One of my favourite perfumes, half wanting to take the place of my signature scent. A feminine, tender, sweet scent that is reminiscent of childhood stages: do you want to smell like a well-behaved girl? Use Meow. The fragrance is hard to find in original form but easily cloned. I consider its price not too high for the amount you get; 100ml seems feasible. The difficulty is finding an original; I had to acquire it on Fragrance.net so I had to pay extra for international shipping. What does it smell like to me? Like baby powder; outstanding for the vanilla and pear, an admirable combination, it doesn’t remind me of any other fragrance, which is good because it seems very unique. Powdery, of course, but in this perfume vanilla plays an important role, because it’s not the typical vanilla, it’s a very light, soft one… barely perceptible to the nose, contrasted with some white floral notes, such as gardenia and jasmine. I don’t perceive the tuberose (a plus for me as that note and I don’t get along very well). Certainly, Meow’s longevity isn’t the most prolonged, but its sweet and addictive aroma compensates for it; I wish there was a body mist of this fragrance so I could reapply it again and again. I would buy it many times. If you have any doubts, message me on Instagram @suffo__cation
Very disappointing… The perfume gives that slightly vanilla sweetness. But it’s so soft it really doesn’t last long after application. The very affordable price was 24 US dollars. Its longevity on the skin is truly poor; I’d say it lasts about half an hour, and its fixative is very weak.
One of the fragrances with the worst longevity I’ve had. The scent is like caramelised pear, but really its fixation leaves much to be desired…
It smells super sweet and vanillaised; the trail is moderate and the longevity is low on me. Super sweet and creamy 🥰🍬
A lovely perfume for days when you want to smell like a tasty sponge cake. 💕💕💕
First, I tried the dupe of Fraiche and loved it; everyone asked what perfume it was and said it smelled nice, but when I bought the original, it gave me a quite different scent, even a bit more citrusy than I expected. It didn’t last at all and didn’t resemble the Fraiche version. After a while, I stopped wearing it and wanted to change to something similar; to this day, I’m still looking 🥹 several years have passed and I’ll buy the dupe again to see how it goes.
It lasts a very long time and has an excellent trail. I use it when I’m going to be somewhere with air conditioning or in cool weather, and it’s scrumptious. Despite the packaging, it doesn’t feel childish. The vanilla is very noticeable; I think it’s the main note, and although it doesn’t have whipped cream, it smells exactly like it. It’s scrumptious and worth having if you like sweet scents.
It’s a delight! I’m amazed at how sweet a perfume can be and how it transports you to the idea of a dessert without you knowing which one. To me, it’s an intoxicating and addictive scent; I always want to catch that attractive aroma. If you prefer florals and fresh scents, don’t buy this one, because it smells like vanilla ice cream with custard and whipped cream on top. A real treat.
The opening on my skin was cloying; I thought it was peach, then sweeter and I thought it was honey; I imagine those were the floral notes I couldn’t identify. But the dry down was delicious—an exquisite, intoxicating, and seductive vanilla. The issue is I’m not sure I want to go through all those previous, truly cloying notes to reach the vanilla ecstasy at the end. It felt very feminine and pleasant, though the first moments reminded me of Mad Love. However, if you like sweet, floral perfumes with personality, you might love Meow. Don’t buy it blindly.
I gifted this to my wife for its lovely pear note and incredibly low price. Honestly, it smells delicious—sweet like a pear dessert, very tasty. It gives me a slightly plastic or synthetic impression at first, but given the price, I do recommend it.
Deliciously rich perfume. I, who hate pear as a fruit, find it tastes delicious in this one. Its softness is what most attracts me; it’s not the typical cloying, synthetic celebrity perfume, it’s perfect for daily wear.
The first Katy Perry perfume I had, I bought it solely for the bottle and because they said it smelled of vanilla. Now it seems more synthetic to me, but I can’t help remembering its sweet touch affectionately, between the pear (which I’ve loved in perfumes since then and am delighted Ariana Grande uses) and its vanilla combined with orange blossom. My only complaint is the zero longevity and that it required reapplying 2 or 3 times a day, which led me to buy it several times, although happily because it’s a beauty, until I stopped acquiring it. Ideal for young girls or lovers of sweet and vanilla perfumes that bring moments of joy and warm sensations.
At first, I detected a detergent smell; I have one with a pear and apple scent that smelled like that to me. But the dry down! Ohhhhhh it’s a sweet pear that becomes even sweeter and super soft. Marvellous! It doesn’t leave much of a trail, but you can feel it on the skin and clothes until the next day, and by then I no longer notice that detergent projection at the start. It’s very tasty and quite good for the price!
A lovely perfume for a teenager, ideal for gifting. It doesn’t project much, it’s for daily wear. Scent: 6/10, Longevity: 4 hours on skin, Trail: 5/10. Would I buy it again? Yes, although I could go without it for several months. Packaging: It’s the best, very cute.
A perfume I had at 15 and loved for being very sweet and vanilla. I adored the bottle. It was a gift and I used it alongside my beloved Fantasy by Britney Spears. Its main drawback was the zero longevity; the first half-hour was unbearable due to how sweet it was, then it would fade away. That sweet pear brings me back to memory now that I use Thank U, Next. I recommend it for young girls or teenagers who like gourmand scents or sweet and vanilla perfumes; a perfect blind buy.
It’s a lovely perfume, sweet and youthful. At first, I notice the pear, and as it dries, the vanilla with a marshmallow aroma. Initially, it didn’t last long, but over time its projection and longevity have improved. I love the bottle.
I had high expectations, but on me it lasts almost nothing; it’s a weak trail like a splash. It smells sweet and floral; if you detect vanilla, it’s subtle, and the gardenia is barely noticeable. I don’t perceive the pear as such, I feel it more floral than fruity. It’s moderately priced, I recommend it if you’re looking for something economical, but it has a lot of alcohol, so keep that in mind if you have sensitive skin.
It’s a soft perfume, ideal for girls. The trail is minimal, but the packaging is beautiful. It smells sweet, vanilla, fruity, and floral, very pleasant and delicate.
Very tasty, whenever I used it in my adolescence people told me it smelled like a cupcake, haha. The downside is that it’s almost imperceptible and doesn’t last on the skin; it’s like a body splash, but it’s perfect for girls or teenagers 🙂
Interestingly, Purr is exactly what I expected: sweet and fresh. As it dries, it sometimes smells like cotton candy, but the opening is very fresh, almost aquatic. I can’t quite define the opening, but it’s juicy and refreshing, a bit like a cleaning product, whereas the dry down vibrates with caramel or juicy fruit and sugar. It’s not citrusy or heavy, so it suits any occasion, although its longevity is intimate, around 3 or 4 hours. I adore the bottle and use it at work when I’m not sure what to wear. Lovely, innocent, and good value.
I love it; I’ve been wearing it since I was 20. To me, it’s a gourmand. The vanilla and fruit notes remind me of marshmallows, and the boldness of toasted sugar. At 34, I have two bottles; it’s always in my collection. I adore the packaging and believe it has many facets—it suits all ages because its base is elegant, its opening youthful but not childish. To cut to the chase, it’s one of the few that hasn’t been badly reformulated, and for its price, it’s a beast.
Delicious, soft, calm, and interesting scent. I wear it at the office; it’s noticeable only when people come close and I always receive compliments. It doesn’t last long and its trail is weak.
Like Lataffa Yara, poor longevity.
Sweeter than Purr; I like the vanilla but it’s not my favourite. The bottle is prettier and stands out. It has excellent value and is ideal for children or young people for daily wear. I’d buy it again until it runs out.
It’s very similar to Sweet Like Candy and both fail on longevity, but Meow is much more economical.
I love it. It reminds me of Yara for its creaminess but is bolder, only more floral. It’s exquisite.
A hit on windy or cold days with just a few sprays. You need to let it oxidise to tame that sweetness. Be careful with the sprays; it’s best for open spaces, winter, or evenings. In the shop I thought my girlfriend would wear it, but at home I find it cloying, which is why I prefer Purr. Perhaps it improves with better weather.
The opening smells of sweet orange; I can’t detect the vanilla as before until it fades. Once it settles, it smells like rose soap 🙁
A super versatile aroma, perfect for both cold and warm weather. Although it’s vanilla and floral, it’s very subtle and personal; at first it smells strongly of pear, but as it dries down, it becomes a fresh, super feminine vanilla. It lasts days on clothes.
My most recent purchase, I saw this perfume was selling very well a few years ago and now I understand why, it’s a sweet scent like candies, nothing intrusive to the nose, very soft, tender, delicate. The downside is it doesn’t last me even an hour and the trail is skin-deep. Wish it had better performance.
The absolute top pick, a tempting dessert scent that never disappoints and is priced for everyone. Ideal for the young, but if you’re older and want to treat yourself, go ahead—I certainly do. 10/10.
Smells like custard with some white flowers underneath and juicy touches of pear and orange to balance it, a tender and delicate scent. Perfect for starting in the world of perfumes.
I love it with my life. Youthful, floral, sweet, makes me feel clean. I don’t find it cloying. I wanted it for the bottle but the scent won me over. Unfortunately it doesn’t last long and the trail is small.
It’s sweet but not cloying. Perfect for any occasion, a 10/10.
Smells very nice and sweet. However, it feels synthetic and lasts very little on my skin. Very youthful. 7/10.
I’ve owned several bottles of this fragrance and let’s be honest, celebrity scents usually have the best longevity. It’s sweet, fruity and musky, perhaps a bit youthful but suits all ages. On my skin I can really detect the pear, vanilla and musk. Its scent isn’t common, it’s sweet but not overpowering. As I said, it’s one of the best celebrity perfumes because its longevity is incredible. I’ve received many compliments from both men and women. Without a doubt, the best celebrity perfume.
The first thing I notice is the sweetness of the vanilla and the fruity notes. It’s a fragrance for morning or afternoon, unlike ‘Purr’, which would be for late afternoon or evening.
I’ve wanted this for ages, just because of the reviews, haha. When I first tried it I thought it wasn’t what I expected and didn’t like it much, but over the days I felt it differently: vanilla-sweet and soft, perfect for everyday wear. The downside is it doesn’t last nearly long enough, about two hours, it lasts longer on clothes. Have to reapply frequently.
Very nice but slightly childish. I used the whole bottle and I think it’s more for starting an adolescent or girl’s collection, not because of the sweetness but the type of scent, like Avon perfumes or supermarket body mists. It’s comfortable but it’s the definition of a commercial fragrance.
Smells like pear or orange but actually tastes like strawberry shortcake with cream – nothing like what I expected.
