Saghya is such a rare gem that I fail to understand why it was removed from the catalogue, especially when they continue to sell more generic fragrances like Sedley. It opens with bright, fresh citrus notes before moving into a clean, masculine wood that isn’t aggressive. It smells neither old nor sweet, but rather possesses a serene and masterful elegance. It is exactly what is missing today: freshness with character and sophistication without excess. I keep it solely for special occasions because it is hard to find; for everyday wear, I use Percival or Darley, and for winter, Herod. When it comes to fresh niche scents, Saghya is in my top 3 from the house. Its withdrawal left a bitter taste, much like when a fine wine is discontinued. It is an irreparable loss for those who truly value fine perfumery.
An incredible perfume, though sadly no longer in production. It’s ideal for adults and feels truly luxurious. Very woody, opening with citrus before settling into a powerful cedar base with hints of oud and plenty of vetiver. Clearly a masculine scent with excellent projection and trail. As always, test before buying, but if you enjoy vetiver and can find bottles, you’re well on your way to a winner.
Incredible perfume, though it’s no longer in production, ideal for adults and very luxurious. It’s distinctly woody, starting with citrus and finishing with a potent cedar, echoing oud and featuring plenty of vetiver. Clearly a masculine fragrance with significant projection and sillage. As always, test before buying, but if you enjoy vetiver and can find bottles, you have a good chance of getting it right.
Ugh, the opening is brutal, or at least that’s how I perceive it: a blend of Persian lemon, pepper, and resinous wood from the oud. However, as it dries down, it transforms completely and smells fantastic, like a lemon cream with a warm woody and musky touch, akin to an exotic body cream. It’s one of the few citrus scents that isn’t artificial or realistic like Chanel Allure; here, the style is creamy and milky without the notes giving it away. Longevity 8/10, versatility 8/10, originality 10/10, and sillage 8/10. Perhaps within PDM it doesn’t quite reach the heights of Herod or Layton, but it’s a gem that deserves more hype.

Starts very simply, like a lemon cream with a hint of pepper. As it dries down, a woody base emerges within the first hour, followed by the oud that truly makes the difference. It’s fresh yet complex, with no soapy lemon scent; instead, it’s creamy and substantial. Its evolution is the key. Very energising, with moderate sillage lasting around 5 to 6 hours. Recommended for informal spring and summer wear, and it suits perfectly from the age of 25. Scent 7/10, sillage 5.5/10, longevity 6.5/10, and projection 8/10.
