I just want to remember why I dislike it: it smells of chlorine. Yes, there are other accords, but since its release, it smells of that pool chlorine that sticks to the skin, very chemical. It has oud, spices, animalic notes, and that nutmeg I don’t like. There are good things, of course, but nothing. It has a curious metallic touch and something fresh, with a dense base, but it saves nothing. It smells of chlorine. The dry-down is nice, with that metallic and rough edge, but the memory of chlorine kills it. Yes, it smells of chlorine. What a wonder.
Quick summary: it smells of pool chlorine to me. Yes, there are other accords, but from the very first moment that chemical smell dominates and lingers on the skin. The oud, the spices, and my much-disliked nutmeg are there, along with a curious and fresh metallic touch. The base with rhubarb I like a bit, but the memory of chlorine kills me. What a wonder.
It is a spicy fragrance with a soft and woody oud base, nothing animalic or faecal. At first, the spices and castoreum give it an animalic touch, but as it dries down it becomes sweet, delicate and elegant. It lasts more than 10 hours, although afterwards it stays stuck to the skin without projection. Ideal for lovers of strong oud or for daily wear. To me, it is a great spicy fragrance with an oud base. The oud used is soft and easy to wear, more woody than animalic or faecal. But mixed with spices and castoreum, it gives it an animalic touch, especially in the opening. The dry-down is sweeter, delicate and elegant. It lasts hours, more than ten on my skin, although after the opening it stays very close, almost without projection. It is a very good oud option for those who like strong fragrances or for daily wear. Scent: 9.5 Longevity: 9 Sillage: 6 Versatility: 9 Originality: 9 Overall: 9
