Exquisite Privé smells super elegant and is very well-constructed. It’s a refined fragrance with a mature profile that adds class without overdoing it. It’s clearly inspired by Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privé; they aren’t identical, but they’re very similar, especially when dry. At first, unlike the original, I don’t notice much whisky or hazelnut. From the start, the iris takes the lead, it’s the protagonist and stays throughout. The orange and bergamot give a fresh touch, but soft and they fade quickly. At the end, there’s a boozy note, but it gets lost over time. Here it becomes sweet and woody, with a soft and elegant base. The iris remains, though it lowers a bit, leaving something more balanced and easier to wear. That floral and powdery iris always stands out, defining the perfume. On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours; afterwards, it’s almost skin-only, only noticeable if you bring your nose close for a while. Projection is low, like the first hour, and trail is moderate, within your personal bubble. It’s not for grabbing attention, but for enjoying it close by. I see it as ideal for autumn, winter, and fresh spring days. It’s elegant, designed for indoors, quiet dates, or when you don’t want to invade space. If you don’t want to spend the original’s price, it’s worth it, because when dry it resembles Reserve Privé very much and offers a worthy experience for the price. Rating: 8/10.
It clearly tries to be Givenchy Reserve Privé, but it doesn’t quite reach my nose. It lacks that hazelnut note that gives the original its chocolate and whisky touch; here, the whisky is replaced by rum, which smells different and quite alcoholic. It leans more towards the Gentleman line, yes, but not towards Reserve Privé. It could be a flanker, but it’s sold as a clone of something it can’t even come close to, because it’s missing the best of the original. I won’t comment on longevity or trail because I’ll leave it to settle. It’s an acceptable iris fragrance if you’re not looking for an exact clone of the Privé, then it’s worth it, but as a clone, it’s not.
Yes, it’s a direct clone of Givenchy’s Gentleman Reserve Privé. HOWEVER, this one starts straight with the dry-down of the original, skipping the boozy whisky phase and lacking that extra touch of sweetness. Nevertheless, if you like the feel of Reserve Privé and its woody dry-down with iris, hazelnut, and sweetness; this is a winner. I’d add that it has a very slight, barely perceptible citrus note at the beginning; nothing that undermines the main idea, and it fades very quickly. Fragrantica lists rose and violet, but I don’t think it has either. The iris, however, is prominent; cedar and moss are noticeable. The idea of hazelnut, even though it’s not mentioned, is there and very noticeable, just like in the original, well-integrated into the woody sensation. I repeat, if you’re looking for an alternative to Reserve Privé, this is the good one. Head-to-head comparison shows the differences. I own Reserve Privé, a beautiful, complex, deep, and dense composition with development, but it lacks longevity. I bought this Exquisite Privé because I like the dry-down profile of the original and use it daily; I keep the other for special occasions.
I don’t have the original perfume, but this smells very well-crafted in terms of sensation. It even reminds me a lot of Dior Homme Intense because the iris is what stands out the most, although the perfume is a bit linear. Still, it’s a bold aroma that goes completely unnoticed by no one.

If you’re going to review Arabic perfumes or this brand, wait for them to settle. Nearly all of them change projection, longevity, and even the scent once oxygenated. Don’t be impatient or ignorant.
Although I don’t own the original inspiration, the scent is very well-crafted in terms of sensation. It reminds me strongly of Dior Homme Intense due to that standout iris note. Even though it’s slightly linear, it remains a bold fragrance that doesn’t go unnoticed.
