I bought it blind for two reasons: to smell like ADG without it being the original, and the price ($20). I’ve always been a fan of ADG, but the reformulation and price pushed me away. I’m very happy with my purchase and would totally recommend it. It comes out very similar, although it has a soapy note that I don’t like at first; after ten minutes, it smells wonderful. The melon note distinguishes it slightly from the original (sometimes giving a Polo Blue sensation). In terms of longevity and projection, it’s better than similar clones for double the price. RECOMMENDED.
It’s a well-known formula that always works in aquatic fruity fragrances. The performance isn’t outstanding, but it gets the job done: carrying a pleasant scent for 5-6 hours with about an hour of projection. Then you reapply, and given the price, it’s not unreasonable.
I really like it, although I wish it lasted and projected more. I need 4-5 sprays for it to be noticeable. I recommend it for the early hours of the day or warm climates as an affordable alternative to ADG.
I bought it blind, knowing it was inspired by my signature scent, ADG. Although it’s mass-produced, it always delivers. I’ve tried several clones, and Blue Touch has its own style, perhaps due to the pink pepper or orange. I prefer its soft, pleasant dry-down over other clones that smell of lemon leaf or are too spicy. Given the price, I recommend it; the longevity is good, not excellent, but reapplying every 4-5 hours isn’t painful.
Straight review: I love the scent of traditional ADG, but this has a major issue: the longevity tops out at four to five hours. I bought Blue Touch as a budget option and it turns out to be a bargain, almost identical to the original (no one notices the difference unless they’re an expert) and lasting eight to ten hours. It costs three to four times less and is a steal. If you like ADG, buy Blue Touch and enjoy it without spending too much.
To me, it feels closer to Acqua di Gio Profondo than the original. It’s an extraordinary fragrance with excellent longevity, though slightly synthetic; however, it doesn’t matter.
A synthetic version of ADG with beastly performance. The scent is fresh and exquisite; the synthetic quality is barely noticeable when compared to the original. It lasts six hours projecting and another six on the skin, in my experience.
As an ADG consumer, I was looking for better performance and tried this out of curiosity. Paying €31 on Amazon or €65 at Primor for the original is almost the same. Blue Touch’s projection is synthetic and harsh, whereas ADG is more natural and refined. In the heat, Blue Touch lasts longer, but only for five hours. I prefer ADG even though it fades sooner; I’d recommend looking at other options before settling for a clone.
Reminiscent of ADG and Light Blue without being a clone, with an air of Davidoff Cool Water. The performance is average, nothing extraordinary. For the price, Blue Touch is decent, although Tito Bluni is a better clone (though it also doesn’t last long).
Delicious for hot days, it stands out for its peach and a citrus note that isn’t cloying. Refreshing and rich, ideal if you’re tired of intense sweetness. It’s not a bomb, but it does its job.
Truly, it is one of the best ADG clones. I love this fragrance, and on clothes uffffffff.
To be economical and without great expectations, I was surprised: it has better performance than the reformulated ADG, being an excellent option if you like it. A good workhorse for daily use, it lasts the whole day in the office, and outdoors for about 5-6 hours. Heavy sillage for the first hour, then moderate. It is pleasant and not annoying. Is it worth it? If you like ADG, it is a yes. A 7.7/10.
It is an inspiration of the original Acqua di Gio and clones it quite well, although not with the same quality. The opening is similar, but if you have smelled the original, the difference becomes noticeable later. A thick, vanilla-like scent appears that overshadows the initial freshness and makes it feel cheap. I didn’t use it, I gave it away. The problem is that if you know the originals, your sense of smell will be bothered, but if you haven’t heard them, it will go well for you. You pay what you get, costing up to $15. Performance: average longevity of 3 hours, projects well for the first hour but doesn’t feel refined. Good medium-performance clone. Recommended if you don’t know the originals; not if you do. Regards.
Regards. A blinding citrus slap. Yes, it is synthetic and some may find it annoying. If you apply too much, it can even make your nose sting or give you a headache. Perfect for the heat; it accompanies you for many hours like a personal halo. I recommend few sprays.
After so many reviews, I was eager to try it for the supposed resemblance to Acqua di Gio, but I sensed a hint of Blue Seduction from that melon note. I was wrong: from the start I didn’t like it, I found it very herbal, a strong, heavy and retro citrus, nothing fresh, almost like those old and ugly perfumes. A total disappointment.
I bought it for the resemblance to ADG and the truth is it is similar, but it taught me a lesson in longevity, projection and sillage. Now the original ADG doesn’t last at all and FO BT is a tremendous option. Highly recommended, I will buy again. On my skin it lasts 10 hours and projects quietly for 2.
WOW, there are no other words. It is very similar to ADG and the performance is even better. I wore it yesterday at 13:00 on a mild day and it projected until 15:00, then settled into a personal bubble until 20:00. If you like ADG and don’t want to pay the outrageous prices of today, look no further: spend little (I bought it for under $20) and go with Blue Touch, it won’t disappoint.
Smelling it is like mixing ADG and Polo Blue, two scents that mark my history. Despite a slight synthetic touch, the performance justifies its excellent price, even surpassing my favourite fragrances.
Excellent fragrance, a shameless clone of Aqua di Gio but it works. Yes, next to the original it sounds more synthetic, but nobody is going to compare it. Perfect for the heat with good longevity. If you like citrus, go for it: bargain price, the three Bs, the icon of low cost. The others by Frank Olivier don’t fail either, all within reach of the pocket.
A clone that closely resembles the classic Acqua di Giò but with an extra touch of green melon, perfect for hot days. Beyond being fresh and masculine, its longevity is incredible, lasting 7-8 hours with strong projection at the start. Highly recommended for the low price you pay for the 100ml bottle.
Opening with quite a bit of green melon and an amber base. There’s a small salty touch that gives energy to the melon. Good inspiration for ADG.
This is my first review. I bought this after seeing it was very similar to ADG. The truth is, it seems identical to me, except for that touch of melon at the end which doesn’t bother. I recommend it for ADG fans. I got it for $15 blind and I have no regrets whatsoever.
Smells rich, clean, and summery. Suitable for all ages, but I highly recommend it for hot summers. I applied it at 6am before work and by 3pm, with temperatures at 36 degrees, it reactivated strongly with the melon note coming through. Quite a good and economical perfume. 100% recommended.
Blue Touch by Franck Olivier is a captivating fragrance for men seeking something fresh and sophisticated. It combines vibrant notes to create something distinctive. The opening is an explosion of freshness with citrus and herbs; bergamot and mint blend well to give vitality. That freshness lingers, then lavender and geranium emerge, adding subtle elegance. The vetiver and oakmoss base gives depth and durability without being overwhelming. The bottle is simple yet elegant, with blue liquid evoking freshness. Ideal for those seeking freshness and sophistication, perfect for work or events. Leaves a good impression.
I repurchased this perfume because my previous bottle ran out, but to my surprise, this second bottle has nothing to do with the first… it has almost no projection or longevity, and while the scent is somewhat similar, it also smells different. The first was from the 2016 batch and this one from 2022. Does anyone know if they reformulated it? A pity, truly…
Blue Touch by Franck Olivier is the best Aqua di Gio inspiration but with steroids. Many mention Perry Ellis 360 Red, but it lacks good projection. In contrast, Blue Touch projects for 3 hours, has a trail of a metre, and a longevity well over 6 hours.
Worth it for its Aqua di Gio-like style. Despite being years old and common, it still hits pleasantly. It’s masculine, clean but with personality. It lasts longer than the original, though it’s not a beast: it defends well for the first 2 or 3 hours before settling close to the skin with little projection. Still, for under $15 it’s a gem. I wouldn’t pay more than $35. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 6.5/10, Projection: 7/10. Recommended.
If you own the ADG EDT, this is a 95% clone. The only difference I notice is a hint of melon, but if you blind test it, no one could tell them apart. For the price, it’s a beast; it smells rich and fresh.
An obvious inspiration for the acclaimed Acqua Di Gio. Fresh, ozonic, and super aquatic opening, with a dry-down that feels clean and freshly showered. I prefer it to the original Armani, which doesn’t last as long with the reformulations. Blue Touch lasts 5-6 hours, even if you’re sweating or it’s hot. If you’re looking for something that smells like soap and clean, this is it.
It bears a striking resemblance to ADG, nearly 90% according to me. Initially, the opening is very synthetic and doesn’t quite sit well, but over time the citrus notes open up and it smells fantastic. The projection is good for the price. I bought it at Christmas for $15 and it performed like luxury in the summer. Recommended.
Blue Touch is everything that’s good in life! A fresh and citrusy perfume that lasts and projects very well. Forget about the ADGs, CK One, Azzaro Chrome, etc., which don’t last and smell very little.
Another fragrance that transports me back to the 90s, perhaps because I once smelled it on someone. It happens with Cool Water or Drakkar Noir. This smells almost identical to Acqua di Gio, but the melon touch makes it more appealing and revitalising. I like it, although I have that typical acidic animalistic note of the ADGs here, which is more bearable, probably due to the musk. Although I preferred a soapy musk, that’s what Morillas liked best. That dirty musk creates a love-hate relationship with the original. It doesn’t smell cheap, but you can tell certain ingredients could be better. In 2024 it lasts about six hours on skin. For the price, you can’t complain. Recommended only if you really like ADG and don’t want to keep throwing money away, because if you don’t compare them directly, there are no differences (in my opinion, they improved it with the melon).
It’s the second time in seven years I’ve tested a decant of this fragrance; it’s very faithful to the Armani Acqua di Gio DNA. The curious thing is that the first time it pleasantly surprised me with an unusual quality for its price, but the second time I find it synthetic, with a fruity floral note that can get cloying. This shows that no perfume should be bought on first impression. Compared to Bentley For Men Silverlake, which smells cleaner and more masculine, Blue Touch feels more ozonic and chemical, with that divisive melon note that improves over time. It’s a versatile, cheap, and decent-quality alternative, ideal for a neat and correct day. For demanding users, better to look for Bentley Silverlake or invest in an Acqua di Gio Profondo. Rating: 7/10.
Although it resembles Acqua di Gio, I don’t share the view that Blue Touch surpasses it. To my nose, it’s obvious that it smells very synthetic, even though it has better projection and longevity. I bought it for 350 Mexican pesos, an accessible price that makes me hesitate to recommend it, especially when I enjoy fragrances like Sculpture or Gray Frenel more, despite their synthetic nature.
I’m reluctant to recommend blind buys, but if you’re a fan of the original ADG DNA, I recommend this Blue Touch without hesitation. Identical aroma, better performance, and a third of the price. Low cost 10/10.
Citrus aroma, a clone of Acqua di Gio with 95% similarity. The dry-down is delicious, perfect for summer and spring. I wore it to the gym and it performed very well. The only downside is I haven’t received a single compliment, perhaps because it smells too common or has gone out of fashion. If you like the DNA, you’ll love it. Projection isn’t huge, but for the price and because it’s citrus, you can’t ask for more. Scent 9/10, Projection 6/10, Longevity 8/10, Price 9/10.
For me, it lasts longer than the original Acqua di Gio; very rich and fresh.
What can I say? It’s monumental for the price. A little-known gem with the Acqua di Gio DNA soaked in. As perfumes get reformulated and lose potency without price drops, this is a great alternative with good performance for $20. I let it macerate for two months for summer, and it’s incredible. It has a citrus touch with sour orange (like the yuzu in Issey Miyake but softer), ideal for the heat and fresh after a shower.
An excellent alternative to the classic ADG, and even better. It’s a modernised version of the legendary 90s perfume that solves my needs today. Just to clarify, this isn’t for advanced noses, but for anyone who wants to smell good or is just starting to buy their first perfumes.
That’s exactly it: a summery, classic Acqua di Gio with a herbal and melon opening reminiscent of Antonio Banderas’s Blue Seduction, though this integrates much better. It lasts longer and is more complex too. As it dries down, it takes on a slight scent of Chanel Allure Homme Sport. In short, it’s the perfect gift for my friend, who isn’t an expert but adores these kinds of scents.
