About Marejada
Marejada by Casaniche is an olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2021, the nose behind this composition is Maximiliano Cifuentes. The top notes are green apple, pink grapefruit and blackcurrant; the heart notes evoke an ozonic character with sea salt and floral accents; the base notes reveal marine algae, Iso E Super, fir and amber. Inspired by the Chilean coast, this distinctive proposal offers an intense aroma that marks the skin and transports the wearer to the clean air of the coast and the refreshing sea breeze that fills with pleasure. The brand recalls its personal origin working on ships docking in Antofagasta: the smell of salt on the ropes upon arriving at the port, the journey from the pier to the launch rising with the damp smell of the sea while the waves battered the algae-covered rocks. A whole olfactory spectacle full of marine nuances, an adrenaline rush while navigating through swells.

Ozone-clean with a salty breath and an algal base that gives it character. Ideal for those seeking a marine scent with personality or wanting to dive fully into the salty side.
Ozone-clean with a salty twist; the sea algae at the base give it character. Ideal for anyone wanting to try a salty fragrance or a marine scent with more personality.
It’s the salty breeze of a cloudy day just before rain on an algal beach. If you like the DNA of Megamare and its derivatives, this is for you: it doesn’t smell like summer freshness, but pure, dark, and dense sea. In terms of performance, it was a beast: lasted two days on skin, projected for five hours, and survived a hot shower.
The definitive marine. A beautiful composition that fits Maximiliano’s vision perfectly. It starts fruity, highlighting the apple, but the saltiness gradually takes over, evoking seawater and foam. It’s a very particular salty-marine scent; that woody note gives it body. It’s not an airy, ethereal aquatic aroma, but a wave that hits you with force. The ingredients are of the highest quality and, while fresh for warm weather, it has beastly longevity: I wore it on my wrist and it lasted 24 hours (though obviously fading on the skin in the final hours). It’s an honour for a fragrance of this calibre to come from a Chilean creator; what a masterpiece. 🇨🇱
The ultimate marine. A beautiful composition that fits Maximiliano’s vision. It starts fruity, highlighting the apple, but the salt gains ground until it becomes the protagonist: sea salt and foam. It’s a corporeal salty-marine due to that woody touch; it’s not ethereal, it’s a wave hitting you hard. Ingredients of the highest quality and beastly longevity for a fresh scent: I tested it on my wrist and it lasted 24 hours. A honour that a Chilean has produced this masterpiece. 🇨🇱
Casa Niche returns with an olfactory experience where salt is king, something almost imperceptible in designer perfumes. It’s an aromatic salt emulsified with marine elements, a job by ISO and Super, featuring notes of grapefruit, apple, currants, and amber. Perfect for a sunny, fresh, and sparkling summer day. In my opinion, it suits picnics or dates, but no more than four sprays. Watch out: don’t be fooled by its summer nature; as a collector, I’m surprised by its longevity on skin.
A summer fragrance with ozone and marine notes, ideal for daytime wear in summer. An Eau de Parfum with 5 to 6 hours of longevity and a trail beyond the arm. Highlights citrus like grapefruit, a salty-floral heart, and a base of amber and algae. Very fresh and perfect for the beach or countryside in open settings.
More than aquatic, in my opinion, it stands out for its herbal character, reminding me of the Carat de Cartier bouquet of freshly cut flowers. It’s not sweet at all, so it’s not for sweet lovers. It’s a fresh and clean scent, very pleasant for spring and summer if you give it a chance, but don’t buy it blindly as it’s not for everyone’s taste. I think both men and women can enjoy it if they aren’t looking for a sweet bomb. Medium-low trail and 5 hours of longevity. I love that a Chilean company produces good perfumes with excellent quality-price ratio.
A curious scent: it smells exclusively of watermelon, to be specific, of watermelon bubblegum.
