Gravitas has an aspect I adore and another that disappoints me. Olfactorily, it’s a jewel: a blend of Opium Pour Homme with Milano Cento EDP to create something interesting and far from the common. Everything is brilliant, save for the fact that as an extrait, I found it underpowered and less dense than anticipated. It’s not like the quality problems of others, but it shows. It leans more towards autumn/winter than spring. If the intention was to avoid being invasive, they succeeded. Now that Bon Viveur has launched for summer, I’m curious to see how its longevity fares. Verdict: 5-6 hours longevity, medium-soft projection, fragrance score 9/10, value for money 6/10 (would improve if it lasted longer, given it’s not budget-friendly).

Everything is great, except that as an extrait, I found the projection lacking and it felt less dense than expected. It’s not like the quality issues seen with others, but it’s noticeable. It suits me more for autumn/winter than spring. If the aim was to be non-invasive, they’ve achieved it. Now that Bon Viveur has arrived for summer, I’m dying to know its longevity.
