  A musky fougère, a book fougère very similar to MDCI’s Invasion Barbare and Dusita’s Issara, soft and balanced, with no sharp edges or superfluous notes, well-made and delicious. What makes it unique is the musk: if you add three musks to IB, you get this, or five to Issara. For fougère lovers, it must be tried. The musk makes it more unisex, though it remains leaning masculine, as any good fougère should. It gives the sensation of being inside a bubble that persists for over 9–10 hours, truly tenacious yet not intrusive. Projection is good and lasts a long time thanks to that full-on musk. For me, it’s suitable almost all year round; in the intermediate seasons above all, and it also works brilliantly in winter due to its musky character. In summer, however, in my opinion it’s excessive; I’ve never felt like wearing it because it can become tiring and overwhelming.

  What a fragrance, far more classic than the Colosseum. It opens green, citrusy and spicy; within minutes it settles into lavender, geranium and vetiver over a creamy musk base. There’s nothing flashy under the sun, but the scent is fantastic, possessing everything collectors seek in a fougère. It wears linearly, a true old-school straight razor and talcum barbershop. Highly versatile, perfect to wear whenever you like without excuses, whether formal, semi-formal or casual, it suits everything and is pure delight. Completely masculine, with moderate sillage and projection, lasting eight hours on my skin with six sprays – a luxury as a signature. Scent: 10/10 Sillage: 8/10 Projection: 8.5/10 Longevity: 8/10
