  On the brand’s website they list sage as the base eucalyptus as the star (which I absolutely love) and oregano as a supporting note describing it thus: ‘The scent after the rain brought by the Pampero wind dispels the clouds and ignites the vast green meadow. Sir William Henry Hudson remembered it by heart and this perfume conveys it to us instinctively.’ It belongs to the ‘Destinos’ collection classified as green in the main family and aromatic in the secondary. Several creations by Julián Bedel evoke Argentine La Pampa such as ‘Ballena de La Pampa’ (from the Fábula Fauna collection) with thirteen musks a speciality of Fueguía 1833 or ‘Pampa Seca’ (also in Destinos) which features Pampa Grass black algarrobo (Bedel always surprises us with something new) and galbanum (not very prominent at all). It is a hymn to delicacy and balance; rich to the nose yet when it casts its magic spell on the skin it is so pleasant that it becomes addictive. I believe it is not yet on Fragrantica but the house presents ‘Pampa Seca’ as follows: ‘The power of imagination makes us infinite. Imagine endless lands governed by majestic Ombú and Pampa trees the boundless territories of pure nature.’
