If you like cinnamon, this is for you. It’s elegant and rich. It lasts over six hours without any issues. Winter and autumn only, nothing for summer.
I’m more than certain they reformulated this and toned down the potency; it no longer has that magical presence it had with the moon-shaped bottle. It opens spicy and fresh, almost floral, before revealing its apple note which makes it cheerful. It projects well without being intrusive and lasts quite a while. I disagree with Yuri: it’s far too light for winter; I wear it in spring and autumn. Ideal for the office. It’s a pity it’s not as good as before; I miss that strength, though it remains a valid perfume.
Excellent combination by Madame Corinne: the ginger and cinnamon give it a special touch. It’s fresh, nothing boring, almost addictive. It has great longevity and a huge trail. I recommend it 100%: you’ll show freshness and tidiness all day.
Excellent combination that Madame Corinne made; the ginger and cinnamon give it a special touch. It’s fresh, not boring, almost addictive. It has great longevity and huge sillage. I recommend it 100%: you’ll show freshness and neatness all day.
While cleaning my room and reorganising fragrances, I stumbled upon a sample I knew I had but hadn’t realised wasn’t the Presence Cool (which I almost never use; I’ve used up two bottles). A forum friend, Peluzin, who recommended Homme Exceptionnel to me, told me to try the Presence. When I read the envelope properly and saw it wasn’t the Cool but this Presence, I was encouraged to try it (though between saying it and doing it, 48 hours passed). The first thing upon smelling it on my hand: 1) It’s muuuuch different from the Presence Cool. 2) It’s muuuuch similar to Karl Lagerfeld’s Jako. I clarify that I’m not saying it’s a copy, but that it was my first impression of its style and approach to scents. Like the Jako, this Presence is old-school, potent, and full of personality. The initial blast is that spice crossover: ginger, cinnamon, and cardamom; the citrus is barely noticeable. Then something floral (masculine) emerges, close to lavender (though it doesn’t contain lavender, I imagine it’s a crossover of other notes). Upon drying down, it’s an avoirdupois-vanilla scent with tonka bean and apple sweetness (though I’m used to the one from DKNY Be Delicious, which my sister uses). It’s a ‘warm’ fragrance, for cold or temperate climates (I don’t recommend it for tropical climates). It’s not jovial; it’s very formal, for jacket and long-sleeved shirt (important meetings). It can be used for a romantic lunch, but not for a date. No one who smells it will perceive it as outdated or unrefined. My final verdict (subjective opinion): I liked it very much, but personally, I prefer the Presence Cool.
Presence by Montblanc: elegant, sweet, spicy, and slightly fruity. The first minutes are very sweet, almost cloying, due to the cinnamon, ginger, and the strong sweetness of amber. After 30 minutes, the sweetness gives way to a more fruity and floral stage, much more pleasant, becoming warm like a tender embrace. Upon drying down, notes of soft woods and warm tonka bean emerge, but it maintains freshness and florality. It has great presence, honouring its name. Better for mid-seasons like spring or autumn; in summer it can be cloying and in winter perhaps too light. It’s optional for dates, very pleasant towards the end of its dry down. Longevity on my skin is over 12 hours. Suitable for those in their mid-twenties or older.
It smells good and has average longevity. It’s a scent between powdery and sweet. It smells good, but from Mont Blanc, I find Individual and Starwalker more imposing. Anyway, it’s a good option.
In my opinion, very elegant and sophisticated, formal but not boring. It’s a sweet and powdery scent with good longevity on the skin. Very versatile, for summer or winter, day or night. Excellent fragrance! In its favour, its price: it’s not expensive for what it offers.
Subjective review: It happens to me with Prada Amber Pour Homme too; it bores me immensely. When I open my cabinet to choose, I never pick it; if I do, it’s out of obligation to avoid putting it in the ‘out of rotation’ group. It gives a sensation of good quality, like the other Mont Blancs I own, and the price is very good. The smell gives me a medium rejection, but it’s very subjective. Performance is very good. No one has ever praised it. It seems similar to Kenzo Tokyo and somewhat like Lancôme’s Hypnose, fragrances that I also don’t like.
To me, it smells like shaving cream; I don’t like it.
I’m not a huge fan of Mont Blanc, but this fragrance is delicate, masculine, and very elegant. It opens timidly but with a marked body. Ideal for special occasions. On my skin, heliotrope and spices stand out. It suits any season.
Incredible scent and far from boring; it’s evolving and captivating. It opens strong with cardamom and ginger, then the cinnamon recalls candy without being cloying. In the heart, it smells like Burberry London but better, with a clean soapy touch that is enchanting. Towards the end, it’s similar to Dior’s Fahrenheit, musky, woody, and caramelised. I believe it contains leather, violets, and nutmeg. Longevity is excellent, around 12 hours; projection is low but it begs to be sniffed up close.
Incredible aroma, nothing boring, quite the opposite: ever-changing and captivating. It starts strong and sharp, pure cardamom and ginger, then the cinnamon rises; in this phase it smells like Candy sweets but without being cloying or appearing feminine. In the dry-down it reminds me of London Burberry but with everything it lacked: it becomes playful with a clean soapy scent that captivates you. Finally, similar to Dior’s Fahrenheit, musky, woody, and caramelised. Perhaps it contains leather, violets and nutmeg even if they aren’t listed. Excellent longevity, around 12 hours, but it doesn’t project much; the idea is to be an invitation to be sniffed up close.
I bought this perfume based on the reviews, but I regret not testing it first. It smells like talcum powder or soap, nothing special, just clean. I wouldn’t recommend it. Scent: 7, Projection: 7, Longevity: 7, Sillage: 7.
I bought it based on comments from others and I regret not having smelled it before. It smells like talcum powder or soap, it has nothing special, it simply smells clean. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Scent: 7, Projection: 7, Longevity: 7, Trail: 7.
It was my first ‘expensive’ purchase alongside the Victorinox Unlimited. It’s the ideal scent for watching the rain with a fireplace lit: warm, elegant, and slightly fruity. Years ago I chose it for a meeting in Mazamitla, Jalisco, and everyone asked what I was wearing because it suited me perfectly. The downside is the lack of projection after a few hours, as with all Montblanc fragrances, and this has worsened with recent bottles due to reformulations.
I’ve had it for several months and use it occasionally. I picked it up because of the bargain price ($404 MXN). At first, I didn’t like it much; it seemed sweet with little evolution, but it’s a unique aroma. Over time, I grew to appreciate it, especially on cooler days. I feel wrapped in its creaminess; the cinnamon is like an infusion and the apple adds brightness to the ginger. The cardamom and bean make it cosy. What more can I say about something that cost me a quarter of the normal price? I like it a lot for autumn. It lasts about six hours on the skin. It’s good for the office or classes; it’s not loud. Tastes break gender barriers, so relax.
I’ve had it for several months and use it from time to time. I fell for it because I found a 75ml bottle of Montblanc at a price that left no room for doubt: 404 pesos. At first, in April, I didn’t like it much; it seemed sweet at the start, very creamy and with little evolution. But among the few I own, the scent was unique and different. Over time, by applying it occasionally on days without much heat, I grew to like it. I think it’s more for mild cold than for heat; I feel wrapped in its creaminess. The cinnamon is like an infusion on fresh days, the apple adds brightness to the ginger, the cardamom makes it cosy, and the bean is that slight initial sweetness. What can I say about something that cost me a quarter of the usual price? Leaving the bargain aside, I love it for these autumnal days. No complaints. It lasts about six hours on my skin with a moderate trail for the first hour. A good option for the office or classes because it’s not loud. As they say, tastes differ, so relax, every opinion is that.
I had the old half-moon bottle version and now the current one. The bottle is elegant but less original than the previous one. The scent sums up in one word: ELEGANCE.
I had the first formulation, the one with the half-moon bottle and the atomiser in the base, and I just bought the current one, an elegant bottle but much less original than the old one. The scent can be summed up in one word: ELEGANCE.
Good, pretty and cheap. A perfectly valid perfume if you don’t want to complicate things and are looking for something to use every day, for any occasion, and that not everyone wears. It has a slight shaving foam scent which makes it masculine, but with warm notes like cinnamon, apple and ginger that make it versatile and not too conventional. Longevity and projection are correct.
Good, beautiful, and cheap. It’s valid if you don’t want to complicate things and are looking for something daily that not everyone wears. A clean but very soft scent with little sillage. I liked how my husband wore it, but I wouldn’t repurchase it.
One of my favourites. It’s clean, soapy, and fresh. Ideal for an informal white shirt or for school. It was one of my first perfumes and everyone praised it. It brings back memories because my father used to wear it too. 10/10.
One of the worst purchases I’ve made alongside Curve. It smells like clean laundry and nothing else; it lacks both projection and longevity.
I love it; I bought it for the price and it suits my skin wonderfully. It finishes smelling sweet and creamy, similar to Duvalin. It’s cheap and I think that warm scent suits me perfectly, especially on fairer skin. It doesn’t smell like soap; if it did, I wouldn’t have bought it again.
Presence by Montblanc is oriental, unique, distinguished, and clean. You can detect the cinnamon, ginger, and sandalwood; it’s ideal for the office or romantic dates. It feels mature, suited for men over 30. I haven’t seen anything like it, and the price is top. The longevity is moderate, but two sprays last eight hours. Give it a try before deciding; it’s not for everyone, but it’s a great option.
Wearing it makes me feel brilliant and crisp, as if I have a vibrant second skin that instantly puts me in a positive mood. Starting the morning with Presence is pure delight. I’ve never smelled it on anyone else; it’s a hidden gem at an incredible price, hands down.
I find it lacks longevity; you have to apply it 2 or 3 times a day. It doesn’t stand out at all. I think it’s a scent for people from the age of 40. I didn’t like it at all. It’s fresh at first and has a clean aroma. I’m wearing it in summer, perhaps it would perform better in the cold.
Montblanc Presence smells clean and slightly spicy. It’s a masculine scent, but in my opinion it’s for people more adult and mature than me right now. It’s not my type.
It was a blind buy, a serious mistake. The opening is slightly spicy and fresh at the same time, perhaps due to the cinnamon and apple. But as it dries, a powdery and sweet scent predominates, something you probably smell in men over 50.

Gentlemen of the heart, let me tell you it’s a great perfume. Montblanc gives us another incredible gem, a perfume for all seasons. It’s an incredible scent, mind you, it’s super masculine for real men, nothing of those who are asking for unisex. So don’t cry, this is a masterpiece of perfumery.
My dad gifted me this perfume; I think he enjoys giving me perfumes. With this, thanks to its wide aroma, I was introduced to the world of perfumery. It opens spicy and cinnamon-like, with cardamom present. It’s good, intense and complex. I read it smells of talcum, but I think it depends on the skin. As it dries down, the spices and vanilla dominate, while the talcum and citrus fade into the background. It lasts a good while, about 6 hours in my case. My skin is light brown (a light coffee) and I think that’s the key. After nearly 24 hours, the scent doesn’t go away, but that clean baby powder or old-man smell remains, haha. Personally, I like it very much; it always presents a sophisticated and penetrating profile, without being imposing or too discreet, it’s sweet without being cloying. It has its own unique personality. It’s not totally youthful, more suited for attending a well-dressed meeting or a formal event. I’d say it vibrates more in autumn and winter, or spring when it’s not too hot yet. Would I recommend it? Yes, but I suggest trying it on skin for more than 24 hours, haha.
A MAN’S perfume with a capital M, nothing for children. It’s for men over 20, very versatile and easy to use. Simple and reliable, it never fails for me. Montblanc knows how to make easy perfumes; you can smell the cinnamon and spices with the apple, a combination hard to get wrong. Women like it, but don’t overdo the sprays. It lasts well, projects well and smells well: it has the three B’s. It’s not the eighth wonder, but it’s a solid 7/10. SPECTACULAR.
It makes me feel sick and nauseous; it’s almost identical to Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier.
It’s the perfume for a grown man, not for kids (I was about 22 back then 😄). A girl gave it to me back in 2003 with the first half-moon bottle, a real beauty (now it’s changed). I always try to keep a bottle of this. It’s a powdery scent that relaxes you; in these times when everyone goes for the latest trends, it’s worth trying.
I love it: it’s very masculine, aromatic and fresh.
I’m not sure if it’s versatile or just for cold weather. But it’s worth it: Montblanc is my favourite brand in this range, and this fragrance is no exception. Compared to the nineties, it doesn’t stand out much; if you wore it today, my boss would say it’s outdated. But next to the One Million, it does stand out and smells damn good of nutmeg, cinnamon and apple. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again, but I like it quite a bit. Scent 8/10, Price 8/10, Projection 7/10, Longevity 7.5/10.
