I absolutely love the smell of apple feet
I absolutely love the apple wood scent
For me, someone with a fairly promiscuous sense of smell, I’m always drawn to trying perfumes that are unconventional. But Malvés hooks me instantly, whispering into my ear a nearly incipient declaration of love that leaves me speechless. It has everything to appeal to me: a resin-drenched sweet apple, amber and smoky, making me feel trapped in this spell. It’s a seductive blend of acidic woody notes (vetiver and cedar) and smoky, spiced, sweet ones (with a fine sandalwood and vanilla), like a liquor mixed with pipe tobacco and cigar. Another perfume that relaxes me incredibly, spreading a caress of dry, soft sweetness over my restlessness, minimally balsamic-creamy, warm and calming. I love incense whenever other notes capture and dominate it in a contrasting way. It seems to be in total silence, without shouting or pushing. Perfect for autumn and winter, when after a rainy, grey day the path leads you home to the fireplace. A crackling fire in silence welcomes you; you reconnect with the earth, healed with joy and eager to spend hours in romantic, cosy company. When the amber ignites small flames that illuminate the most hidden corners, an inner well-being is created if you surrender to this composition; literally, you open your senses and soul: at some point it reminds me of an improved Ambre Fétiche, no easy task. Very good work and a possible future purchase, in my case.
