It’s a leather with immense personality, shocking due to the clash between the roughness and bright herbal notes. Pure niche aroma, designed to stand out. If you don’t want to spend a fortune, try the 761 from Esenzzia; in my experience, it’s 95% identical. For me, it’s a total find: if you’re looking for an all-day scent that smells like nothing else on the market, this is your option. Interestingly, despite being potent, that herbal element makes it versatile, though in heat you need to control when you wear it. It won’t suit everyone; it requires character. For me, it’s addictive; I can’t stop smelling it on my skin.

A fragrance that doesn’t please the majority but I absolutely love it. The opening smells like contact glue, but afterwards it settles into a unique and strange aroma that I am passionate about.

Smells like pure chemicals and seized powdered substances of Colombian origin… I will never buy it. I had the chance to try it via a split and it simply didn’t convince me.

It’s driven me mad… what a heavy thing I’ve just tried. It reminds me (not by similarity, but by my taste) of Interlude. Both share that smoky-balsamic vibe. If you love Interlude, you’ll almost certainly like this. They’ve said it’s not for everyone, and they’re right. I also don’t know when or where to wear it, but I’d do it in full winter or a cold, rainy autumn. It’s atypical; it doesn’t seem difficult, but that herbal slap does complicate things a bit. Personally, I love it, but I wouldn’t buy it as I see its use as limited. It has quality, it’s distinct, and very long-lasting, though it can be overwhelming.

A very interesting and very ‘Complex’ fragrance. This jewel from Boadicea is not for everyone, so buying it blind is risky. ➡ It’s a tough and very herbaceous leather. Potent with great performance. It’s not green, but herbal. Personally, I don’t like this style, although I appreciate its existence. If you like aromas like Red Leather by Parfums de Marly, Rhinoceros by Zoologist (original formula), and mainly herbal perfumes, you need to smell it.

Someone said this potion is for going down to hell and having sex with Satan. True???. I have a 100ml and it is truly ‘complex’. Not suitable for the majority; you need to educate your nose. Personally, I haven’t found the right moment or occasion to wear it, although smelling it on my partner provokes a savagely attractive sensation. Edit: After months, I assure you it is incredibly unique. I don’t see it for all contexts or for everyone, but it is wonderfully addictive. There is also Complex 20/20, with a similar scent but less wild and more usable daily.

I’ve really liked this perfume. It’s a wild, rough leather with quite a temper. A difficult fragrance that won’t suit everyone, but if you’re one of those who loves leather, spices, and resins in an atomic version, you’ll adore it. It has a lovely eighties vibe, but it’s not for anyone. A punchy aroma for people who know what they want; the rest should abstain. The opening is slightly fresher due to the sage and basil, but nothing summery; rather docile than what comes after. From the first sniff, there’s the leather, but folded by the basil and sage, with a slight balsamic reflection from resins. Gradually, the leather feels more intense, accompanied by oud and incense, making the aroma incredibly intense, balsamic, smoky, medicinal, and very spiced, giving a sensation of rustic, old leather but of very high quality. It could be literally the smell of leather sacks for loading spices on camels. The aroma evolves, but that spiced sensation doesn’t disappear, becoming warmer, resinous, toasted, and incense-like, where the leather remains the protagonist alongside a slight animal touch that rounds off a beautiful leather. Fortunately for those who enjoy these aromas, the performance is very good, exceeding 10 hours on my skin with a wonderful trail for almost the entire development. A nocturnal perfume for cold or fresh climates. Intense and not for everyone, but if you like these aromas, you must try it. Although the price is high, it’s not as exaggerated as other niches I’ve tried, and in comparison, I think it’s worth every penny.

Complex is a leather scent with a very singular and somewhat ‘strange’ aroma. The opening is fresh due to the citrus and basil, but the leather base is already intense. Then the sage takes centre stage, giving a very marked herbal touch to the resins and leather, which becomes dense, balsamic, and with slightly medicinal facets (at this stage it smells odd, nothing unpleasant but not pretty either). From mid-to-end, the incense adds smoky, toasted nuances over the leather, oud, and an animalic musk that ends up original. Medium-high quality, but with an excess of synthetics; longevity and sillage are good. It smells 80s but updated. The leather-oud-incense combo is good, but that ‘medicine’ touch doesn’t convince me.
