  I bought it blind based on the Fragrantica notes. I love alcoholic notes with tobacco and cedar, so there was no other option. The dry down is exactly as expected: plenty of well-balanced cognac with tobacco, a sophisticated and warm aura. It feels alcoholic with an exquisite pipe tobacco base. The downside is it evaporates quickly; after the blend, a generic cedar emerges and disappears in three hours, or four if we’re generous. In short, a good fragrance that vanishes in a breath. Fortunately, it’s cheap and you can abuse the sprayer without guilt.

  The opening is like the trailer to a mediocre film: it promises action in a minute and hooks you, but the whole film turns out bland. This happens with the fragrance: a spectacular opening, a boozy, intoxicating scent that lasts barely an hour. Then it dilutes, leaving a barely perceptible woody scent with no trace of the captivating opening. It reminds me of Beckham’s Intimately. Another luxury perfume for weekend gym sessions in the mid-morning, so you don’t waste it sweating in the spin class.

  It’s the classic budget-friendly perfume that smells good and makes a great gift; you’ll look good, but it doesn’t last long, which is normal for budget scents. You’ll look good and smell good if you use it. To my nose, it’s a copy of Creed Aventus, sitting somewhere in between Club de Nuit Intense and Zara Vibrant Leather in terms of longevity.

  I bought it for the price and because I read glowing reviews upon release, as if they’d won a prize. To my nose, Creed Aventus smells similar without that pineapple note found in Aventus, and I’d dare say they kept this in mind when creating it. The downside is it fades quickly and lacks longevity, though for the price, fifteen sprays is already a bargain.

  I bought it for the price and because I read great reviews after it won an award. To my nose, Creed Aventus smells similar, minus the pineapple, and I think they took this perfume into account when creating Aventus. The downside is the short longevity and sillage, although for the price, fifteen sprays make it worthwhile.

Ideal for air-conditioned offices where it lasts longer; in my case about four hours, projecting strongly for the first hour. I didn’t finish the bottle because the scent in the bottle distorted over time. Not one to buy blind, but definitely try in a store before spending.

I stopped buying it because the bottle distorted the scent over time. Not one to buy blind, but worth trying in-store first.

  It’s one of those perfumes you have to take to the car to spray outdoors, because IT DOESN’T LAST AT ALL. If you want the scent to remain strong until the end of a date or meeting, you need to apply more. If you fix that issue, it becomes a compliment bomb.

  Sounds unisex and I absolutely love it; it’s refined and I believe it won an award. For me, it lasts six hours or more, which is rare since potent feminine scents usually fade sooner.
