At first, the lavender shines above all else, then softens and blends with the rest without any individual flower being noticeable. The absinthe is almost always present, alongside the lavender which never ceases to smell. In dry down it becomes more vanilla-like, with a touch of amber and patchouli. It is totally masculine, although the sweet finish could be unisex. I recommend it for any season, better in cold weather, and for day or night. The longevity and projection are very good. Highly recommended.
To understand it, you have to think about the name: a touch of heaven, not the whole sky. It’s a drop of honey for a man who has lost something precious and drinks to forget. It’s the image of a broken poet: it starts with fresh, tender lavender, evolves into something bitter with patchouli, and closes with a cruelly sweet absinthe. I love how the lavender blends with the sadness until it succumbs to bitterness. It’s a flawless, clean, and polished Kilian creation. The idea of the shattered poet is so real it hurts. But it’s not for me; melancholy isn’t my natural state.

Lasts longer than Caron, alcohol-free and top quality, that’s for sure. But watch out for the price: you won’t find 750ml for under €100 anywhere. The vanilla is generic, losing the classic Caron touch, and while originality counts, the absinthe becomes too green and sharp in the dry down, as if there’s too much of it. Not for me, though its sibling is lighter, more like an EDT.
