  • Well, newly purchased in Chile, batch 05/25, and it already came with fear of what I was reading; the reformulation did its thing, no beastmode. The scent is very rich and distinct from any other ADN; I will let it macerate, but for now, at thirty minutes on skin, it is already a lot.

Batch 01/2025. To be honest, I bought it blind and it took me time to get used to it; the first few times on blotter it felt odd. It took me days to try it on skin, and I quickly lost the salty notes, giving way to the heart, which I believe has more flowers than Lattafa claims. At first, I felt it didn’t last at all, but with the heat from about thirty days ago, the magic arrived. It is a daytime perfume for the heat; it resisted the sun and winds on the boat; for me, excellent longevity. The scent is enjoyed outdoors; it is subtle but leaves a wake.

  • Atlas is challenging; it is not for buying blind. You may love it or hate it. At first, it was difficult for me, but then my nose asked for more and more. The opening is the most aggressive part, but if you can endure it, it becomes something totally different: like the calm after the storm.

  • I haven’t heard the original Megamare, but among the clones, this is the most carefully presented, without trying to copy the Orto Parisi bottle. It is marine but dark: seaweed and salt, like a cloudy port or a sunken ship. It is not fresh or light, but cloying and heavy, with brutal performance. It’s for outdoors, sunny-less days, and Captain Haddock-style suits. It is the perfume most people regret buying; many, guided by reviewers and the price, buy it blind expecting freshness and end up swallowed by Moby Dick. I let myself be swept away by this tide; it’s fun, and I long to try the original by Gualtieri.

  • There is no more disgusting perfume than this; just smelling it makes me want to vomit. It lasts and projects a lot, pity the scent; I don’t know what makes it repulsive.

  • It doesn’t smell bad but definitely smells odd. My whole family told me it smelled strange. If you buy blind like I did, you can be disappointed. WARNING, this is not a fresh marine scent. On skin, it lasts about six to seven hours; it doesn’t seem like a beast. I hope it improves or some miracle with oxygenation occurs. That’s enough, mdr.

  • I tried it on a humid, mild day. On my skin, it lasted about seven hours with two sprays; at times I couldn’t smell it myself, but people around me could. It smells very peculiar, synthetic, like floor cleaner. Do not buy blind.

  • With this, I quit the Dromedario. I’ve had it for seven months and the scent is piercing; sometimes it smells like ammonia, other times like bleach. There’s something unique and good at the base, but that toxic edge dominates. It lasts a long time and projects unbearably, but if I can’t wear it on myself or others, what’s the point?

  • It arrived last night, batch 05/2025 (I got it for $47 in Argentina, good price). I put two sprays on each arm and the opening pleased me; it is totally different. I bought it blind and luckily I love it. It is hard to describe: it feels heavy and light at the same time, as if there were constant wakes without being a heavy scent. After an hour, I thought it was gone (it fatigued quickly), but today I woke up smelling it with intensity. I showered and with the steam it came back strong. Today I wore another perfume to come to work, and at twelve hours, I still feel it on my arm. Perhaps those for whom it doesn’t last aren’t the original, as I am surprised by its strength. For now, very satisfied; I recommend it for spring and summer, for holidays at the beach at dusk or at night. I don’t think I’d use it in the office; it is very intense.

  • First and foremost, be very careful about buying this blindly. I was able to try it today and it is completely different from anything I’ve heard. It’s not a perfume to please others, but for oneself. Personally, I didn’t like it a bit; I sense nothing but salty notes and it doesn’t even smell like beach or sea.

  • Total perfume bomb, I bought it looking for something challenging and different in my collection and it didn’t disappoint… Trail and projection are very good. As for the aroma, it’s like smelling sea salt with some touches of something I can’t quite distinguish that makes it a bit more pleasant and usable. 10/10. That said, it’s that type of perfume that’s good when you already have several; I would never buy this perfume as my only option or to use it very frequently.

  • I’m here to share an anecdote about its incredible longevity: I received it today, applied it once to my hand to remember the scent and let it macerate for months; I drove with windows open for 30 minutes, spent over an hour in the pool, and even took a bath. After 12 hours, it still smells right up against my skin and the car is impregnated with it. I don’t understand, I’ve never seen anything like this. On the other hand, it’s a matter of hatred and love. I feel it annoys younger people, while those over 30 find it captivating. One of my favourites.

  • Among the clones I’ve tried, this is the one that most resembles Orto Parisi’s Megamare. I bought it from a friend in December 2024, so I think the batch must be from that year or earlier. Just two sprays are enough and you can feel it all day. A beast but very little versatile. I only wore it one hot afternoon at 35 degrees. I’ll give it another opportunity as it sleeps the sleep of the just in my wardrobe. Those looking for a basic marine perfume should buy Davidoff’s Cool Water; this is not a fresh summer perfume at all, it’s quite unusable. Still, I love it; one of the best Arab perfumes I’ve tried, if not the best.

  • The bottle is very pretty for decoration, and that’s it… Whoever buys it for the scent should think twice; it smells very bad. 100% regretted the purchase.

  • Lucio Fragance

It’s a faithful marine storm, very invasive. Don’t buy blindly; the scent is very particular. Those who hate it find it repulsive, while those who love it adore it.

Woooow! I must admit I expected something different from Megamare, but no: this only changes slightly in the opening. It’s incredible and nuclear! Last November, for my birthday, my girlfriend gifted me a set of niche decants that included Megamare. I loved it so much that I almost gave in to the impulse to buy it, but the budget didn’t stretch (I had already bought six other perfumes). However, I hope to acquire it soon. Upon opening the Atlas box, even without spraying, that characteristic and delicious aroma was perceptible, reminding me of Megamare. It blew my mind that, being brand new, it already emitted such a fragrance. The major difference lies in the opening: Megamare opens with salty, warm, and sophisticated wood; it feels rounder and better constructed. Atlas begins with a metallic and salty sensation, almost cold. It gives it a sharper character, but not unpleasant, rather like a unique mariner. In the dry-down, the salty and marine sensation persists, accompanied by green and woody notes that add depth. Ambergris adds a very peculiar sweet touch. It is, simply put, an incredible marine perfume. It lasts a beast, which is why I describe it as nuclear. After 24 hours, you still perceive it, and you’ll even leave your pillow impregnated the next day. The common reason people say they can’t smell it is olfactory fatigue; you stop detecting it, but people around you do feel it, and as you move, you leave a delicious trail. Verdict: 100/10. Do not buy blindly. It is a genuine marine monster. If you use it, try not to take it to the office, as a single drop is enough to fill a room. It’s ideal for beach days or outings in the heat, although you can really use it all year round, even on cold days. No one will smell as good as you!

  • It is the ugliest fragrance I have ever heard in my life, by far. I applied it to my skin and not only is the opening ugly, but the dry-down is too. It literally smells like rotten egg; do not buy it.

  • Initially smells like boiled egg, but it improves later; it’s not overpowering and I don’t sense anything marine.

  • It’s an exquisite fragrance for open spaces, with class and presence. It’s not for people who can’t handle strong scents or wide trails. Lattafa has done a great job.

  • I’ve been keen to try this perfume for some time and finally had the opportunity today. I’m still deciding whether to hate it or adore it. Let it be known that I’m not an expert and will express my thoughts as best I can. I tested it on my skin. Upon first application, it was very unpleasant, and the first thing that came to mind was thanking fate for not buying it blindly, as it was frankly horrible. It’s a citrus, marine scent with a burnt rubber note. Within a few minutes, it began to seem unpleasant yet simultaneously addictive. Around half an hour in, everything changes and it becomes a much more elegant aquatic aroma, retaining a trace of that addictive burnt plastic note. It certainly doesn’t leave one indifferent; after this initial encounter, I think I’ll buy a decant to test how it develops over a full day and how it sits on clothing.

Love at first sniff. I bought it blindly, wary of the divided opinions, but it exceeded my expectations. Fresh and rich, the bottle reflects this. Smells like an old, oxidised diver’s helmet pulled from the seabed (that scent translated into perfume). I expected something more difficult and invasive, but it wasn’t like that; I always respect it and never use many sprays. So far, I don’t feel it’s intrusive, though after wearing it for a few days, I notice it’s there but not constantly; it comes in bursts. I wear it in winter and it works just as well, although it should be better in summer due to its freshness. For aroma and longevity, the price is a bargain. I highly recommend Atlas; you gain far more than you lose; if you don’t get it today, give it time, perhaps you will tomorrow.

  • It smells of interesting, potent chemical salt; I liked it a lot and used it quite a bit. I think I’ll wear it in the shoulder seasons because in summer, when the sun is fierce, it’s impossible: it mixes with sweat, intensifies it, and smells rancid. I wore it, sweated, and then smelled dirty; I wore it to work for a few days and was embarrassed by my own scent, haha. Perhaps for evening wear or when the heat isn’t so oppressive. It’s the only one I’ve tried that blends with me to produce such a poor result. I’ve kept it away, waiting for the right moment, and sometimes sniff it but don’t use it; I haven’t tried it in winter yet, so I’ll give it a chance. One day, while out boating, I decided to act like a sea lion and layered it with Atlas, Wajood, and Náutica, making quite a statement, haha. The value for money is superb; I’ve even seen it for as little as twenty euros out there.

  • At first, it seemed very synthetic, but after letting it rest for two months, it was another world entirely. This happens with almost all Arab fragrances. It’s a turbulent sea with a touch of lemon, very addictive. I detect ambergris (or ambroxan). It lasts a long time and has great projection. It smells different and very cool. Ideal for summer evenings, enjoying a drink on the terrace in a linen shirt.

  • I’m not an expert on perfumes, but Atlas is a life insurance policy: it smells great and lasts a lifetime. I don’t care if it’s been reformulated; the price is fair and it does its job.

  • I read everything about Atlas and tried a 2025 batch. It’s not here to scare anyone; it smells like a schoolchild, gym-goers, or anyone who wants to smell good while buying bread. No dirty sea, algae, or monsters. It’s like a layer of perfumed salt with soft plants and woods. The salty note mixed with a hint of sweetness is very balanced. The key is that it’s ‘Mineral’. It doesn’t shout or project five metres away; with ten sprays, you get bursts of cleanliness that aren’t annoying. The longevity is good and lasts hours. For comparison, Kenzo Homme Intense is much more explosive and beastly.

  • It is a notable fragrance, but definitely not suitable for everyone or to buy without trying. It has niche character, outstanding longevity, and good projection. In my case, it smells of an old wooden pier soaked in algae. Its main drawback is the lack of versatility; I do not see it for evenings, work, or romantic dates. It is perfect for a hot summer day by the coast, in a relaxed environment. It must be tried at least once.

  • First day of use and I do not understand why they say it is difficult. It is literally a factory of compliments. I see nothing challenging; the ambroxan is noticeable and the best thing is that it smells a thousand times better on skin than dry. It will be my fragrance for social encounters in the heat. I think it is totally unisex, it has a floral point that reinforces that idea.

  • I don’t understand the fuss about calling it ‘bold’. To me, it seems adorable. I sprayed it four times and from 6 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., even after showering, it still smelled fantastic. I haven’t tested it on anyone else, so I don’t know how it smells to others, but for me, it’s a blind buy; I’ve never hated a perfume.

  • Surely you have seen it is a 1 to 1 dupe of Megamare or a full summer fragrance. I went with those expectations for something fresh and long-lasting in 40 degrees, but when they sprayed me with two sprays, what a bad smell: rotten egg both in the opening and dry. I gave it a chance, thinking it would be different dry, but after 30 minutes it smelled the same, and after two hours it did not evolve either. I tried it in a perfumery in Santiago; after bathing it was still the same, something rancid. Perhaps the perfume was old and oxidised badly, but personally I do not see anyone wearing it unless you want to drive everyone away. 0/10. A couple of weeks later I wanted another chance and received the same: a smell of something in a bad state that lasts hours, even after bathing and sleeping I felt it the next day and on the clothes. It has good projection and longevity; it lasted four days on a shirt I only wear at home. I asked a relative and he only said it smelled like perfume. Perhaps it is my pH. Days later: this wea lasts as four days on a house garment, with immense longevity.

  • Unlike the reviews, for me it is difficult to wear. The opening is a hit of Calone that smells of ink, but when it dries down it is very accomplished, clean, and deep with a citrus touch that makes it pleasant and fulfilling. The performance is impeccable and very long-lasting, although it does not project as much as I expected; I have only been told it smells clean. It resembles Megamare but is not identical; it is as if you had diluted it. I was a little disappointed, but for 30 dollars it is a lower price than what it offers. That tingly Calone opening makes it difficult to wear, although if you are outdoors it could work. Curious: once I put it on my arms, I sat with my girlfriend and rested my arms on my legs. Three days later, I wore those trousers to work and felt bursts of an incredible aroma: the Atlas soaked into the fabric projecting from my groin to my nose. I recommend it for layering; I combined it with Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes from Zara and boosted that fragrance enormously.

  • Literally the perfume with the longest-lasting sillage and projection I’ve tried in years. Absolutely bonkers. I didn’t realise such things were still being made; everything these days lasts three hours or less. A really excellent fragrance, salty/marine with a very cool vibe. I love it hugely. A fantastic discovery 🙂

  • I tried it in-store and did not buy it, but on the jacket where it touched, it is still noticeable after two weeks. It is very potent, but I do not find those wild references of rust or algae. It has a particular smell in the opening and first hour, probably an ingredient from Lattafa that is also in Dynasty, which at the start ‘masks’ the fragrance. I do not know if that ingredient fades over time.

  • The scent makes me think of highly concentrated ink. An ultra-synthetic, confusing aroma that overwhelms the senses. No hint of sea or salt. If you want the concept this perfume is supposedly meant to convey, try Le Sel D’Issey instead.

  • I tested it on skin and paper, and within a week I’ll be buying it for around £30. Watch out: you need to try a decant or test it in-store, as it smells aquatic, salty and citrusy straight from the spray. After five minutes the floral notes kick in, but the saltiness is quite sharp and irritating until around ten minutes when it settles, allowing the floral and aquatic facets to shine. The longevity is phenomenal: it lasted three days on my wrist. Even though the scent is subtle, it was noticeable all day, easily ticking over 12 hours without fail. The projection is also incredible; a single spray on paper flooded my room and I could even smell it in the hallway; that paper still smelled two weeks later. I don’t even want to know how it performs on clothes. 9/10, its only drawback is that it’s a polarising scent, both for the wearer and for those around them.

  • Batch 2025 review: First, it is a different fragrance, not very challenging, but not for everyone. The opening is not annoying but not my favourite; when it dries down it is salty, floral, and woody, I feel burnt wood that I do not dislike, but it is different from a commercial fragrance. Am I the only one who notices that burnt wood? I also feel a slight sweetness that rounds the composition and does not cloy. I am not clear when to use it, but I liked it during the day; I want to try it at the gym and outdoors. It is very mineral and different; if you do not have the fear of standing out, it is for you. I do not see it for the office or dates, be careful. It does not go the way of an ADG Profondo or a Milesime Imperial from Creed, nor of sweet salty commercial fragrances. With a trained nose and confidence it can be recommended, but nothing formal or very close. I would describe it as wild; the dry down is the best.

  • Although it can be risky, for me it is delicious. It lasts forever, even after a shower. It smells of spring and summer, an intense ocean with waves and moss on the stones. It is captivating for its immensity and close as the coastline, a charming place.

  • Ocean yes, beach no. Imagining a sunny beach with sunbathers and a breeze is a mistake. Atlas is deep, turbulent, and salty ocean. It is like a cloudy, windy sunset walking among mossy rocks. It is the captain of a taciturn ship looking at the horizon, standing at the bow swaying in the immensity, with no land in sight. Do not buy blindly; this is different from any green liquid you have ever smelled. It is the most beastly, projecting, and long-lasting fragrance I know (use a small amount). 100% masculine, rough, and authentic. Difficult to wear for any nose, but if you dare to dive deep, a treasure awaits in 55 ml that is worth every drop.

  • A fresh standard for daytime use, nothing more and nothing less, but once it dries down it becomes incredible: it smells of the sea with a touch of salt that elevates it.

  • RoosterMoretti

I bought it two years ago due to the hype of Megamare. Upon trying it, I was disillusioned (a work colleague, who knows nothing about perfumes, fell in love with it so much that I sold it). When I used it, it flooded the room with a heavy scent; I noticed citrus-sweet nuances that I didn’t feel on my skin. Five months later, I bought it again to give it another chance. I let it breathe for a while and used it again, but I still don’t like it. Up close, it smells of Calone (that thing some say smells like egg), but from a distance and after hours, it is more pleasant. It is not for daily use, but it is very long-lasting; I have worn it for four hours and it is still in my trail. A bittersweet review, such is perfumery.
