  It’s an oriental gourmand with notes of wood, flowers, and herbs, plus a citrus touch. It suits me perfectly for evening wear. The trail is moderate but clings well to the skin, and the longevity is quite good.

  Malle created this fragrance for a famous designer. It’s an oriental base of sandalwood and vanilla, very creamy, almost like a milkshake, which doesn’t evolve much and can feel a bit one-dimensional due to its uniformity. In the dry down, woods and musks accompany the strong sandalwood, cleansing it and adding a sober touch that gives it soul. I like it because it feels elegant, refined, unique, and even avant-garde. The scent is excellent, the blend original, the projection moderate, and the longevity outstanding; it works well on cool days and also at night, where it truly shines. Rating: 8

  A bespoke creation by Malle for a great designer. It’s a super-creamy, almost whipped, sandalwood-vanilla oriental base with little evolution that could be boring due to its monochromatic nature, yet it has a woody and musky base that complements that powerful sandalwood, lending cleanliness and sobriety to the scent’s soul. I love it because it wears elegantly, refined, distinctive and even avant-garde. It smells great, the blend is original, the projection is moderate and the longevity is excellent, ideal for fresh days and also for evening wear to show off its full splendour. Rating: 8

  What an exquisite perfume! I tried it today and it really smells wonderful. It’s very creamy, woody, with a hint of sweetness, all combined with a slightly dirty base that makes it addictive for me. The longevity isn’t bad, though on my skin it hasn’t performed particularly well; it’s more average. The trail is very moderate, almost low. Perhaps it’s this lacklustre performance combined with a high price that stops me from buying it, despite it being a rich and very different scent from the others I own. Still, I recommend everyone to try it. Scent: 10, Longevity: 7, Sillage: 5, Value for money: 5, Versatility: 8, Overall: 8.

  What an exquisite fragrance! I’ve been testing it today and the scent is truly lovely. It’s a very creamy, woody perfume with a touch of sweetness, all set against a slightly dirty base that makes it genuinely addictive for me. As for longevity, it’s not bad, though on my skin it hasn’t performed particularly well, sitting rather average; the sillage is quite moderate, even leaning towards low. Perhaps it’s the combination of the unexceptional performance and the rather high price that means, despite it being a rich, wonderfully unique scent compared to everything else in my collection, I don’t currently plan to buy it. That said, I recommend everyone tries it!!! Scent: 10 Longevity: 7 Sillage: 5 Value for money: 5 Versatility: 8 Overall: 8
