Smells like pure palo santo, an absolute delight. How long does it last on the skin? ☝🏻

I’m starting to think my skin projects incense hugely. I love incense; I’m Christian, it connects me with that feeling and with Holy Week in southern Spain, where I’m from… but I get tired of smelling just incense, and when a perfume carries it, on my skin I only sense that.

Sophisticated and very elegant. An absolute treat!! I don’t smell the rose and I don’t need to. Unisex, leaning towards the feminine side. Exquisite!

What a perfume spectacle! Wow! I’m in love, I smelled it two days ago at a department store and easily bring its scent to mind. I love the palo santo smell and it predominates here. In my opinion it’s unisex, for bold women who like different things, with character and who want to make an impact, not to go unnoticed. In men, it would be super sexy. In short, it’s an aroma I’d want to smell on my partner. I want it, no ifs or buts, and wouldn’t hesitate to share it to enjoy it on him too.

Literally smells like carpentry and joinery. Even when drying, it leaves a varnish sensation (nothing aggressive). The trail is weak but present (the nature of the ingredients doesn’t allow for a powerful trail), but that sensation of smelling old furniture is wonderful.

Ebene Fumé Tom Ford: An eccentric and unusual scent that, even for demanding noses, is a tremendous fragrance revealing fine and exquisite woods, combined with herbs, spices, resins and incense. It’s like stepping into a grand house where aromatic wood abounds, filling the entire space. A glossy yet opaque and rough luxury; highly refined with sublime taste. Attention to detail is present in every note; woods, resins and incense are savoured separately. It definitely recalls Nasomatto’s Black Afgano, but here there is no dominant note; they all play equal parts, with palo santo being the key to its charm. It’s not an easy scent for every occasion; experience is needed to appreciate it, as it goes beyond simply ‘smelling good’. Truly, it’s a luxury to behold its quality and beauty, an exclusive fragrance that lingers in the memory. It should be worn in situations that deserve it. It is purely lucid, exemplary, refined and beautiful, used to define status and keep distance. It’s not jovial; it requires maturity, personality, class, elegance and the bearing of a man who has arrived, solvent and secure. Its use is social and nocturnal. It has a peculiar and sensual charm. In summary, an extraordinary perfume. Scent: 11. Projection: moderate. Longevity: 7 hours. Recommended.

Listen, it smells identical to the Bottled Elixir; it’s the same essence.

It smells to me of old wooden cupboards, burnt pine resin, and aged timber; it’s a real treat.

One of the best I wear; it invites compliments. That palo santo, ebony, spices, and incense project personality; it’s for mature noses. Simply superb.

Blind buy. Simply put, it feels like a work of art: I detect a strong palo santo accord with woods and incense in the base. The only drawback is that, while it lasts quite a long time, the trail is very moderate and fades to skin-level quickly. All in all, it’s worth it; for me, it has become one of my favourites in the collection.
