  I’m not particularly fond of ‘coffee’ fragrances, but I admit this has a very real coffee aroma, even if it doesn’t fully convince me yet. I think there are better-executed options at more accessible prices, such as Bath & Body Works’ Coffee & Whiskey and Khadlaj’s Caffe Latte.

  For me, this is one of the worst fragrances I’ve tried from Lorenzo. It fails to unlock its potential. You’d expect a creamy coffee with milk, coconut, chocolate, and so on. Instead, it smells like opening a bag of whole beans with a hint of coconut, but dry and not sweet at all. It leans more towards unisex masculine. No big deal, simply not for me.

  Coffeee Passion could be described as an attempt to emulate Theodoros Kalotinis’ Coffee Addict and Jousset parfums’ Le Gourmand, adding coconut and blackcurrant to mask the composition. However, trying to combine these doesn’t achieve their quality. While there are no issues with performance or projection, following the house’s usual line, what you get is a simple, monotonous aroma reminiscent of sugared cut coffee with fleeting initial traces of chocolate. The milky note comes from an uncharacteristic coconut, while vanilla, cedar, and tonka bean merely extend the fragrance’s life slightly. The evolution won’t go beyond this. Unfortunately, we’re faced again with a rushed release and lack of creativity from Lorenzo Pazzaglia’s house, which recently has been launching perfumes generously, like a factory churning out sausages. I’ve tried to find Pazzaglia’s personality in this scent but can’t locate it. As always, I advise not to rely solely on ratings; always test niche perfumes on your skin before buying and don’t trust the dry-down scent alone.
