  • Energizer is undoubtedly my star discovery of 2022. Its handling of citrus is brilliant and surprising when combined with a well-crafted vetiver. It opens with a wave of grapefruit that adds a vital bitterness, mixed with bitter petit grain and a neroli that, though undeclared, is right on the surface. Alongside sweeter lime and orange, it dries down to a clean, musky base on the skin that blends perfectly with that green, bitter vetiver—discreet yet powerful. It is unisex, ideal for heat and any outfit, with a longevity of around six hours, which is incredible for such a citrusy profile with few resins. Moderate-to-high price for something so revisited in perfumery. If you are looking for a citrus scent different from the usual, try it without hesitation.

  • OMG! 🤯 It is simply the best citrus bottle I have ever smelled. A realistic explosion that seems to float magically in the air. It is a marvel that I do not understand why it is not talked about more. And let it be known that it is from 2008! 😳 For citrus lovers 🍊, I recommend you try it at least because it is quite a spectacle 😍.

  • OMG! 🤯 Simply the best citrus perfume 💯 I have ever smelled. It has become my bottle of choice. It is an explosion of citrus with incredible realism. The magic is in the air, in how it floats and feels. It is a wonder that I don’t know why it isn’t talked about more. It’s from 2008 😳. Citrus lovers 🍊 I recommend you at least try it because it is a spectacle 😍

  • I tried this perfume a few weeks ago and didn’t like it. Then, caught in the fever for Energizer, I tried it again and it remains the same. The bottle is pretty, it lasts a long time, and projects well, but I simply didn’t like it. From the first spray, it smells very synthetic and bitter, with no evolution. It reminds me of floor cleaner or soap, with that aggressive freshness that cleans up for others but throws me off. For the price, I expected more nuances or a distinctive signature, but it smells generic and soulless, like something from a cheap designer line. I admit it might suit many as a versatile and potent scent, but not for me. I believe the price is far above what it offers. Try before you buy.

  • I tried it a few weeks ago and did not like it. Then, with the fever for Energizer, I tried it again and… it has not changed at all! The bottle is pretty and the performance is above average; it projects and lasts a very long time. But personally, it still is not for me. From the first spray, it smells very synthetic, with a strong bitterness that does not evolve well. It reminds me of the smell of floor cleaner or dishwasher detergent. It has that aggressive, soapy freshness that others find clean, but it unsettles me. Furthermore, for the price, I expected more nuances or a more distinctive signature; it smells quite generic, soulless, as if I had smelled it in several cheaper designer scents. I recognise that it may be what many people are looking for: versatile, powerful, and easy to wear. In summary, it is not for me, but it has its audience. What I do believe is that the price is well above what it offers. Try before you buy.

Not even the best citrus from Boadicea The Victorious can escape the scrutiny of floor-washing experts… Good heavens! I understand why some enthusiasts view freshness as simple or lacking art, because true art is complex, not a four-note melody. For those brave souls writing without fear of ridicule, I have two recommendations: stop suffering and leave these reviews for those of us who truly enjoy fresh scents. And please, if you can swear without blushing that Energizer (an ode to the most natural citrus I’ve ever smelled) smells like dish soap, share the brand so we can buy a bucket.
