Ambarada, metallic, spicy and smoky. If the story is blood, it’s smoked blood; I perceive it more as sucking on an alkaline battery. It’s curious, but I don’t like it enough. Not for heat, and its performance is lower than what we’re used to at home. Skip it.
What a novelty! That aromatic metallic touch is unique and I love it. Lorenzo Pazzaglia keeps inventing things nobody else thinks of, while others fight to sell citrus or sweet woods. This is very special and I recommend it.

I wasn’t interested in Pazzaglia due to its gourmand and loud side, but in-store they guided me towards its more serious side: this discreet Bloody Smoke. The nose chef cooks up a metallic, ferrous blood that reminds me of a wound, all wrapped in delicious and mysterious incense and resins, with a sweet final touch to make it ‘edible’. It fulfils its name’s promise like Tom Ford’s: dark, gothic, alternative and youthful. Its only flaw is that it’s not as scandalous as his others, but it’s a future favourite.
