For the price, it’s a very good fragrance. The opening is a bit more synthetic than its dupe, but for everyday use, school, or university, it serves perfectly, especially given the cost.
Smells like the original Acqua di Gio: projects well for the first hour, but then clings to the skin for about three hours. Ideal for sport or at home; I’m not convinced for anything else. If you want to spend a bit more, look for a higher-quality dupe.
This Acqua di Gio dupe surprised me: it doesn’t smell the same, it’s more refreshing and sweet, I like it. Totally for summer. It lasts 4-5 hours with a generous trail. I use it on my body and the original on my neck, resulting in a super fresh and youthful aroma, ideal for the office.
I was surprised by this Acqua di Gio dupe: it doesn’t smell the same, it’s fresher and sweeter, which I like. Totally for summer. It lasts on the skin for about 4-5 hours and its trail is generous. Generally, I layer with Acqua di Gio, but I use this more for the body and the Armani one for the neck, resulting in a super fresh and youthful aroma, ideal for the office.
I’ve had it for a few weeks and just smelling it reminds me of Acqua di Gio; I would say the resemblance is at 90%, although this feels like a fresher, lighter version. They are similar, but together the original feels more marine and ambered, while this is more citrusy and floral. The first hour has good projection, then it leaves a trail close to the skin that lasts about three hours. It’s a scent I really like for everyday use; it’s worth it for the price compared to the original.
I’ve worn this fragrance for weeks and when I smell it I recall Acqua di Gio, 90% similar. However, it feels fresher and lighter than the original, which is more marine and ambered; this is more citrusy and floral. The first hour projects well and then leaves a trail of 3 hours. It’s perfect for everyday wear and worth it for the price.
Maison Alhambra has made good perfumes and this is a very good interpretation. Fixation of 7 hours and powerful projection. Although it uses common ingredients, it’s worth buying because the original is expensive and doesn’t last as long. Girls love it and at this price, don’t think twice. I like it more than Armaf Blue Homme and more than Essenza.
I don’t know the original, but this smells wonderful. I have a weakness for fresh scents and it’s impossible for anyone not to like it. Don’t expect the eighth wonder of the world, but the aroma is very rich.
I own the original and this one from Maison Alhambra: side by side, they are identical, with the only difference being a slight note in the opening. Afterwards, it is a clone of the Armani one. For the price and performance, I wouldn’t hesitate; this Jorgito lasts and projects, I would even say a little better than the original, although that might be in my head. Jorgito wins!
I have the original and this from Maison Alhambra; side by side they are identical, perhaps with a slightly different opening. Then it’s a carbon copy of Armani. For price and performance I won’t think twice: this Jorgito lasts and projects even better than the original. Jorgito wins.
I ventured into an Arabic dupe and was surprised. For $18 I expected anything, but the presentation is nice. At first it smells a bit synthetic, but quickly turns citrusy and summery. It lasts 4-6 hours leaving a Mediterranean trail. It’s clean, ideal for the gym or going out. My family and friends loved it. 4/5.
After taking a few risks, I ventured into an Arabic dupe for the first time. For the price (18 dollars), I expected anything, but from the presentation onwards, I was pleasantly surprised. The opening feels perhaps a bit synthetic, slightly alcoholic, but it quickly transforms into that summery citrus scent that lingers on the skin for 1-2 hours before fading (approx 4-6 hours total). In the dry-down, a light oriental citrus stands out, but that pleasant, well-executed Mediterranean aroma predominates. It seems like a clean fragrance, suitable for the gym or a casual outing. I will continue to test it; perhaps I will grow to like it more, but it brought plenty of compliments. Everyone in my family and friends loved it. 4.0/5.
At Ah Mesón Alambre there are questionable things, but this is surprising. Giving you an Aqua di Gio that smells similar but lasts longer than the original is a gift, especially at the price (a dozen empanadas in Argentina). I put it on at 4:30 and could still smell it at 8:30; it’s already broken the original’s barrier which lasts 3 hours.
At Mesón Alambre, they sometimes do questionable things and other times surprising ones. But giving you an Aqua di Gio that smells similar and lasts longer than the original is something to be grateful for. For the price of a dozen empanadas in Argentina, you get a fantastic daily fragrance for hot days; I’m absolutely surprised. I applied it at 4:30 and I can still smell it at 8:30; it has already broken the original’s barrier of three hours.
It’s a proper stinker for the price and what it lasts. Projection is good and it’s a faithful copy of the original; I give it 10 out of 10.
I have a note that on my skin smells a bit of dampness when it dries, but I think that’s just me. Out of all the ADG dupes, this Perry Ellis is the one that suits me best and I recommend it.
Just finished my old bottle of Aqua di Gio and, finding this one at my parents’ house, I decided to try it. At around £14, it’s a steal. After letting it settle for a month, it caught me off guard: it smells almost identical to the original, even better than some supermarket clones. Longevity is moderate, about 3-4 hours, but at this price, who’s complaining? With JdP, I doubt I’ll spend on the original again.
