Insurrection II Dark smells of soft spices with a very noticeable touch of delicate pepper and tobacco. The drydown mixes those spices with dry citrus in the style of Viktor & Rolf’s Spice Bomb but lighter. The truth is its longevity and sillage are very poor compared to the original which is a lot to say haha. The nice thing is the two-tone bottle with that metallic ribbon and the double-layered red box lined with black velvet; it’s beautiful for gifting or collecting. At first glance it looks like an exotic powerhouse but it’s ‘all facade and little substance’. Its sibling Insurrection II Pure smells better lasts longer and has better sillage. The good news is at $25 it’s very accessible so we can’t be too demanding can we? In the end it works as an aftershave for home or the office with heavy application; you get about four hours of correct clean slightly spiced scent. Don’t even think about going to a party; it will go completely unnoticed.

Guys this is a beast; it smells like nothing I know pure incredible niche.
Gentlemen this is incredible I can’t see any resemblance to anything else; it’s a brutal niche perfume.
