This fragrance has caught me off guard in the best way; it smells different from everything I’ve tried. The red fruit is clear, and I believe I can sense the rhubarb, though I sometimes confuse it with the hibiscus and other things. The oysters drew me in, but I don’t detect them; there is something marine, but it doesn’t smell of oysters unless I read about it. It has a floral and fresh touch that makes it manageable for everyday wear, even in the heat, although I’m not sure if it would hold up to midday sun in August. The performance is fair, as is typical for this style on my skin, but its originality makes me think of adding it to my collection, even if it’s not a priority. It recalls Nishane’s Zenne, but it’s not the same. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 8, Projection: 7, Value for money: 5, Versatility: 8, Originality: 9, Overall: 8.5
I’ve loved it; it smells interesting and different from what I’ve tried. The red berries are noticeable, and I think I can detect rhubarb, although sometimes I confuse it with them, as happens with the hibiscus. The oyster note caught my attention, yet I don’t detect it; there is a slight marine touch, but I wouldn’t have imagined an oyster scent if I hadn’t read it in the notes. It has a floral and fresh quality that makes it wearable for daily life, even in the heat, though I’m not sure how it would fare under an August scorching sun. The performance is fair, something common in this style on my skin, but its originality makes me consider it for the collection, even if it’s not a priority. It reminds me of Nishane’s Zenne, although they aren’t the same. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 8, Projection: 7, Value for money: 5, Versatility: 8, Originality: 9, Overall: 8.5
I’m not one to seek subtlety; I prefer potent, intense fragrances that announce my arrival before anyone sees my face. However, for me, potency isn’t shrillness, and this perfume is exactly that: a loud floral bomb with stinging red berries that put me right off. I understand it has its audience, but it’s definitely not for me. Smelling it brings to mind the typical wealthy older lady, super-enjoyed and excessive in everything. I’m sorry, but I don’t want to smell like that.
Subtlety isn’t for me… I seek potent and intense fragrances, the kind that make everyone take notice when I enter, even if they can’t see me. But potency isn’t shrillness, and so is this perfume: a shrill floral bomb with stinging red berries that put me right off. I understand it has its following, but it’s definitely not for me… Smelling it makes me picture the typical wealthy older lady, super-enjoyed and over-made up, excessive in everything. I’m sorry, but I don’t like smelling like that.
