  • I read it smells better than the original; it’s similar but much improved. I haven’t tried it yet, but it has received better reviews than the classic version, so I’ll definitely buy it. Note: I’ve now tried it and it is true that it smells the same as the original; I detect no difference, only that it’s softer and the bottle is more feminine. I’ll stick with the original Can Can.

  • I’ve just bought it and I like it: a soft scent, a little sweet but not overpowering. Ideal if you prefer soft, slightly sweet perfumes, plus it’s good value. Edit: I think it’s better than the original.

I work in perfumery and have tried both Can-Can scents: they smell identical, with the first being slightly more intense than the Burlesque. It’s the same fragrance, just a different box and name—pure marketing.

It smells very much like the original, but it is much fruitier, which I think makes it better. At first, it smells of caramel and raspberry. It’s my favourite from Paris. It smells delicious; it lasted a long time on blotting paper, similar to Prada Candy and Juicy Couture but much cheaper. I couldn’t stop smelling it.

  • Agreeing with others, it’s similar to Can Can, but this one became stronger and very cloying on me.

  • It’s similar to the Can Can, only that this one has a touch of raspberry in my opinion; I prefer this over the traditional Can Can.

  • It’s similar to Can Can, but this one has a raspberry note. I like this one more than the traditional version.

  • It’s my daily perfume, very floral with a fruity touch. The only thing I didn’t like was that it lasted incredibly little; I had to apply it a thousand times and there was no sillage. Edit: after months, I think the sillage is now medium and the longevity is good; perhaps it was olfactory fatigue. I’m already on my second bottle.

Paris Hilton rarely disappoints with fragrances; from the bottles to the scent, they’re always wonderful. Can Can Burlesque is similar to the Can Can, but with its own personal stamp: fruitier, less musky, and more fruity—I love it.

I didn’t like it at all; it was too cloying on my skin. It has excellent fixation and longevity. It smells nice at first, but over the hours it becomes very woody and powdery.

The opening smells like raspberry sweets, very sweet. As it settles, it remains sweet but much softer. I like it, although it doesn’t last long and has a light sillage. I recommend it for daily use.

  • KARENESTRADA07

Definitely similar to Can Can but a bit sweeter. It doesn’t last as long as the original on me, and the sillage is moderate, but I love it for daily wear.

  • I picked this up because it came in a kit with cream and gel. It’s an exquisite scent; on my skin, it leaves a fresh opening with sweet, fruity musk undertones. The fixation is good; it’s the kind of perfume you don’t need to reapply during the day.

It’s like raspberries wrapped in sweet, soft notes; that’s how I’d define this perfume that surprised me from Paris Hilton. I haven’t tried the original Can Can; people say it’s very similar, but for me, there’s no doubt the inspiration is Britney Spears’ Fantasy, which surpasses this in quality (I don’t know if the same will happen with the original). That doesn’t mean I don’t like it; I’ve loved it and hope to buy the traditional Can Can soon to see how similar they are. CCB has a youthful style but I think it’s a mistake to pigeonhole it only for teenagers. I think it’s a good perfume for the day, although I see it as more informal. The longevity and trail are moderate.

  • Sweet and soft, nothing overwhelming unless you overapply it. Ultimately, the woody and floral notes take over. The longevity is excellent and the sillage moderate. I bought it based on the good reviews and it delivers on price. Recommended.

  • It feels too dense for my skin. I thought I was over-applying and reduced the amount, but it didn’t work. It overwhelms me; I like sweet scents but this one is cloying and makes me feel sick. I remember it and it still makes my stomach turn. It smells very synthetic and eventually only the woody notes remain. It has good fixative qualities but is very oily on the skin.

Some say it’s like the traditional Can Can, but I’d say the difference is that this one is sweet and fruity, whereas the original is just sweet. I love the bottle; it smells like raspberry caramel with cream. I wear it all the time, the trail is good and it lasts eight hours. You don’t need to apply much because it can overwhelm those who don’t love gourmand scents. From my side, it’s a 100% recommendation.

  • It’s like adding more sugar to the syrup, bravo! The Can Can was already my favourite, and with this extra sweetness… wow, it’s pornography for my diabetic nostrils.

  • From my perspective, this was like adding extra sugar to the syrup. Bravo! The Can Can was already one of my favourites, and with this extra touch of sweetness, wow… pornography for my diabetic nostrils!

  • I adore this flanker; it gives the Can Can a fruitier twist. The raspberry is very noticeable and gives it a different vibe from the original. The trail and longevity are excellent; you’ll never go unnoticed.

  • Smells like sweet mango to me, even though it doesn’t list that note. It’s sweet and fruity but not cloying. I find it feminine and a bit childish. The trail and longevity are moderate, but if you apply it more generously, the projection improves.

  • It’s very similar to the classic Can Can, keeping the DNA but this one isn’t so sugary, nor so talc-heavy or so wintry. To be honest, I like it a lot and I plan to buy the body mist. The raspberry is super dominant here, super tasty for dates and night outs.

  • It sounds very similar to the classic Can Can: it has the DNA but isn’t so sugary, powdery, or wintery. I love it and I’m going to buy the body mist. The raspberry really shines through here, super tasty for going out at night.

  • I bought it because of the pheromone hype, hehe. I can’t wear it on its own; I have to mix it with something citrusy to balance it out. The scent is fun and people like it.

  • Smells like raspberry with cream, a delightful sweetness that isn’t cloying. It’s perfectly balanced and lasts about five hours on the skin. Highly recommended.

  • It’s quite sweet to my taste, but a very pleasant sweet. It makes its presence felt just enough; I sense the raspberry as the star, a sweet raspberry with cream, a delicious aroma. It lasts on skin for about five hours, well worth a try.

  • A pleasant fragrance for sweet lovers; I bought it blind based on reviews, and the only thing that disappointed me is the durability, as Classic Can Can lasts longer and is more noticeable to others. I use it every day now, and if it runs out, I’ll definitely buy another, but this time in a set to combine with the gel and cream. It’s a very wearable perfume.

  • A sweet and pleasant aroma, but nothing special; I don’t love it, just like it. The worst part is the longevity; it doesn’t last an hour. I used a 10ml decant and had to spray many times to smell it; it finished super quickly because it lasts nothing. It should cost a third of what it does.

  • I didn’t like it. Although the traditional Can Can was a perfume I adored in my teens, this one is extremely synthetic and too powdery. I’ll definitely stick with the original Can Can. I don’t see this perfume as youthful at all; it feels childish. It gives me the impression of using a pharmacy body mist. Its longevity is moderate, as is its trail; on my skin, it lasted around five to six hours.

  • I was looking for a raspberry scent and Burlesque delivers… it’s the only note I detect from start to finish (a sigh). It’s been a disappointment; although it has the raspberry, it’s very insipid and has poor performance. I can barely smell it after half an hour, even being generous. The trail is extremely low; you have to be within 30cm to detect it. I don’t recommend buying blind, not because it’s powerful, but to avoid wasting money. Even though it’s affordable, check the performance. (And don’t even mention the pheromones, as I see none). I use it as a body mist and won’t repurchase once finished.

  • I didn’t like it. Although I loved traditional Can Can in my teens, this smells very synthetic and powdery. I’ll stick with the original. It doesn’t feel youthful to me, but rather childish. It gives me the sensation of wearing a pharmacy body mist. Longevity and projection are moderate; it lasted about 5-6 hours on my skin.

  • Smells of raspberry all the way through with the Can Can base. The first time I thought it was the original, but trying both side by side, the difference is clear. Burlesque is delicious.

  • What a pity; I bought Burlesque to switch things up, knowing they smell similar. The scent isn’t bad, but the longevity is poor, lasting less than three hours. I’ll use it up and never buy it again. Classic Can Can remains the best and I must return it to my collection. Not recommended.

  • What a lovely scent! At first, it reminded me of the original Can Can, but then the juicy, slightly acidic raspberry really shines through, with a touch of caramelised notes. I adore sweet perfumes, and this is a 10. I only have the body mist and I’m surprised it projects moderately and lasts several hours. 10/10, I’d consider buying the full perfume.

  • Watch out, don’t wear this on a plane; people aren’t to blame if you start smelling like a fairground cross-dresser. It gives me a headache and makes me feel sick. Absolute rubbish.

  • A fresher take on Can Can, very linear with that sharp raspberry note and the classic base. It doesn’t bother anyone, except for nostalgics who prefer smelling of old nightclubs and frustration. (wink) 👇
