  I really liked its sweet-salty combination, although I’m not a fan of watermelon, so for me it’s neither here nor there, hehe. If it had been fig, I would have claimed this fragrance as my own. It’s not bad at all for hot seasons. Note: in the olfactory pyramid, instead of listing fruity notes, you could specify watermelon, or keep fruity notes but include watermelon as well.

  It’s midday, sitting on a lichen-covered rock at a river’s mouth where it meets the sea, eating watermelon while gazing at the blue horizon with a forest behind me. That image comes to mind every time I wear this perfume. First, I detect salty, marine notes and a sweet, juicy watermelon; underneath, a moss with a hint of vetiver and a pool of soft musk. Longevity is around four hours, with a moderate trail for the first hour before fading close to the skin. On clothes, it can last up to six hours. I like it.

  I stumbled upon this in a country house bathroom without knowing the brand. I sprayed it on and thought, ‘Wow, what a wonder.’ Fresh watermelon notes with marine salinity, citrus touches, and vetiver that ties it all together. Absolutely delicious; it lasted five hours in the heat, and I could smell the trail on my arm. Later, I found out it’s Oriflame, discontinued because it’s too mass-market. What a punch that gave to my prejudices! I’ll be looking for and buying it.
