Descripción

Arsenal by Gilles Cantuel is a men's fragrance from the olfactive family. Launched in 1996, this composition features lemon (sour lime), bergamot, galbanum, and mandarin in its top notes. The heart reveals anise, neroli, lavender, and violet leaves, while the base settles on vetiver, woods, and a touch of incense.

  • This was my first perfume and thanks to it I learned to be a lover of fragrances. I love you Arsenal Classic, you are the first and only one who fell in love with me.

  • Heehee, I found the budget version of Fleur du Male. At first it’s citrusy, lasting less than a minute, then the neroli comes out and I like it. It smells powdery, clean, and baby-like. After the neroli fades, violet leaves appear, then vetiver with a bit of incense, and finally incense with sweet woods. It’s an eau de parfum, rare for men, and I don’t know why it’s called Arsenal, alluding to a pomegranate, if it’s not even strong. It’s soft and tender, for young people just starting to discover scents. A daily option if you have unconventional or non-demanding tastes, smells like a little boy, mediocre quality, floral-aromatic.

  • Heehee, I found the budget version of Fleur du Male 🙂 It starts citrusy, lasting less than a minute, then the neroli appears and I like it! It smells powdery, clean, and baby-like heehee. Then the neroli fades and timid violet leaves emerge, followed by vetiver with a touch of incense, and finally incense with sweet woods. It’s an eau de parfum, rare for a men’s presentation, and I don’t know why it’s called Arsenal, alluding to a pomegranate, if it’s not even strong. Rather, it’s soft and tender, for young people just starting to discover scents… In conclusion, a daily option if you have unconventional or non-demanding tastes, a scent where the neroli is the protagonist, smells like a little boy, mediocre quality, floral-aromatic.

  • I tried it on my cousin’s wrist and she said it smelled like Mistolin jasmine, hahaha, but the dry-down reminded her of pink toilet paper 🙁 she went to take a bath because she was disgusted! hahaha, perhaps it’s because it’s synthetic?

  • I bought it blind because I needed something without regrets and it was great value. I’ve been won over. It’s not a niche scent, but it stands out from the ABC you find in a perfumery in 2022, and the packaging is bomb (badun-tss). The phases are noticeable: it starts somewhat alcoholic and very citrusy, more lemony than tangerine, then shifts to a real neroli, nothing fussy, like crushing an unripe flower with your fingers, mixed with sweet lavender and anise. Then it moves to sweet woods with floral. I see it as masculine, unisex, youthful, and complex.

  • Honestly, I bought it to play blind-buy, I needed something without regrets and it was great value. I was surprised. It doesn’t smell niche, but it stands out from the ABC of perfumeries in 2022, plus the packaging is a bomb. The phases are noticeable: an alcoholic and citrusy opening (more lemony than tangerine) that in minutes gives way to a real neroli, nothing fussy, like crushing an unripe flower, with sweet lavender and anise. Then it changes to sweet woods with floral. I see it as masculine, youthful, and complex, a bit unisex.

It was a very good, delicious, attractive, and sexy fragrance; there wasn’t a woman who didn’t give me compliments. The only thing that’s 20% similar is D&G Pour Homme, and I’d stay with Arsenal a thousand times more. It’s a pity it’s no longer available, as there’s no equivalent. It’s hard to describe, but it stood out for its freshness; I perceived sweet woods, something mentholated, and citrusy at the same time. It had good performance, 7-8 hours on skin, days on clothes. DEP Arsenal Grey.

It was a brutal, delicious, and super attractive fragrance; with it, every woman would look at me. It’s only 20% similar to D&G Pour Homme, but I’d choose Arsenal a thousand times over. What a pity it’s no longer available, as nothing replicates it. Hard to define, but it is fresh, with sweet wood, menthol, and citrus notes. Lasts 7 to 8 hours on skin and days on clothes. DEP Arsenal Grey.

  • It’s a citrusy alcohol with floral and masculine notes, a vintage style that fits perfectly today. On my skin it performs well, but it doesn’t last long and leaves no trail. It suits all seasons, though I personally don’t like it in the heat. It’s a Gilles Cantuel model that’s hard to find, but it’s worth it.
