  • Maldito Placer is a fragrance that revolves primarily around honey. For me, the honey is quite well-balanced; it’s not overly sweet but rather aromatic, drawing you to press your nose against the points where the perfume has been applied, creating a mini addiction. I found the bottle fantastic and believe it to be an excellent alternative for those who enjoy fragrances with honey notes.

  • A wicked pleasure that is essentially honey, yet perfectly balanced: not cloyingly sweet, but purely aromatic. It draws you in to sniff where it’s applied and creates a mini addiction. The bottle is fantastic; a great alternative if you enjoy honey-based fragrances.

  • I haven’t tried Black Afgano, but I have worn Red Tobacco by Mancera, and I don’t see much similarity between them. The latter is a very intense fragrance with tobacco taking centre stage, featuring a slightly mentholated opening that differs from Maldito Placer. This one has a softer scent with a distinctly fruity opening, accented by green and honeyed notes, before quickly transitioning to the base notes for a quite short but very pleasant trail. I think it’s a perfume for relaxed or informal occasions and is very unisex; I’m testing it during the heat here in Chile, and it lasts about four hours on my skin, which is notoriously difficult for holding scents. On another note, I also appreciate that so far it doesn’t resemble anything I’ve smelled before.

An excellent perfume where the honey shines, with tobacco in the base and pineapple in the opening. The trail is potent; this is an Eau de Parfum. I tested it in summer, but it’s better suited to autumn and ideally winter evenings. It features sweet, amber and tobacco notes. The longevity is between six and eight hours. In conclusion, it’s an outstanding fragrance that reaches its full potential in cooler environments, plus it’s unisex.

Excellent perfume, where honey, tobacco as a base note, and pineapple as a top note really stand out. The sillage is that of an Eau de Parfum, and when I tried it, it was summer. Clearly, it’s meant for autumn and ideally winter, and for evening wear. It has sweet, amber, and tobacco accords. Its longevity is outstanding, lasting around 6 to 8 hours. In conclusion, it’s an excellent perfume that reaches its full potential in cold environments, and besides, it’s unisex.

  • Paniperfums

It’s one of those addictive perfumes! A tropical, honeyed and aromatic fruit scent, with a clean aspect and a tobacco-musk base (in my opinion, amber). The base is creamy, amber and buttery, which is a distinctive note of the house in their perfume compositions, featuring classic powdery musk and a tranquil sweetness of vanilla with tobacco. Totally genderless, with good projection and longevity.

The base is creamy, amber, and buttery, which is a distinctive note of the house in their fragrance compositions, alongside a classic powdery musk and a tranquil sweetness from vanilla and tobacco. Totally genderless, with good projection and lasting power.

  • With this scent, very characteristic of Maldito Placer, it’s not easy to get used to, particularly the marijuana note paired with a sweet honey, banana and pineapple emulsion. It becomes more bearable with continued use; over time, the marijuana note becomes familiar and recedes into the background. What’s appealing is the olfactive pyramid and what’s unique is the aroma itself. Totally unisex in my opinion. I recommend it for personal home use and to take care with spraying, as it clings more than it projects, but it’s still a proper scent bomb.

  • Freesurfmatt

It’s a creamy, fruity perfume with a unique scent. Not a love at first sniff, but the longer you wear it, the more you come to enjoy it. In my opinion, it’s unisex but leans masculine. The quality is brilliant, no doubt about it, and far superior to several commercial brands that are nothing but marketing. Presentation: 10/10. Scent: 8.5/10. Sillage: 8.0/10. Longevity: 8.0/10.

Totally unisex in my opinion. I recommend it for personal use at home and take care with spraying; it projects less but sags more, yet it’s still a proper fragrance.

  • It’s an absolute madness of a perfume; it comes out brash, like a slap in the face, with a scent most people won’t enjoy. It’s like cannabis with something acidic and fruity, I think lychee. After a few seconds it becomes cloyingly sweet and fruity, very intense, but by half an hour it transforms into a magical floral accord that’s addictive—I can’t stop smelling myself. Not something to buy blind, but it is unique.

  • It’s a crazy perfume; it comes out strident, like a slap in the face, with an aroma most people don’t like. It’s like marijuana with something sour and fruity, I think lychee, then within seconds it turns into a cloyingly sweet, fruity scent, very intense. After half an hour, there’s a magical floral twist, addictive—I can’t stop smelling myself. It’s not one to buy blindly, but it is unique.
