Descripción
Legend Intense by Montblanc is an aromatic fougère fragrance for men. Launched in 2013, this composition was created by Olivier Pescheux. The top notes unfold with pineapple and bergamot; the heart reveals red apple, cardamom, clove and jasmine; while the base notes settle on tonka bean, white cedar extract, amber and oakmoss.

“OH FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE!” The opening is citrusy (bergamot and pineapple) over a woody base with amber. If you’re new to perfumes, you might like it. But if you have experience with niche or designer scents, this Intense version is a right pig’s ear. It’s a citrus scent that vanishes in minutes, leaving a dry trail that reminded me of Adolfo Domínguez’s Bamboo when it dries down. I feel it’s a luxury version of catalogue perfumes (like Avon, Natura, Antonio Banderas). For the price, it’s a rip-off. I can’t understand why spend $75 on something totally generic when you can get the same for $20. I wear it casually and at night; it suits any season (avoiding extreme heat). +18 years. Longevity? I don’t know and I don’t care.
I saw reviews in English that made me think I might like it. It’s citrusy, but with a half-hearted summer vibe. To be honest, it didn’t convince me, even though I absolutely love citrus scents. Furthermore, the longevity is nowhere near as intense as promised; it smells like a catalogue fragrance, very similar to Yambal or L’Bel, and especially to Osadia by Yambal, which gives me a headache, but this is softer. In short, it’s not a bad perfume, but I don’t think it’s worth the money.
I like it but I don’t love it. Its opening is very bad, leaving an alcohol scent, nothing of delicious notes, that for a few minutes, later citrus scents are felt that I liked a lot… but that’s it. To be an ‘intense’, it’s very soft, its longevity is short and its trail minimal, not much different from its normal version. At this moment 6 hours have passed since I applied it and I feel it very soft pressing my nose to my wrist. A disappointment this perfume; I like MB Legend in its normal version but it doesn’t have much trail or longevity, I thought this, being an intense version, would be better, but it wasn’t like that.
I like it but I don’t love it. The opening is terrible, it smells like pure alcohol, nothing delicious at the start. After a few minutes, the citrus notes I liked so much become noticeable, but that’s where it stops. To be an “Intense”, it’s very soft; the longevity is short and the trail minimal, nothing different from the normal version. I’ve worn it for about 6 hours and I can barely smell it if I press my nose to my wrist. What a disappointment. I like the normal Legend, but it doesn’t have much trail or longevity either. I thought this Intense version would be better, but it wasn’t.
‘Pineapple caramel’ It’s sad to see so much bad reputation for this perfume when I bought it myself, hehe, but anyway I’ll try to give my review. I’m only just entering the world of fragrances (I’m 16 and my addiction started at 13), but I’ll say it’s one of my 3 favourite fragrances. The opening notes are quite fresh and alcoholised but only for a moment, afterwards it stabilises letting the sweet pineapple scent emerge, quite sweet, and this phase reminds me of these pineapple popsicles with Chile (piñalocas) and then it stays with an apple and leather scent (I detect leather in the composition) with a cedar accord. The notes aren’t very complex but in all this its longevity is incredible. It lasts all day from when I go to school until I get home and take off my shirt soaked with the scent. It’s a very good fragrance, it’s true they sell it like gold but you shouldn’t be so strict and give this fragrance a chance; I’ll tell you it’s the favourite of many of my friends and they always ask me what perfume I’m wearing, so take note 😉
It smells good to me, it’s an intense, strong fruity scent and it makes itself known. I was gifted it some time ago. While it’s not one of my favourites by any means, it’s not bad. Scent 6/10, versatility 7/10, longevity 6/10, trail 8/10.
I found no substantial differences between Legend Intense and the original version, perhaps a bit more weight in the sweet notes, but nothing else. Like its regular version, its scent is very pleasant; that fruity combination with a classic fern accord is a formula that never fails. Ideal for those who don’t want originality, but just to smell good. Regarding the price, I don’t think it’s as expensive as other designer fragrances; in fact, it can be found at a very accessible price. The other drawback, besides the originality I see in this version, is that it doesn’t do justice to the name ‘Intense’, like many current fragrances with that nickname, as it, like its regular version, hardly lasts more than 6 hours on the skin. Advantages I do find: pleasant scent, accessible price, and multi-season use.
Good morning, I wanted to review the Montblanc Legend Intense. First, the opening invades with a strong presence of pineapple, pineapple and bergamot, I think with an amber fixative note. But from there it fades and I can’t clearly smell the other ingredients. This is the main problem with the Legend Intense. It’s the most it reaches with this EDP. Please, don’t put “Intense” because it confuses people. I bought it based on magazine reviews and smelling the opening seemed good to me. From there it’s all downhill. Longevity: short, on my skin 1 hour. Trail: even shorter. It could be due to my pH, I won’t deny it, but for the price and the manufacturer’s reputation, one deserves much more. It’s my humble opinion and I hope no one gets angry. I won’t buy it again. What a pity after the good reviews I had read. Goodbye Legend Intense.
Good morning, I wanted to make a small review of Montblanc Legend Intense. At the opening it invades with a strong presence of pineapple, pineapple and bergamot, I think also with amber for the fixative. But from here on it fades and I can’t smell the other ingredients clearly. This is the big problem with Legend Intense. It’s the most this EDP reaches. Please don’t call it Intense, it confuses people. I bought it based on magazine reviews and on smelling the opening I thought it was good, but from there on it’s all downhill. Short longevity, on my skin 1 hour, trail even shorter. It could be due to my pH, but for the price and the manufacturer’s fame, I think one deserves much more. It’s my humble opinion and I hope no one gets angry. Won’t buy it again, a pity after the good reviews. Bye Legend Intense.
I can’t break down the notes. I’ll just say it’s a grand perfume if you fancy having the memory of those wonderful, deified ladies who wander the Stradivarious and whom you’ll never touch again, as it smells really similar. It’s not my case; I prefer not to think about it, lol. It performs well.
I’m only just getting into fragrances. I don’t know what the adjective ‘INTENSE’ refers to, I suppose it’s just the price. A strong and pleasant pineapple opening that disappears in minutes, leaving only a skin scent. After a few hours it smells ‘dirty’ or rancid. For a moment I thought it was a counterfeit; the longevity and trail are deplorable. It’s the weakest eau de toilette I’ve tried. I only think it was stored badly; I can’t explain how people say it lasts long. It smells like Axe deodorant and much stronger. Definitely won’t buy it again.
I’m sorry to inform you, but this perfume is this weak from the factory. It’s not your nose or that it’s damaged, it’s just that name INTENSE. Money wasted.
Like the original, it smells incredible at first and makes you sigh. The pineapple opening is one of the best I’ve smelled, sweet and fresh, making you want to eat it. But just like in Legend, the longevity and trail are disappointing, even when tested on a tester which is supposed to be more potent. The base is quite sweet and the oakmoss gives it an earthy, almost rancid touch. I wish Montblanc would fix this with longevity and projection. It’s not very expensive, but there are cheaper fragrances that last and project much more.
I don’t get the fuss about it not lasting… I put it on at 2pm and it was still there until 10pm, with a brilliant trail at first and then with every movement. It smells delicious and classy, nothing vulgar, very proper in the brand’s style. I won’t explain the scent, try it and tell me! I’m giving it a 9/10 because I love it, but it’s very synthetic and many won’t like it.
I don’t understand those who say it doesn’t last… I put it on at 2 pm and it lasted until 10 pm. The first 5 hours had an excellent trail, then it was present with every movement. It’s a delicious scent, very classy, as this brand usually is; nothing vulgar and very correct. I won’t detail the aroma, try it and let me know! I rate it 9/10 because I love it, although it’s very synthetic and many might not like it.
Sorry, but this perfume is pure rubbish.
Like the other Legend, the classic, it keeps the shape but with more intensity. At first, it’s very citrusy, then it becomes fruity and sweet, finishing with a mossy touch that gives it its ephemeral reason for being. It just lacks power… Mmmmm…

I managed to get a tester of this discontinued fragrance and I am satisfied. The opening is a bit synthetic but stunning. It is more intense than the original Legend; the pineapple is very noticeable, the citrus well-blended, with a tonka bean and amber sweetness that isn’t overpowering thanks to the cardamom, wood, and floral notes. It is for daily wear, smells good, and doesn’t bother or challenge anyone. Scent 8, longevity 8, sillage 7, price 8 (if bought while it was available).
This fragrance was a gift from my grandmother years ago. Whenever I wear it, I love the scent it radiates; I truly enjoy using it. Now that I know it is discontinued, I have even more reason to keep it in my collection.
Exquisite! A sweet fruity aroma; I notice the red apple and jasmine a lot. Apparently, it is no longer sold, and I have the pleasure of owning it; I love it. I wear it at family gatherings and evening dates, perfect for autumn and December. It lasts over six hours… Without a doubt, I would buy it again.
A well-made perfume that is no longer sold. It is fruity, fresh, with a touch of soft wood. The pineapple always stands out, sweet and juicy, with a pleasant light woody undertone. The performance is weak, but the scent was good. It wasn’t groundbreaking, so it went unnoticed. It is synthetic fruity but without being jarring. It goes with anywhere and any outfit. Ideal for those who love fresh, ethereal fruits.
A well-made perfume that is no longer sold. It’s fruity, refreshing with a soft woody touch. The pineapple always stands out, sweet and juicy, accompanied by a pleasant light woodiness. The performance is weak, but the scent was good. It wasn’t groundbreaking, which is why it went unnoticed. It’s a pleasant synthetic fruity scent without pretensions. It’s all-terrain and goes with any occasion, regardless of clothing. For lovers of refreshing, ethereal fruity scents.
First impression: very weak. I have to press my nose right up against it. I bought it because the regular version is feeble, and this one doesn’t last or project either, no matter how many sprays you use. It fades quickly, smells synthetic, fruity but like syrup or medicine. Money wasted; the new EDP is better.
Thank goodness I got my hands on this perfume. The bottle I had smelled incredible, super wearable and rich. The downside was that the longevity was merely a trial; it vanished in an hour and a half. That’s why I believe they discontinued it; it was too expensive for what it offered. Nowadays, it’s not worth the price given its poor performance.
I happened to end up with this perfume in my hands. The batch I got smelled incredibly well, super wearable and rich. The bad news is its longevity compares to tester perfumes; no life after an hour and a half or two. Very poor for the price, I think that’s why they discontinued it. It was already quite expensive for what it offered, and although it was one of the richest scents I tried, raising the price after discontinuation makes no sense. That’s the market: today it’s not worth what they ask for its scarce performance.
At first, it smells of alcohol, but quickly a sweet, clear pineapple emerges, like fresh juice. After 20 minutes, it fades into the scent of Legend, sweeter and without the lavender. On my skin, it lasts four or five hours with moderate projection initially, then stays close but noticeable. What a pity they discontinued it; I’d buy it again just for that pineapple note that gives it personality.
One of Montblanc’s finest: sweet, serious, and full of attitude.
