  • Honestly, a bit disappointed with this launch. A wonderful opening that makes you want to grab the bottle and throw it, but better wait. The first minutes smell quite green tangerine peel, like the Sicilian variety with leaves, a bit green and with many seeds. Then there’s a marked mint at the start, and afterwards I notice a juicy part that seems like blood orange. Then comes the dry-down, and to my taste, it loses its shine and becomes a generic, typical designer fresh fragrance. Mind you, it still smells very well, but it’s an expensive niche perfume. A boring and common dry-down that, after that brilliant opening, has left me with a face like that famous Catalan woman fifteen seconds after declaring independence. What a pity. Still, I’m convinced many people will like it, because it’s not a bad scent, quite the opposite, just too generic for what it costs.

  • Just a first impression, but I almost certainly wouldn’t buy it. You can detect the acidity of the green citrus and a bit of mint, but I can’t help thinking it has molecules that take away its naturalness. I don’t know if I’m obsessed with the term, but it’s what I almost always perceive. The longevity isn’t high, but it’s noticeable enough for a while, typical of citrus scents.

  • Excellent opening, very fresh and citrusy. You can tell the quality of the ingredients. As with all citrus perfumes, the longevity isn’t long, but it’s worth it.

  • Brilliant opening, super fresh and citrusy. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality. As it’s citrus, it doesn’t last long, but it’s worth it.

  • It’s pure tangerine. Fleeting, shy, introverted. It smells like compliments, perhaps like your mother or a pregnant woman craving vitamin C. But only if you bump into it, because it has no projection. A bloodhound would never track you following the trail of this overpriced juice.

  • Basically tangerine. Fleeting and shy. Compliments will come from your mum or some pregnant woman craving vitamin C, but only if they bump into you, because it doesn’t project. A bloodhound would never track you following the trail of this overrated juice.

The opening is incredible—the best part. Citrusy, bright tangerine, freshly sprayed it’s a refreshing energy boost with luminous citrus and a mint that makes it even fresher. Gradually, the tangerine becomes juicy over a marked musk base that suggests soapy cleanliness. The dry-down doesn’t stand out; it loses some charm though it still smells nice. As an ADP, price and longevity aren’t its strong points, but I’ve enjoyed it. Perfect for extreme daytime heat to refresh yourself with elegance. It makes me feel good. It lasts about 3–4 hours with moderate projection, is unisex, and suitable for any occasion. Perhaps I wouldn’t buy a bottle due to the price and lack of originality, but it does what it sets out to do well. ADP doesn’t fail here.

The opening is incredible, the best part. Citrusy, bright tangerine, fresh out of the bottle it’s a shot of energy, refreshing, with luminous citrus supported by mint that makes it even fresher. It starts citrusy and green, gradually the tangerine becomes juicier with a marked musk base to denote soapy cleanliness. This dry-down doesn’t stand out; being a good fragrance, it loses charm at the end but still smells nice. As it’s AdP, price and performance aren’t their strong points, yet I’ve enjoyed it. Spray it on those extreme heat days during the day to refresh yourself with elegance. It makes me feel good. Performance is fair, 3/4 hours, moderate projection, unisex and suitable for all occasions. Perhaps I wouldn’t buy a bottle due to the price and because it’s nothing different, but it does what it sets out to do so well. In this case, AdP doesn’t fail.

Let’s go step by step: first, you must love tangerine in scent, colour, and taste, because you will smell like that, and it’s better if you feel like a walking tangerine (I adore it, I’m wearing it now). Second, it doesn’t project much, but on a hot 30-degree day under the sun, it kept me smelling good and fresh; that test is passed. Third, the dry-down is even more enjoyable: simple elegance and cleanliness from ADP, without being the classic one that sometimes feels old-fashioned; this dry-down is more modern and slightly sweeter. Fourth, I’m a man and I wear it without issues. I enjoy the tangerine scent and it suits me. It might seem generic, but the quality shows. I agree that niche houses charge a lot for what others do at a fraction of the price, but at ADP there’s a savoir-faire I haven’t heard in other houses, a real style and not just hype-chasing adventure. It’s so well made that, although I hated citrus, I bought the bottle and fell in love. A citrus like this, if I’m wearing it. It’s not original, but it smells too good. It lasts quite a while on my skin.

Let’s take it step by step: first, you must love tangerine in every sense—scent, colour, flavour… because you will smell like that, and it’s better if you feel like a walking tangerine (I adore it, I’m wearing it now). Second, it doesn’t project much, but on a hot day it kept me fresh and composed despite 30 degrees under the sun. That test it passed. Third, the dry-down is the most enjoyable part: Acqua di Parma DNA, understated elegance and cleanliness, without smelling like boring classics. It’s more modern, a touch sweeter. Fourth, I’m a man and I wear it without issues. It suits me. It may seem generic, BUT the quality shows. I usually criticise hype and say that niche brands charge too much for what others do cheaper. That’s true. But at AdP there’s a savoir-faire I haven’t smelled in other houses, a real style. They go for what they do and it’s well made. It’s so well made that I, who hated citrus, bought the bottle because I fell in love. A citrus like this, if I’m wearing it. It’s not original, but jeez, it smells too good. It lasts quite a while on my skin.

  • This is the perfume that got me the quickest comment, and it wasn’t entirely positive: ‘You smell like toothpaste.’ I asked my brother, and he confirmed it smelled like basic three-colour toothpaste. I don’t know why, but it seems to recall some dental product. So far, it hasn’t earned me a single compliment, not even from someone who usually says I smell good.

  • Tangerine in all its glory: if you don’t love the fruit, this isn’t for you. It’s one of the few citrus fragrances that lasts eight hours on skin and clothes. It opens bright and green, but the green fades away to leave pure tangerine peel. It doesn’t evolve, nor is it annoying; perfect for the office or extreme heat. It’s super original and offers performance that few citrus scents can match.

Smells exactly like tangerine, no more, no less. No evolution, no nuances—just pure tangerine. It lasts quite a while for an ADP citrus and is now in my collection; I like it, but I haven’t found the right occasion to wear it yet.
