Searching for reviews about the notes of this perfume on the internet… I found some results that I hope provide more data about this old fragrance… in one review it’s catalogued as a typical very green, chypre with white floral notes and honey, slightly spiced…
Louis Philippe Monaco had many more known fragrances in the 80s such as L.Philippe pour Homme, Patrichs, Patrichs Noir, Terra, Air, L’uomo, Clyo Rouge, Cora kiss, Cora Moon, Cora Sun, Béret, Revival, etc… I even bought the rights to another male fragrance also known in the 80s called Otelo which was manufactured by another company called 3C MILANO…
My teenage fragrance and I still keep a new bottle, it is Herbal, fresh with a very rich floral touch and I remember it lasted a long time; I wore it to secondary school, it brings me very good memories.
To this day, I regret not paying it the attention it deserved and not keeping a bottle. I had it in a small format between 20 and 30 ml which was stylish in the 80s. Back then, it didn’t seem youthful and I didn’t use it for fear of smelling like a ‘middle-aged lady’. If it didn’t smell like Farala or a ‘pretty girl’ perfume, well, no, hey… If I could travel back in time, I’d go back to that moment and give my teenage self a good slap. It had nothing of a ‘middle-aged lady’ perfume and had so much class. I remember it as delicate and with an unusual refinement among the EDTs of the time. It was greenish, although above all floral and ambered. I recall a citrus and green opening, white flowers among which I swear the magnolia stood out, and amber and possibly musk at the base. It sat between Revlon’s Jontue and Bourjois’ Kobako, being the latter with which I find greater similarity. My congratulations and my healthiest envy to those of you who still own it. Take good care of it because you have a little gem.
My teenage fragrance. I loved it because I didn’t smell of strawberries or jasmine like my friends; I smelled different, like a woman in love, according to their television commercial. My dad bought it for me when I turned 15 and it was the best gift for my party. It was a green white floral, fresh, but with a lasting trail on skin and clothes. I adored it.
It was an affordable perfume with an excellent scent, unfortunately it’s no longer available and the commercial was very passionate and romantic. I remember it was a white floral with something herbal.
I’ve been searching for this fragrance for thirty years, back when I was a young girl. It was sold in any department store like Chedraui and was so rich and fresh. I remember it had a green rose, my favourite. I can’t recall until now that I started looking for it, what a pity, I can’t find the notes it carries.
