Born and raised in Mexico City, Rodrigo Flores-Roux discovered his passion for perfumes at an early age. This passion led him to study biology in Mexico before moving to France at the age of 20 in 1989 to attend the prestigious perfumery school ISIPCA in Versailles. There, he had the opportunity to complete an internship with the renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena.

Rodrigo began his career designing aromas for shampoos and cosmetic products, but his big breakthrough came with the creation of the iconic fragrance Clinique Happy. Today, he holds the positions of Senior Perfumer and Vice President of Fragrance Creation at Givaudan, a leading fragrance house worldwide.

Throughout his illustrious career, Rodrigo has worked with top-tier brands such as Tom Ford, John Varvatos, Dolce & Gabbana, DKNY, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger and Estée Lauder, to name a few. His notable talent has earned him numerous FiFi Awards and has taken him to the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame.
