  Soft oud with an even more delicate rose, creating a combo that smells different from the typical one and that I love. It’s woody but not dry, rather aromatic and slightly powdery. Papyrus is noticeable in the heart. It smells great, with that just-right sweet touch without going overboard, and as it dries, as is often the case with Kilian, the vanilla takes on more strength. Normal projection, high longevity and totally unisex.

  Soft oud with an even more delicate rose, creating a fragrance that moves away from the typical combo and that I appreciate. It’s woody, but not dry, rather aromatic with a powdery touch. Papyrus stands out in the heart, it smells great with a sweet touch that doesn’t overdo it, and as it dries, as is often the case with Kilian, the vanilla gains strength. Normal projection, high longevity and totally unisex.

  I admit that at first I didn’t get Cruel Intentions, but after two sprays and reading the reviews, I’ve finally come around. It’s a top-tier blend of vetiver, rose, oud and vanilla, with plenty of other nuances. It’s not aggressive, ideal for autumn, though it works well in winter too. To me, it’s a perfume with an aura of mystery, sober and with a dark concept that conveys coldness; it makes me feel like a tuxedo with an undone bow tie and a defiant attitude. The longevity is 9-10 hours, but the projection on my skin is very weak. Overall, it’s very attractive, with everything needed to project mystique, except for the key ingredient: charm. It smells good, a first-rate blend, but remains a bit serious. It’s sweet and dirty at the same time… the perfume of the Marquis de Sade.
