  Love and Tears: Surrender is an incredibly well-constructed perfume that tells a different story on every skin. Like an ambiguous and mysterious fable, each reading depends on who experiences it. It is a fragrance made almost entirely of jasmine, the protagonist of this sad chapter in ‘L’Ouvre Noire’ where the heart breaks and sinks into sorrow. For, does love not also imply suffering? The more you loved, the greater the pain of loss. ‘Love and Tears: Surrender’ smells like that inner moment when you keep waiting for that person to return. That is why the chosen jasmine is fresh, vigorous, and exquisite, wrapped in soft aquatic notes and a cushion of moss. Even those who do not like white flowers, including myself, are surprised by the dramatic intensity of this scent. It is a perfume that needs to be tried to see how it evolves on the skin. Unfortunately, in my case, what begins as a cold, melancholic jasmine eventually warms up. The wild nature of the jasmine takes over, revealing animalistic and warm tints, which makes it lose its appeal for me. However, it is a great jasmine perfume; in fact, the most delicious jasmine I have ever smelled.
