent with soft florals. It feels cheerful, youthful, summery, not invasive or cloying, with excellent longevity. For me, it was a success. Over time, perhaps the unpleasantness of some batches will correct itself.
This perfume brings back memories: a fragrance with realistic guava and sugary touches. I live near a sweets factory, and this is the smell when cooking the famous guava jam. It’s a particular aroma, not for everyone. In my opinion, it’s more feminine as it tends towards florals, but it’s not a blind buy. Despite sharing that deep, long-lasting base with its sister, the classic Ajwaad, this variation doesn’t smell that similar.
To be honest, I didn’t like it at all.
It’s a rather peculiar and unique scent: sweet, fruity-type with a more bitter base. At first, it might smell unpleasant or off-putting, but over time it turns into something different from any other. It may not be to everyone’s taste. Undoubtedly, it’s one of those perfumes everyone will ask you about, for better or worse.
I’ve just discovered it (and accidentally broke the tester 😭, so the shop will smell like this for weeks…). The leather is just like the Gucci Guilty Absolu: a smell of a tannery, plasticky, almost artificial. I love it! It has a tropical sour-acid counterpoint, like fresh passion fruit juice, a very peculiar combination. I love smelling this, though I’m not sure if I’ll wear it or when. Next time I’ll try it on skin to see if it changes with the heat. So far, I can’t perceive the florals… Perhaps because the tester fell before I could try it on the cardboard and I had to soak it on the floor. Literally soaked, it’s very strong. I think I’ll feel the base notes and development tomorrow.
Uncommon. The opening is super sharp with lots of guava. The grapefruit takes away the sweetness, leaving a very bitter guava that lingers. It has quite an artificial leather note, almost like new shoes. As it dries down, the guava blends with florals and base notes. In the end, there are roses, vanilla, musk, and something more. I don’t detect any pepper at any point. It lasts 8 hours on skin (batch 2024) and over 24 on clothes. It’s tricky: if you don’t like bitter, dry, and creamy scents, it’s not for you. Unisex leaning masculine at first, more feminine at the end. It fades a bit in the cold. To me, it smells like topical dermatological creams (like Macril if you’re from Argentina). Rich, but don’t buy blindly. I wouldn’t recommend it as a first perfume; better for people who want to try something new.
It just smells like goat to everyone else. To me, it’s pure goat. Disgusting. I sold it.
Smells absolutely delicious, though I admit it’s not for everyone. At first, it seemed strange, but now it’s addictive. It reminds me of the vibe of a hotel in the Riviera Maya: tropical yet elegant. The bitter grapefruit note dominates, giving it a *fancy* and unisex feel; it doesn’t feel feminine because of that bitter touch. I love it, I’ve finished the bottle and am already buying another. It’s nostalgic and rich, smelling like the high-value Rosas Bold. Also, I adored the packaging: the bottle is metallic, the cap is large, and it looks extravagant.
