I don’t understand why they stopped making it; it was so lovely. The bottle is very elegant.

  • It smells of soap. Not bad, but to me, it smells of soap. The first spray is strong, but it fades quickly, leaving a very subtle soapy scent.

  • Cléa is a soapy classic with character, without distinguishing specific notes. I wear it when I want to smell clean but with a touch of sophistication. It’s not my favourite perfume, but it’s an all-rounder for any occasion, unless I want to stand out with something seductive. It reminds me of Chanel No. 5, but very far away. I think it might please more people than Chanel because it’s softer and lacks those prominent aldehydes. It has excellent longevity, nothing to envy from an EDP, and a moderate sillage that isn’t intrusive. Scent 6/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 8/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy it again? Perhaps.

  • EtherealFlora

Pure nostalgia and olfactory memory. Cléa is super personal; it takes me back to my early childhood, to a time I barely remember. Somewhere in the house there is an empty bottle that brings those times back, times that will never return. It was my mother’s perfume; when I was little, I admired that beautiful bottle. I remember it as slightly sweet with an amber touch, which then evolves into fresh notes, like soap, just as other reviews say. From the smell of the bottle kept for over twenty years: sweet and floral opening, fresh dry-down. A beautiful classic that should return.
