A lovely fragrance that fits into the classic citrus zone, like Acqua di Parma, Ermenegildo Zegna, 4711 Original, Guerlain, and many others.
A very good neroli perfume, in the line of classics like 4711, Neroli Portofino, and so on. It’s neroli with secondary citrus notes and a woody base; for my nose, it’s quite subtle. Perhaps the Banana Republic version is sweeter and more orange, closer to orange blossom than Tom Ford’s, which is more citrusy. I see it as unisex, though that’s a matter of personal taste. The performance isn’t the best; it’s a bit weak, but it smells crisp and avoids excessive white musk. It lasts a couple of hours and is noticeable, which isn’t little. Excellent value for money.
It’s a lovely fragrance that fits into the classic citrus category, in the style of Acqua di Parma, Ermenegildo Zegna, 4711 Original, Guerlain, and many others.
There’s nothing to add; Drake already described it perfectly. The neroli opening is explosive, with a touch of ebony and sandalwood that really stands out. It lasts four hours and then settles close to the skin. Although I love Pure White from this line more, this isn’t bad at all for a spring day or a summer that isn’t too hot. It’s a good fragrance, and in my country (Argentina), the price is very reasonable.
I have nothing more to add; my colleague Drake described it masterfully. The opening is strong with neroli, a touch of ebony, and highlighting the sandalwood. It lasts four hours before dropping to skin scent. Although I prefer Pure White from this line, this isn’t bad at all for a spring day or a summer that isn’t too hot. It’s good and, in my country (Argentina), it’s economical.
Neroli is my favourite note, and seeing it available online prompted me to buy it. I absolutely love it: it’s pure, serene, and unisex, though with a classic, serious touch from the woody base. At first, it reminded me of Sanborns’ Orange Blossom cologne, but more sophisticated, even making me want to try 4711. In the heart, it’s almost pure neroli of good quality—not overly realistic or powdery, which I adore because florals are often perceived as feminine, yet a flower is a flower; it’s beautiful. It smells very clean, like just having a shower, conveying a cheerful serenity and purity. The projection is moderate for the first half-hour before settling into a personal scent; ideal for casual dates in spring or summer. Given its classic vibe, I’d say it suits those over 25 or 30, but it doesn’t smell old; it’s just the tradition of neroli.
Neroli is my favourite note, and when I saw it on an online store in my country, I didn’t hesitate to buy it. I’ve loved it: it’s a fragrance 100% centred on neroli, clean, serene, and totally unisex, although with a classic and serious touch, perhaps due to the woods. At first, it reminded me a lot of that orange blossom cologne sold in shopping centres in Mexico, but with more sophistication; with both, I already had a clear idea of how 4711 smells, that classic cologne aroma I’ve never actually tried. In the dry-down, it’s almost pure neroli; it’s not hyper-realistic but of good quality; it doesn’t smell cheaply feminine or powdery, something I love because I’m annoyed that florals always give that feminine touch. A flower is a flower, a beautiful element of nature that we all can wear. It smells very clean, extra clean, like someone just out of the bath; it conveys cheerful serenity and purity, with that classic and sophisticated air of the woods. The projection is moderate for the first half-hour and then becomes a well-present personal scent; ideal for a casual informal date in summer or spring. For that classic and sophisticated air, I’d say it suits ages from 25 or 30 upwards, but it doesn’t smell old or antique, it’s more about the tradition of neroli.
Neroli Woods by Banana Republic was a blind buy success and I absolutely love it. It smells citrusy, floral, with a touch of wood. Initially, the neroli and orange blossom dominate, though it’s rare for citrus fruits not to be listed in the notes. The florals come through a bit more, but to be honest, outside of the neroli and orange blossom, I can’t quite tell what the other notes smell like. The base is slightly woody, giving it a masculine air, although I believe it’s unisex. In summary, it leaves a sensation of cleanliness and relaxation, ideal for daytime. It’s not unique; it reminds me of other neroli scents like Zegna, but this one is more affordable. It lasts about eight hours, which is sufficient for this style, although the projection is only good for the first hour before it becomes a skin scent. I’d never tried this brand before and I’ve loved it immensely.
I bought Banana Republic’s Neroli Woods blindly based on reviews and absolutely loved it. It smells citrusy, floral, with a woody touch. The opening is floral and citrusy due to the neroli, though there are no actual citrus fruits in the notes. Sometimes the flowers intensify, but outside the neroli and orange blossom, I’m not sure what the other flowers smell like. The base is slightly woody, giving it a masculine air, though I think it’s unisex. In summary, it makes you feel relaxed and clean, ideal for daytime. It’s not unique, resembling other neroli scents like Zegna’s, but this is cheaper. It lasts 8 hours, which is enough for this style. Projection is good for the first hour, then drops to skin scent. I’ve never tried this brand before, but I really liked it.
Truly lovely, but it fades quickly, almost to skin scent. More of a cologne. 7/10.
Does Banana Republic’s Neroli Woods resemble Bvlgari’s? In terms of notes, BR smells more floral with woods, whereas Bvlgari is more woody with a floral touch and strong bergamot at the start. I own the Bvlgari and love that blend.
Smells lovely, not overpowering, and lingers on my skin for quite some time.
Great vibe, lasted 6 or 7 hours, not bad for the price. Here it’s $20, a real bargain for autumn and summer.
